Hey i'm looking for a GPS app with offline maps for my xperia active. I used to use Sygic on my Samsung Galaxy Mini. But that really doesn't work on my XPERIA Active (it s*cks). I don't mind if it costs money. Cause my real gps started acting weird last vacation and Sygic saved my live. I would like to have all european country's with Croatia, Slovenian and so included. So if you guys know a good GPS app for my Active please post it down here.
(please don't recommend the stock gps app. I don't like it)

You can't start Navigon without internet...thats problem if you not use internet...
My friend had it installed and we we're in the center of town without wifi or data just with GPS antenna and we tested it... it worked, no problems

Just unlock ur bootloader n download the ics alpha rom! But u cant use it for daily purposes as the networks are disabled.

you can't just take settings.apk from ics system folder and paste it to your gb roms system folder and hope it will work...you born yesterday or what it will never work and nobody will backport it too cuz it's really hard...so just wait for an official ics build...be patient.

This is not how the modding scene works men,patience should be the no.1 thing in modding .And wait dude.I don't think anyone will back port this for you bcos this is simply pointless and a waste of time and energy.
Just flash the ice Rom butt if that's all you want best wait

Ohh.. is there issue wif GPS or GApps right on ROM's thread? You say Foursquare is ok to lock, and i think the problem not in kernel

Hmm, sorry. Yes. Within the zip file agps.patch.google.build.v3.1.zip in /META-INF/com/google/android/updater-script there is a plain:
delete("/system/etc/SuplRootCert");
delete("/system/etc/gps.conf");
where probably a rename or something else might have been better. Do you/should I report upstream?

Fixed this issue (GMaps Crash) by wiping data of GMaps and reenabling GPS Usage in the setting,And yes the Lock on is faster

I tried this patch because I couldn't get a lock using ulysse gizmos. It works, thanks for posting . I'm using Real ICS lite ROM with some of my own tweaks and Krsh v3 kernel.

before you do so it is good to first backup your system / app so that in the event that the original bug or not the backup app that you'd get in return by way of the restore again
