[REQUEST] Faster Secphone! - Galaxy S Advance I9070 Themes and Apps

Hi,
I always hate the dialer screen of my S Advance! Even using Ex Dialer, I only can change my contacts list, but no dialer screen, and I hate it. For me is lazzy, lagging and with a old interface.
There are another secphone.apk for S Advance that I can install or flash?
I looking for it here in XDA but I can't find.
Thanks!

The only way you can get a faster SecPhone (didn't try but using common sense here) is have smaller images... i.e. using lower quality images or compressed images ( images like the keypad buttons, the top nav bar etc...) so they would load faster...
P.S. Your profile pic creeps me out.

Easiest way I know is to use the app folder organizer. It has an option to change the Icon. Then instead of putting the app on your screen, you put the folder organizer quick link to that app.

(request) 240 dpi stock dialer

Would anyone be able to upload the stock dialer without the yp mobile but one that is functional with the 240 dpi setting? I like the stock dialer and would prefer to not have to get a 3rd
Party dialer.

To my knowledge most 3Rd party look terrible too.
On topic: it is a work in progress for multiple devs. Dsmitty said he was working on it this weekend
Sweet thanks for the reply and awesome news

Just out of curiosity have you tried GoContacts? I think that dialer is very functional and combines contacts / dialer into one app and does it well.

exDialer looks awesome at 240 and I like it better than stock too. Give it a whirl.
I would love 240 dpi stock dialer! Would love a stock-ish Rom with a 240 dpi base.
Edit: tried ex dialer and its serviceable until a modified stock version is available.

I'm pretty sure DAGr8 just added mdpi compatibility with RC7. I don't have time/wifi to dl and test at the moment but someone give it a try.

Alternatives to stock launcher or stock apps?

Hi...just interested to know if people are using any alternative launchers or alternative apps such as the messaging app as opposed to the stock stuff and WHY?

I use QuickPic instead of Gallery. Because you can hide folders and you don't get the network folders showing up.

Is that the paid version as i miss vertical grid scrolling option?
What about messaging apps...don't think the stock app offers privacy mode!

I switch from back and forth from stock to the Xperia s launcher. It runs smooth on this phone and looks great too.

Launcher app

Hey, I was wondering how do you add apps to the launcher at the bottom by the app drawer buttons the home screen? I took out messaging and internet by accident and now I don't know how to add it back, thanks

Just drop and drop when you are in home screen, so make sure the apps are on current home screen (I'm pretty sure I don't use TW launcher)

If you are still using the stock launcher, I would highly recommend to change it. You won't have to root just download it of the market. Best launcher for SIII is Nova. Try it, it will let you have 6 icons vertically on the screen and so much more.
Good luck

Just hold you're finger over the icon then slide it up to the top to delete then to replace hold finger on an empty space on home screen and then select the app you want close it then drag the icon to the desktop bar

Thanks for the hint with Next Launcher is the best that I used (beta v4): smooth animation and fast and no lag.
I use wit cm-7-20121125-NIGHTLY official Defy+ and no crash in 2 days.

Beware of the beta
I was at 1 step to flash the rom because of the Next Launcher, it was the single launcher that I have installed on my defy and beta time has ended and a message appear to buy the full version and no way to get rid of the message, I was luckly that i have borwser in the recent apps and for there I installed another launcher
