After flashing some roms on my DX, every time I boot the phone, it shows a red coloured warning like the one showed when booting into recovery, what does that means? Is there any way to remove the warning?

We all have it. It's just a standard message you get if you install custom ROM/recovery.
AW: [Q] Red warning at boot (Splashscreen)
It comes up when you have a unlocked bootloader. Everything is fine, don't mind.

However, when I unlocked bootloader/installed CWM, at first times it didn't appeared, so I was worried about that.
Thanks
just fixes friends HOX+ (twrp recovery, CMX) and he doesnt have this warning... which i found to be weird :/

Well basically the title says it all. ARHD was the firs custom ROM i tried on my phone. I changed it and started do use MIUI for some time. But I decided to go back to AR. The problem is when I install it it stays in the boot screen. So I had to go back into recovery and go back to MIUI. I really miss AR. Any help will be appreciated.

Did you do a factory reset and whipe the dalvik cache before you tried to reinstall ARHD?

Yes I did. The installation looks complete and there are no erros or anything. But the boot screen wont change. It stays in the default boot screen (the white background with green letters "HTC" )

That means it could be a problem with h-boot and s-off. I would recommend making sure your h-boot is up to date and you have s-off.

Try to redo all the step.
Wipe, Data, Cache, Dalvik.
Then flash the kernel, Install the ROM.zip, and the last is Gapps.

You can do this by booting into the bootloader, using volume down and the power button at the same time, then once in the bootloader look at what version number it says for h-boot on the screen. This video also shows you how to boot into the bootloader.
So, i updated my rom (to Elegancia 4.8, as I heard 4.9 has problems), and now I am stuck at boot. If I try to boot to recovery, the TeamWin logo comes up and then the phone reboots. How do I go about fixing this?
EDIT: Just got weirder. It fully booted, then sort of shut off the screen when i touched it. I turned the screen back on, and then it rebooted again.

Do a full wipe, flash stock kernel and try again. If that doesnt work lock bootloader again and flash stock ruu.

Full wipe from where? I can't get to recovery. It has now fully booted, but if i try to get back to recovery it kind of lags out a bit and eventually reboots into rom. I am backing up everything now. I already tried reflashing the recovery, it still just crashes when i boot into it.
if i were you i would lock the bootloader again and flash the stock ruu, after that start from scratch.

How does one lock the bootloader? I might try after everything finishes backing up.

Except somehow now it is doing recovery and everything just fine. I did a full wipe and titanium restore, just to be safe. Seems to be all good. Thanks for your help!
So I was flashing a kernel and the thing rebooted during flash. Now it doesn't go past the HTC boot screen with that development message in red. I can boot into fast boot and recovery, but cannot find a way to go past the boot screen. Even locked and then unlocked the phone, even flashed a rom the phone,.Any way to fix this?
Thnx

1)Word to the wise. You don't have a brick. Bricks are when you can't do anything to the phone
2)what previous posters said. Wipe cache and factory wipe and flash stock rom. If you don't have a nandroid or one on the phone use adb. Push to get it there

Yes, I can get into fast boot and recovery. I tried fast boot, adb and nothing seems to work. Ruu for my carrier is not out yet.

Hi,
I had just flashed a few Roms, but this time i tried to flash the "RLS1 Sense 5 port M7 BadSeed Customs *Tranquil Rom* RLS1"
At the end it says "Your DNA is now feeling Tranquil....", but when i reboot, it shows the White HTC screen with the Red HTC developement sentence for 30 seconds, then turns off again, turns on with a HTC screen without this sentence and then TWRP starts again.
That's where I'm stuck.
How can i fix this? I have no Recovery on the Phone.
Thanks
Wayne

How do you not have a recovery? Flash twrp and try again
Sent from my HTC Droid DNA using xda app-developers app
I'm s-off and I wiped cache, Dalvik and system.
Edit: Ok, now i made a full wipe. and now it gets stuck in the HTC screen
Edit: I'm tryingto copy another rom via Sideload
If twrp starts that is recovery

If you wiped system it's not going to load obviously. You need to side load a ROM

Now i sideloaded another Rom and this worked. Thanks to all, especialy to letschky who helped me via email.
So I was flashing a unofficial CM9 on my phone and everything went without problems. But after the reboot I get a black screen after the HTC logo.
I can still go to fastboot menu and CWM. And factory reset didn't help.
Hopefully you can help me
You need to flash Kernel for CM on your phone to make it work. Read OP in the Rom Thread for instructions.

I already have them.
Then reinstall them.
Are you on Windows 8?
Also try a sd card mounting app such as Multi Mount

EDIT:It's hard to use apps when your phone is bricked...
Ok I found a way to flash the new rom but I have still the same problem. Everytime when the boots up I get the HTC logo with a sentence that says:
'This build is for development purposes only. Do not distribute outside of HTC without HTC's permission. Failure may lead to legal action' or something like that,it's going way to fast.
And after that I get the black screen, but there i can also use the button combination to go to the fastboot menu.
You need to install a sense kernel. Just choose one yourself or use stock kernel. The message about development purposes is normal, we all have it. Without S-Off we can't get it away.

Yes we can.... And I'm pretty sure you can change it to another animation (it was either in prototype or Fulmix kernel)
Sent from my HTC Desire X using Tapatalk
What you mean, is an additional splash screen shown after the HTC logo and before the boot animation...
And I don't need to wipe or flash another ROM? (I'm currently using Half Sense ROM now)
No, as long as you just install the right kernel, it should boot, but be sure to have the ROM installed correctly.
