Hi. I own a SanDisk 64 gb class 10 micro sd card, in which i had my backups, rom zips, pictures and everything. I have been switching between jellybeans rom and carbon rom. Now i can't write on the sd card. The recovery can't backup in the sdcard, titanium can't make backups either, camera can't save pictures, when i download something from Internet directly to the sdcard it disappears when i look for it. I have tried to format it in the computer but fails. I have used 3rd party softwares to try to format it and they say format completed but when i go to thr sdcard all thr files are still there. I have manually deleted everything and when i go inside the sdcard all the files are still there. What can i do?

Sounds like your sd card is today. I seen somewhere where other people were having similar issues and they contacted Sandisk and got a new card.

Wow this is crazy that you just made this tread. I am having the same problem with my 64g sandisk card. The only problem I have with mine is when I download something from the internet I can see it in the doqnload folder on twrp when I go to flash it, but when im in a file manager my download folder is empty. Very strange idk what the issue is. I just formatted it to fat32 last nite and had no problems with it, but this problem was happening before I formatted it so thats not the issue. Any ideas?

I have had 2 Sandisk micro sdcards. Both died. Don't get it.

I have a 64gb swapped in my n2 & n10.1. Only problem is I need more room.
Also certain kernels require certain formats. That's about the only issue I've seen....

The one in my n2 I used before in my razr maxx so its about a year old.. over 300 apps installed, HD games, GPS maps, nandroids, music.. I prefer class 10

That's strange. I had to actually purchase a USB reader to format mine once I was extfat to get back to Fat32. Maybe try a FULL format and not "Quick", I have no ideas left.
Google it.

I got a verizon s4 mj7 about a week ago, transfered my 32gb micro sd card from my old phone to the s4 and since the transfer I've had issues with it randomly disconnecting from phone then reconnects shortly after like its being pulled while in use then reinserted. Any ideas as to what could be the issue? Should I wipe the sd card and reformat it?

The only time I've seen this is with a sdcard that was going bad. You could try reformatting (I did), but it likely won't help.
After I replaced mine with a new card, it's been working fine. And the bad one doesn't consistently work on my Mac, either.
Is your card a sandisk card? 32gb and 64 had a bad batch for awhile..

Yep...I'm about to do mine..just explain that your card unmounts... That you got it last Christmas... They'll ask you what phone its been in...which has had the problems...etc...

Yea I just sent a product email explaining how it intermittently did it while in my old phone and since upgrading does it at least once or twice a day now. Hopefully I'll get a fresh new one, maybe they'll even comp me a 64gb haha. Thanks for the info.

I was just wondering if anyone else have had the same problem and what did you do to fix. I have tried to reformatting it and still nothing. Some times it will read it but most time it will not

Try cleaning the contacts of the new sd card with a Q-tip and alcohol. I had a new sd card that was having trouble being read so I cleaned it and never had problems again!

Fat32 is the format type of the sd card. Ntfs is the other common one.
How do I find out which one and is it only on the computer?
