Can you enter fastboot mode?

As my past experience of brick phone is repair it using SUS or PC Companion but if your phone locked bootloader, OR maybe try to enter fastboot mode.

My past experience with a broken bootloader device is to send back to sony or a repair store. They have a type of cable call JTAG that connect directly to the device main board, then rewrite the bootloader! It cost me 15 bucks in a repair store and a couple of hours!

If you only flashed a kernel that's not meant for your phone, you must be able to enter fastboot mode.
- Plug your phone into your laptop or pc
- Press keys to do a reset (volume up + power key for 10seconds) on your phone
- Immediately after the vibration press volume up (the key to enter fastboot mode)
This should work for Sola too, it works for Xperia S

HI
i also had bricked my Sola few days back . then i read this thread on the forum and tried something a lil radical for from the various methods other friends suggested to unbrick and it worked and now i have normal working Sola with .184 fw . here is what is did .:
1.Press all 3 mechanical button on the device at the same time . Yess ! yess ! all 3 buttons, The Power button , and Both the Volume Up and Down buttons .
2.When u press all the 3 buttons the same time , the device should vibrate . One Long Vibrate and then a gap and then 2 short vibrations . Let the device vibrate like this .
3.Repeat the above procedure 3 times . ( press all the 3 buttons same time and hold untill the device vibrates 3 times
4.Once above is done , then hold the Volume Up (+) button up and connect the USB cable in .
5.The devices should boot in fastboot mode with the blue lite .
Once u have the Blue lite ... u are set to go and reflash the firmware using Flashtools or any other way .
I hope it works for u as well .

i cant get the device to boot into flashmode anymore.
there used to glow a green or blue led light when i connected the device in flash or fastboot mode.
at the current state all i can get is the red led on top to glow if i connect to charger or usb.
im willing to give the device away if someone wants to change for any working sony smartphone..

I have an unlocked bootloader. I tried using fastboot to flash the kernel.elf file in the JB rom zip file but it failed. It said my device had to be rooted and all but my device was already rooted. I used the flashboot fix specified in the thread attached below. It worked and i flashed a stock rom just to be safe and get a working phone.

You need unlocked bootloader or for locked bootloader this: WWW(DOT)play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.pvy.CWMinstaler&hl=cs
But, always you need root. It´s good for backups, installing ROMs and much more
Install x-parts from google play, start it, then hit Install CWM. Your phone must be rooted to do this.
I have installed it already guys!!!! After installing it said 'installation is complete please reboot and use the options'' how to use it further guys can anybody tell me???? All says, flash it via cwm but how flash any file????

Did you try rebooting into CWM?
Turn off the phone, then, turn it on again, when the sony logo comes up, wait abit for it to flash then spam the volume down button until it comes up.
If it still didn't work, spam the power button instead of volume down.

okay see what you should do exactly is that when you reboot your phone and the device turns on... as soon as you see the sony logo keep pressing the volume DOWN button and tadaaa you'll go to the cwm menu
if not keep pressing the volume DOWN button as soon as your phone vibrates after the reboot
click "THANKS" if it works
Try spamming volume up

When the phone is off and you hold down vol- while you connect the USB cable the phone enters flash mode and the small upper led is red while the bottom big led bar goes green. At least for me with a XT25i locked bootloader Xperia U.
So I would say, yes your phone is able to connect in flash mode. Just flash a stock ROM and you should be fine.
Thanks for the fast answer I will try it now.
