I have mine. I'll PM you sometime tomorrow evening most likely. Pacific time.
Whoops. I thought I had it. I have backup of RUU_Hero_HTC_WWE_2.73.405.5_WWE_release_signed_NoDriver which I used to root. Probably not much help then.
Thanks for looking bud... Anyone else?

To the best of my knowledge, there can be no nandroid backup of the Telus 1.5 ROM, as we needed root to run nandroid, and we needed to flash a non-Telus ROM in order to get root.

Thats true but last time I did restore to my first rooted ROM after rooting my Hero I received an update from Telus. I would love to have it back so my wife could use the 2.1 update that Telus provides.
Oh well. Thanks guys!

2 weeks ago I rooted my buddy's Hero (OS 1.5) using Androot and I COULD have taken a nandroid backup but didn't... sorry! Had you made your request back then I'd hook you up right now.
Like I said in the PM, I'll try to get another 1.5 Hero from a work colleague who doesn't even use his Hero anymore.
There still is faint hope!

Ah ha! I knew there was a reason why I didn't have a 1.5 backup... just couldn't quite remember why.
Thanks for jogging my shotty memory!
Hey,
Finally Optus rolled out some kind of Jelly Bean update for the Desire X. Yay? They have released Software Update 2.23.980.3 with Android 4.1.1 and Sense 4+. Is this the good bug free Jelly Bean update or the buggy horrible Jelly Bean? If this is the horrible update, then could you possibly tell me the update id for the good update so I can chase up optus.
Also is there any way to restore to ICS with a rom (My phone is locked to Optus AU) as my CWM Backup says MD5 sum mismatch when I try to do a backup.
I have to relock my bootloader and update then unlock it again right?
Thanks,
Joe
(Sorry I asked some many questions, I'll try not to next time )

I have the 2.22.720.6 version update and as far as I have used, There isn't any bugs. Your update might be better (Or worse) cant say without testing.
To return to ICS after JB update, Follow this guide : http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2213663
If you are having the stock recovery, rom and kernel and using the OTA Software update from Phone Settings then no need to unlock/relock bootloader.

Just remembered that I flashed a 4.2 Google Apps zip with no nandroid backup, can I still update by just flashing stock recovery?
I'm sorry, but I think you have to return to complete stock by using a nandroid backup by someone with the same CID like you. Or wait for S-OFF. But that can be a long time...

So if I went ahead, flashed stock recovery and updated, even with the flashed 4.2 GApps, what would happened.
P.S. If of any use, after I flashed the zip (6 Months Ago) and found I could not go back I panicked and relocked the boot loader and obviously the G Apps were still there, but the phone was still functional. When I realised what I had done was unreversable and unlocked the boot loader again.
Thanks,
Joe
I think you will get a sha1sum mismatch error while trying to update, but you can still try

As requested by a few people here is the backup for HTC One X+ on O2 UK. It is blank and if necessary I can try and write a guide on how to restore the phone to stock.

The only way to get back to your stock, would be to reset you unlocked bootloader, s-on, and your original CID. If you´ll be patient, more DEVs will arrive. We are only a small group at the moment. I have a friend working on a rom right now. But you could try Navalynt's Optimized Base... give it a try. It should work. Make sure that you have the newest recovery, I personally use TWRP

Your backup should be in /data/media (sdcard) which does not format when you format data.

htc one max back to stock
Hi, I have a little question. So I have a t6ul Telekom. It is s off with firewater an twrp recovery. I will go back to stock but not with telekom branding. Yes I have the original backup. So actually I use the HTC Rom from neo. It's international on 4.3 I think and very small. When I change the cid to HTC worldwide set the HTC per fastboot to lock an s on also flash the original recovery (I do not know the HTC Germany cid and where I get the correct original recovery), so it is possible to get the normal updates of HTC, eg the new android 5.0. And it is possible after that to gain root again?
so i just made an EPIC FAIL.
i got my m9 and rooted it. great!
then i somehow ended up on the international forum and downloaded (and flashed) an international rom. Wouldn't you know that there's no data.
so aside from being an complete idiot i'm in desperate need of any Sprint M9 Rom or the Factory RUU.
ANYONE?!!?

If flashing a rom will fix it, there will probs be one in a few days. If you need a RUU... You're in for a wait... Keep your eyes on my thread here; I'll update it as soon as a RUU or rom is available!
