Hey buddies, I've got my xperia go 3 weeks ago and I've unlock bootloader tried some roms. but now I have a very serious problems with phone camera. It's not available. I've tested in many roms, stock, or even use SU, and PC compinion but no help at all. I remember the last rom i've use is MIUI base on CM9. now I have no idea on what's wrng with that phone camera.

It might sound like a no-brainer, but have you tried to clear the camera data and restart your phone?
It happened to me before and that did it.
I have no idea on what to do now, Clear everything=> still not working, PC Companion=> not working, Sony Update Service+ not working at all. even Flashtool, i've tried all the ftf i can find for my Go but no luck. ... anyone give me a suggestion?
1. try to wipe everthing on your sd card
2. flash this with flashtools http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2112716
3. rolock bootlouder with flashtools http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1799005
4. boot up
5. see if it works now

do you get messagebox? or combobox is empty?
some times adb need's to be restarted i don't know why but this does that...
i have used on my rom an it works great..
the new one found my phone.

Not working with 2.1.1.A.0.6 adb remains open and program freezes combo box never filled.
I tried clossing the adb process, then it restarts but never fill the combo box..

I have a I9100G and every time I try to open the camera app after a few seconds shows the error camera failed.
I didn't install any rom or application, the device is like brand new with original software, firmware and kernel. I have already search a solution in the forum and follow these guide: [Guide]Solve your camera failure SGS 2 I9100G version and try to wipe all data from the recovery mode without any results.
But if I enter this code *#34971539# to enter in the camera flash menu and choose the first option I have this screen:

So probably it needs a camera firmware reflash but I can't find the download. It seems there is no firmware nor in the camera neither in the phone.

With that out of the way i still want to ask for help.
I bought a Z2 two days ago and wanted to throw on the Cyanogen M9 Snapshot. It^s my first time with android and my first time
modding my phone. Maybe a little too much first times
I followed all the steps aka unlocking the phone ... recovery mode ... wipe previous data ... and loaded the Cyanogen M9 snapshot.
After Reboot i ended up in BootLoop and started checking for errors ... what i found was that my wipe didnt work. This is the message i get

recover your device through this for now, back to stock
im not sure what recovery you used but try using this one as there should be no problems with anything system related, you need to use flashtool from flashtool.net to flash this

I just bought a sony xperia Z5compact from another guy that barely used it. He gave it to me with apparently, a stock ROM. But I dont know if the other guy did anything on the phone like rooting, unlocking, whatever.
But now I want to update from 6.0 to 6.0.1 and I cant do it. Neither in the phone, nor with the computer coz I get this error:

I checked more, and the phone has TWRP recovery and an Androdplus kernel. So it has been modified, but I dont know how to check the status of the bootloader or if it rooted.
I want to update the phone to 6.0.1. and I would like to have a stock rom and a locked bootloader. (because I read that custom rom and unlocking bootloader affect to the function of the camera).
How can I do it?

this happens when the objetive moves a little. only happens in app xioami, this didnt happen on instagram,whatsapp,messenger,gcam,etc. only with xiaomi app, and i dont want to change to gcam, i want a solution for this if this exist.

1.Go at the settings/applications /search for camera and delete the data storage for that application (clear data/cache) you should fix now that.
2.If that won't help you maybe you should reflash your Rom again. Using miflash tool.
3. Before you flash the Rom must try to perform a factory reset, maybe this will help you.
Just fallow the steps from 1 to 3
If nothing of them work's your secondary camera is broken. (the 5 MB camera used for stability and focus) That applications you mentioned does not use the 2nd camera ever. Only the official camera can do that.
You can try also a software upgrate/downgrade.. From Android 9 to 10, from 10 to 9, or from 9 to 8.
