He is. Check out the Super LTE SVN thread in the development section. It will be the base ROM for Warm.

I c two android developement forums for the LTE....one is sprint htc EVO 4g LTE android developement while the other being HTC EVO 4g LTE ORIGIONAL android developement. What's the difference between the two as I downloaded viper 4g last nite off the origional and have yet to have problems and have only used the Roms from the android developement forum that don't say origional. I'm confused on the matter.

I'm coming from a HTC one v and I see that is a little more harder to flash a ROM on evo v 4g without out worrying about messing up the radio and the firmwire. Can you let me know ?

This forum might be a good resource for you since there is no Evo V 4G specific forum on XDA.
I have a guide here that will help you get root and S-OFF for the Evo V if you haven't done that already.

It's been out for a while, I am on almost 3 weeks and to add, for me it's pretty flawless even without BT but link for discussion has all the details.

I also believe that the evolte is scheduled for a sense 5 update. So I'm sticking around for the next set of HTC phones. I might even leave Sprint... I won't see any 4g in my area any time soon, and 3g is not the best.

I thought the same, as my town wasn't even on the list for any time soon, but I now have LTE. I think sprint is working hard to compete. Mobile tech is basically the most lucrative field to be in. They're hungry.

Should I root my EVO?

If you have to ask then probably not just my .02
^This.
Also depends on what you plan on doing with your phone. If you're content with the way your phone is now, no. If you want to extend the performance of your phone and you're willing to take some time to read and learn, have at it

Well I've rooted phones before HTC aria, Sony x10i, samsung transform, htc EVO 4g, EVO shift, and the EVO 3d, didn't get to root my LG viper but anyways, I'm bored of stock and its like implanted in me once i do it I'll start flashing rom after rom , my question is is it worth it ?
Sent from my EVO using xda premium
As Fin said it depends what you are looking to do.
Also development is kinda slow right now some devs have moved on to the One but...it may pick up if/when the Evo LTE gets an update which is supposed to happen but who knows what HTC/Sprint has in mind
To answer your other question, yes, it's worth it. There are plenty of ROM's to choose from. There are custom kernels and tons of other things to customize your phone to your liking. There are also methods to gain S-off for every Hboot, so no worries there

Wouldn't be so bad if they would go ahead and release the new update maybe wouldn't plan on rooting but they drag ass too much

Go for it, once you live in the darkness (root), you can never go back to the light (stock)...

142 is the latest, although there is no download link to it. You have to use SVN or the terminal emulator script to update to that version. The changes between 141 & 142 were very minor.

There is only one Sense 5 port and it's pretty much a daily driver if you don't care about Bluetooth being broken and no audio when using Netflix. Try it out.
