Hi! I've just used V6SC script for a few days and It's great. Everything is good except Link2SD. After install V6SC, Link2SD can't relink at boot. I tried uninstall V6SC and then Link2SD continous working at boot.
I'm using Gionne Pionner 3G with 2.3 OS (it almost likes Micromax A52).
If you can't help, could you quote my post to the V6SC development thread?
Thanks!
/English is not my language and my english is very bad. Sorry about it!

Its a pain in the a**, because cm7 data partition is big enough already, and now i can't even use a2sd, space is very limited
Try repartitioning

Done. Twice. Problem Still persists, although the partitioning was done by cwm 5.0.2.6, so imma try on the official one again
Yup, I have problems too with a2sd. My ext4 partition on SD corrupt and because ext4 inherited ext2 so fsck take a long time to recover.
I wish somebody add more fs support like jffs or another journaling fs that suitable to android.
Hello everybody. Here's my problem.
I wanted to deactivate swap in A2sdGUI but once i unchecked it and rebooted I found out swap was active again, and the box saying "Apps are on SD-Ext" had disappeared. I can still see the "Apps are on Internal Memory" box unchecked, and I can see all of my apps, all of them working.
Is there a solution to this? Or shall I re-flash my ROM?
I'm on GLSMT 2.1, KPO base.
Thank you in advance.
I deleted Swap partition and now it doesn't see it, that's good.
But I still can't see the "Apps are on SD-EXT" box, everything is working though.
I tried typing "a2sd repair" on terminal emulator but nothing changed...
Once you activate swap , the apps will automatically be transferred to the sd-ext partition . Furthermore , this is better actually

Oh well, that sounds good! ^^ Hitted Thanks!
Ok I was wrong. Apps are back on internal memory.
I have a CWM backup, in which there is the only difference that I was using swap.
If I restore that backup, will it be ok and solve the A2sd issue, or the fact of NOT having a swap partition anymore on sd will cause the same problem to appear?
Thanks in advance.

Try reflash dta2sd script first?
Oh geez... Too late. Already going on with last recovery image. Let's hope it works! ^^
Btw, in the case of another similar situation, how to reflash a2sd script?
I didn't do it on myself the first time, because GLSMT rom had it already set.
Ok restoring worked!

There is already a thread about ics cwm but it can't mount system. In other words you can't install a custom rom. Bad luck. With this kernel can you mount system?

I enter recovery and mounts
it says this
unmount / cache
unmount /data
unmount/system
mount /sdcard
format cache
bla bla
now if i hit unmount /system it says error unmounting /system!
so system is already unmounted ...but cant mount? think its normal to have error on mount

I have read somewhere and also experienced that performance of the phone decreases when we use link2sd... Is there a similar alternative cz I have loadss of apps and internal storage is not enough!
But the sudden lags even on apps stored on internal memory are dissapointing...
Thanks!

that should be in Q&A forum
and no there isn't ,Link2SD is the best i have experienced ,with overclocking there's no lag
dont use link2sd just use IN2EXT4+ here:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1716124
no apps needed. Just a kernel that supports ext4
Link2SD is more versatile and fast!

Link2SD is more versatile and is fast, Link2SD has a good graphical interface and works with ext2, ext3 and ext4 partitions formats, also, you have the choice not to move an app if your want and so on. It only makes slow when copying files to the SD Card there's no way around this as SD cards are normally slower that internal memory, you could buy a class 10 card or bigger for better performance.

no issues at all. Just flash it AFTER FLASHING ROM and set permissions of script to 755. Dont forget to wipe sd-ext after flashing the script
You can use Titanium Backup on ur rooted phone and can easily move apps to SD. No issues for me so far.

Hi,
I've updated to JB, kept my root etc., and now the only thing that is missing for me is the ext/internal SD swap. I tried both the SManager script version and the vold.fstab version, but I don't get it to work.
It's like I can do anything (both int and ext point towards external, both int and ext point towards internal, both are acting "normally") except what I want :/
Is there anyone who can try to make this work? I'd do it myself, but looks like I'm too nooby for it.
Thanks
