BOOTLOOP-GT I9001 with PAC-MAN ROM - Android Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Hey guys,
i hope you can help me. Yesterday i flashed the latest PAC-MAN ROM (http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1972936) on my SGS+. Then i wiped Cache and Dalvik Cache. I rebooted, and then came the problem: at the "Samsung Galaxy S Plus GT I9001 with cyanogen(mod)" screen. There it stucks, and after around 5 minutes it starts again rebooting and hangs at the same point.
What can I do to fix this? I am using CWM Recovery v6.0.1.0.
Can someone help me? Thank you very much for all replies in advance.

Solution: i just flashed cm10beta4 what was still on my phone. Can an admin close the thread?

I'm currently running liquidsmooth rc7 ROM and everything was fine till I got a call and couldnt answer.. had that "com.process. yadayada.com" error notification. I have no idea what's causing this? Is it the ROM? And if so what's a better jelly ROM in opinion for our i717's??? Please help and thanks in advance.

Do a clean wipe of everything and re-install or try one of the 4.2.1 builds in the development section. Both have been getting pretty good feedback.

PAC man rom - soft reboot (i9100)

Hello community. I have a problem with the pac man rom for my Samsung galaxy s2 (i9100).
Always when the screen turns off, a soft reboot happens. Updating to the newest nightly didn't help. So, is that a known issue or am I the only person, who recognized that?
It's pretty annoying, so I hope you can help me. I Googled a lot but couldn't find anything about that. So please don't flame me.....
Thank you

Is this only in nightlies?Have you tried the stable version? What kernel are you using?
26/6/2013 with dori 9.32 ok here.
No. Not only in nightlies. I first had a stable version, but somebody recommended me to try a nightly. As you see... Same problem. I didn't change the kernel when I came from cyanogenmod. I tried the dorimanx 9.13 with the stable version but it was even worse. Instead of a soft reboot, the screen stayed black and I couldn't do anything.
I can try dorimanx with the nightly but I don't think that that would solve the problem.

Ok, I tried nightly 29.06. with dori 9.33. Same problem. It's strange. Obviously nobody has the problem too.

1) go for a full wipe install.
2)stay on the stock kernel that comes with the rom for a while and see if u have any soft reboot issue.
Oh yes, I tried that in this moment, but with dorimanx and no soft reboot (woohoo). So the reason must hide anywhere in my user data. How can I find out where?
Thank you

its very diff to pin point exactly where the issue is ( may be some left over data of previous rom/kernel/mod/theme might be causing it
but the best solution during it is a Full wipe install
so for now u have a wrk'ng phone without any issue of soft reboots, so enjoy it
cheers!!!!
Ok I can explain it again.
I had cyanogenmod and thought it was cool to use these hybrid options. So I decided to flash pac man rom 23.0.0. I followed the installing instructions in the xda thread of the rom (including wipe data and cache and dalvik cache). After that I played a bit in the options and restored all my apps via titanium backup. But then I experience my first soft reboots. I didn't know why, couldn't find solutions in the Internet. So I tried another kernel: dorimanx. Now I still had soft reboots but without the bootanimation (only black screen).
Then the xda member bluefa1con said I should flash the newest nightly. I did but I still had the soft reboots. Today I wiped everything, flashed the pac man rom again and had no soft reboots (for at least one hour). Ok that's everything.
I don't want an empty phone without my data. I want to keep my apps. So is there a way to find out what's the reason for the soft boots except wiping and restoring app for app and waiting until I have soft reboots again? Maybe only root apps can cause this....
Thank you.
