You can try Succulent's flash_stock_1.4.2.zip posted at https://github.com/succulent/acclaim_recovery_sdcard.

If you get the red x during the repart it's usually a sign one of the internal partitions could be messed up. Not always the case though. Maybe it's the version you were flashing.
Did you try changing the internal partitions in any way? During the process of SD boot did you use the zip file that had SD boot setup?

i rememberd that a few weeks ago i got it worked and installed MIUI on the internal, so i guess it is not a lost fight

Well if all you care about is android jelly bean just use and SD image.
http://iamafanof.wordpress.com/2012/11/18/cm10-0-jellybean-sdcard-img-for-nook-tablet/
Its simple to use, just write the image to an SD card and you're good.
Stock bn sucks, a lot in my opinion. I expected so much more when I bought it. Reason why I run an SD image. If you want nook books just download the app from Google play.

You can download the whole folder (the bulk of it size-wise is the 1.4.2 stock ROM zip file) by clicking on the "ZIP" tab.

[Q] Dual Boot Help

I've searched and i haven't. Really found anything explaining how to dual boot the nt. I have already rooted it internally using this method. But I'm not 100% sure how to dual boot. Any help and explanations are appreciated.
Which two ROMs do you want to dual boot?
I would like to use my cm9 and cm7. But stock nt would be fine too.
You can do CM9/CM7. However, you must flash CM9 internal and run CM7 from SD.
So firstly, go ahead and flash the latest CM9 normally using CWM.
Then write the CM7 SD Version .img to your SD card. After that's done, go to the first partition of your SD card and replace the flashing_boot.img with Cyanoboot's flashing_boot.img.
That way, when you boot with the SD in your NT, you have access to the Cyanoboot boot loader and can choose which ROM you want to run.
At least, this is the way I did it, and it has worked for me since the CM9 release.
Thank you so much. This is a huge help!!
No problem. Report back if you have any issues.
I wrote the image to sd card, then it formated, where do i download cynoboot bootloader? And where is the file i need to replace? Sorry, ive never done any of this before.
would it be a similar process to do 1.4.x and CM7 or CM9
I'm guessing yes, as long as you can burn img to sd card. I got cynoboot. But now it says that i have bad boot image magic (in memory) it wont let me boot.

What did you mean here? "then it formatted"
After i burn the sdcard it tells me. To format it. Ill retry the burn then i wont format and see what happens

By formatting, you might have erased the data on the boot partition of the SD card.
Moral of the story: Never trust Windows. It's always trying to mess up what you're actually trying to do.
When I don't format my nook says the card is damaged. Thanks for your help buddy. I'll just start trying to fix the problems I've found in cm9. Thanks.

Okay. I'm not sure why it wants you to format. It shouldn't need you to do anymore more to the card. Oh well.

[Q] Small Problem Concerning Corrpted Internal Storage.

Hello everyone,
I had previously rooted my original evo a while back and recently got the new evo lte, and thought "Oh I can root this all by myself." Big mistake
Okay, so, I made sure to unlock it using the HTC dev. Then downloaded Rom Manager and tried to put the new cm10 rom but for some reason it was coming up with sd errors. So, I looked up what could possibly be the cause behind that, which I thought was the previous Rom Manager data from the old evo. So I deleted it and well had the same problem. I also made sure to do the Hboot fastboot thing too.
Then I download the TWRP recovery and things took a turn for the worst. Now my external/internal storage is unreadable to twrp, ironically so, I can still use the USB for the sd.
I tried other roms, but it won't load them
Now, my os is gone and I just don't know what to do. At very least I can still use fastboot, but I really just unsure how I can well make it work.
so stat wise it says
tampered/unlocked
S-ON RL
Hboot 1.15
Radio 1.05.11.0606
OpenDSP-v25. 1.032.0405
I am also running a mac.
So, if anyone can set me in the right direction, that would be super.
For one reason or another some users have problems flashing cmx and corrupting internal. Boot to twrp and mount as USB then format it in OSX.

