If you mean .gpk, NO
If you want to install .apk then YES.
How?
1. Copy the apk files you want to install to your phone
2. On your phone, Goto Settings - Security - Enable unknown sources (under Device Administration)
3. open "My files" or any other file explorer you have previously installed. My files is pre-installed on your phone.
- browse to the folder where you copied those apk files to (in step 1.)
- open each apk file, one after the other to install.
Done
Swyped from my Samsung Galaxy SII
Gpk files is something concered with audio files or something and has nothing to do with android http://www.fileinfo.com/extension/gpk
To install apk files u should check unkown sources in settings >> security ( ICS )
Or settings >> location and Security (GB)
actually there is some games that is formated to gpk the only diffrence is it has an installer that automatically put all the file in its destination like the sd files or data. thou you can you winzip or rar to extract it if you dont want to use the installer called 'thumb play installer'
another method - http://www.muzhiwan.com/
install the top right apk

Is it possible to install an apk via twrp?
Hi,
I have an android TV box which came with its own launcher, it has a default wallpaper but there is no option to change it. I have found the launcher apk in the pre install folder and extracted it with Apk easy tool and zipped it back and tried to install (app install by directly clicking it) but it wont install says failed then i put the apk in a firmware and zipped it with windows (send to compressed folder) and tried to install the firmware but it also failed.
Could anyone tell me whats wrong or any idea? or is there any software to change it directly ?
Thanks

Is there a way you can add apk package names to a file so when a user tries to install any of them, it fails with an error message that the app couldn't be installed?
Here is a patch for Android 10 but I don't know how to feed an external file eg. system/etc/blocked.xml to it so only those apps are blocked or fail to install but all other apps can still install normally.
Is there another way too to add the package names to block from being installed to the Android code itself so there isn't a system/etc/*.xml file they can see and easily delete.

If I remember this correctly, the signature of apk to be installed has to be the same as before if apk has been removed keeping the data. Now, rewrite the signature of the apk and install it and then uninstall keeping the data. That might make it harder to install that app in future...
