I'm currently in the process of porting MIUI.us v4.1 to our Note from the Galaxy SII (GT-I9100). Once I have it up and running I'll make the thread all pretty and whatnot..I have a build completed but it doesn't install (gives me a status7 error), so if anyone wants to look at it and make modifications or give me pointers (this is my first ROM port) you're welcome to it. I'm posting a link in the OP here.

I can't help but I will definitely try it out. Good Luck.
Status 7 error typically, it indicates that your recovery is outdated.

zefir738,
Edited the title of your OP to add "Work in Progress" and have moved to Development, good luck in your endeavors.
I've recently tried to port another ROM for Skyrocket to i717 too and got a status 7. My recovery is up to date. Think it has something to do with permissions in updater-script. This is my second attempt at porting. I tried porting Paranoid Android for the Infuse and only got it to the boot animation screen. Then someone else already built and posted the ROM so I gave up. Good luck on your port. Can't wait to give it a try.

Check updater script. Its trying to set permissions for invoke-as and TCP dump in xbin. Those files are missing from xbin.
For experimental purposes I deleted those lines in updater script and it installed and then went into boot loop. No status 7 errors.
Also there a symlink that seems out of place towards bottom of script.

Kind of a rotten thing to say. Even if he gets donations, the time it takes to make roms is not justified by a couple of people who donate 5$. We need all the devs we can get dude. Let's not chase them off with a lack of appreciation. Plenty of devs develop roms without said devices.

Hey, thanks for helping out and doing these builds for us. I just wanted to ask if the newest version of HALO could be integrated into a stable (or nightly) version of Vanilla Rootbox. The most recent version has a few changes that, in my opinion, make the feature much easier to use.

Yes you are right. I didn't realise at the time AT&T have their own forum and with it been posted in the N7100 forum I shared on here. Ive been flashing some of their roms over the past few days and currently trying Jedi and seems to be working great apart from slight battery drain which of course would be put right with a kernal from our section.

Yes the battery drain is a huge hit to the face imo so i always advise people to flash a proper kernel. Yes the i317 and the n7105 are very very similar and they will work for each other...but always beware of that cause it can lead to a bricked device on rare occasion if the proper steps are not taken