Thank you for replying. So I want to mount the internal storage and format it in Fat32?
Also, when I go to the mounting menu, it will not let me press "Mount Internal".
However, I can mount internal storage using USB storage method, I don't get it...
Selecting mount as usb storage is all you need to do, at the very least you should be able to do that, then format, fat 32 is the default so there is no need to specify fat 32
Format the top one, correct?
Sorry for the late reply, that should be it
No, Thank you.
So, I did reformat. It still cannot find the internal storage/SD storage.
So, can I push RUU through fastboot to return it to a functional state. All this for Jellybean, haha
I had almost the same thing happen to me over the weekend for the first time. I was about to reformat it in twrp and that worked great for me. So give that a try before you run a ruu

I already reformat the internal and it made no different. I also cannot reformat within twrp, it just says cannot find and fails.
I think I've misunderstood, if you reformatted and can not access memory from aosp Rom try flashing the sd rewrite fix
swap internal/external links

No no, I apologize. This is all terribly confusing.
So I will just fastboot it through terminal
/fastboot-mac flash zip blablah.zip
right?
No this is flashed through recovery

I don't know exactly know how I am going to do that, since the recovery does not recognized the internal/external storage. When I mounted via USB and put the zip on there, I cannot find it within the recovery.
Odd, after reformatting you should be able to use the internal again

Yes. Sadly I don't think reformatting did anything. At this point, I am unsure what to do. Can I even still flash a RUU?

I'm coming into this late but I recently experienced corrupted internal storage while running cmx as well. While I could not choose to mount the external storage, I somehow was able to select that bubble when in the restore menu. I restored an old meanrom and it rebuilt the internal storage despite losing the data. Not sure if this info will help you at all, but figured I would share. Good luck.

No, thank you for input. Sadly, since this a very new phone, I have nothing to restore it to. As, I was unable to make a back up for this all happened. But I am sure if I did have one it would get me out of this rut.

So when you flash a new rom from twrp, what happens? Are you flashing the kernel beforehand too since you are s-on?

When I was able to flash a new rom [as I am now unable to really access my sd card] it would install it, however, it would boot past the the splash screen and would go black. I didn't think I had to flash the kernel before hand, perhaps that was my problem.

SD Boot of Stock 1.4.3?

I'm looking for the reversal of most guides out there, I want to run cm10 on internal emmc but want to have a bootable stock 1.4.3 of the NT software. I know I can have a backup of it and switch back and forth by flashing cwm then recovering the image, but that is so troublesome.

Can't have nook stock boot on a SD card, sorry. You can run cm10 on a boot able SD card though so it doesn't touch the internal storage.
Thanks for the reply, thats too bad but out of curiosity, aren't the concept pretty much the same?

Somewhat similar. Maybe it will happen some day, but as of now there are no ROMs for external.

[Q] CM7 Upgrade help

I have been using CM7 for quite a while now and recently it this week I have been unable to add apps or even update the ones i had. I would like to move on to a newer version one perhaps a little more stable than the rom i have been using as this one was a fairly early version. I tried the raywaldo reset to stock using a repart cart and it will not boot off the card. It always loads the Team-b CM 7 boot process. I can get to CWM via the reboot option. Is there a reason the repart.img isnt loading? WTF am I doing wrong here???

Check your SD card space. If it is none, get a new one and it should work. You need an SD card to download anything.
I have a 4gb and a 32gb card tried both.
Burn the repart.img to the 4GB card, pop it in the Tablet (powered up), insert the charger cable, connected to the charger and hopefully the repart will start.

The process of flashing a custom ROM does not need/use any component of the stock ROM, and a custom ROM replaces the stock ROM in its entirety on the NT active partitions, hence there is no benefit in returning to stock prior to flashing a custom ROM; see http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=37515697&postcount=31 for some more background info.

Flashed CM11 (or any AOSP rom) and my sd card contents won't show up!

I am unlocked, rooted, and s-off. I've been flashing back and forth between Sense Roms and everything has been working fine.
Last night, I decided to play around with AOSP Roms. I flashed 2, and either one won't show my SD Card contents in the Rom (or when I connect the phone via cable to my laptop.)
But here's the tricky part, when I flash another Sense Rom, everything is there!
So obviously something is going on. Any ideas what?
My guess is something to do with the way it's formatted (ExFat vs FAT32) but, honestly, I have no idea. Any help??
I've had that happen I don't think it the different rom. Although sometimes I half to reflash to my phone..
Have you tried sideload?
