Does the international One X + have got LTE support ?
Slowly the networks are going to support it and i'm curious.
Nope, it doesn't.
Then why does the HTC website tells us it is supported in "some" country's ?
Its just a no then ):
I believe they are talking about both the versions of 1x+. For example the att version is only 4g LTE. Where as the international is only hspa (I think).

I have an 02 HOX+ (so international version) gsmarena.com lists the HOX+ as supporting LTE but assume this is incorrect after reading the posts above?
Also does the international HOX+ support dc-hsdpa?
The international one has an Intel radio that supports DC-HSPA (if HTC didn't disable it)
EDIT: looked at the radio config, it's set to cat 14 (21Mb), DC-HSPA 42Mb is cat 24. before anyone asks, no, we can't change it, not without S-OFF anyway
The AT&T one has a Qualcomm radio that supports LTE

Thanks for clearing that up, gsmarena was giving me doubts

Hi,
I currently have an HTC Desire running on Puerto Rico's Open Mobile CDMA EvDo Rev. A network. It seems to me that the Galaxy S2 does support this network, and I had the Vibrant before and loved it, so I'm thinking about selling my phone for an S2.
Now, I've been searching info on how to configure / change carriers on the S2, as the phone is not available on mine. Haven't found that yet.
Anyone have a link / tutorial I can use?
Thanks!
The international sgs2 does not support CDMA, the sprint (USA) version of the sgs2 supports CDMA but you would have to check what bands your local carrier uses compared to sprint, and if you can activate an American phone on the network even if the bands match.

Thanks, I'll look into this!
So the AT&T LTE version of the One X+ has AWS 1700 MHz for LTE. Is it possible to flash a different radio and access the Tmobile 1700 HSPA+ network? The new Tmobile plans are certainly tempting.
Great question. I am thinking the same thing. ATT cost too much.
S-off is needed to flash radios if I remember correctly

Is anyone in one of the 8 Tmobile LTE launch markets? Their LTE is on 1700 I think, and the HTC page shows LTE frequencies being supported on 1700 for our phone. So even if we cant do HSPA+ 42, maybe we can get LTE? Im in atlanta so I cant test that.
Guess no one has tried

Anyone got the HTC Dev phone? (which is the same as AT&T version) and get it working in Asian countries like Hong Kong and Japan?
Isn't it just a matter of unlocking your sim and buying a local sim in Asia? Also, the frequency would need to be the same. According to the HTC One specs, the following bands are compatible with the phone:
Asia: 850/900/1900/2100 MHz with HSDPA up to 42 Mbps

The post above mine is correct. The dev edition should come out of box carrier unlocked. Its a matter of getting the sim card you need. Custom roms may be an issue though if they dont support the carrier you may have to find a way to enter apn settings manually.

If I buy a HTC one from Google and get the play edition will it work on att network and would I get all the hspa+ and lte on att including their new band 2 and 5 they just realeased ?
Or should I just use HTC one from att
?

Yes, it will work on the AT&T network. It'll work just as any AT&T device.
It is my understanding that only stock Sense roms have the new bands disabled (via a build prop line); so that should work as well.
Plus, you can always flash the AT&T radio if you want to compare the two.

it'll work, i did same here in the states...I had to call att to have them update IMEI in the system to get LTE as my phone was only getting HSPA (that was because there system was still seeing me using iphone4s )
I wanted to buy the One M8 unlocked instead of the ATT version.
Does anyone know if the unlocked version will be fully compatible with ATT LTE?
Thank you.
No its not compatible with LTE. It will only work with HSPA+

According to who? This is the first instance I've read of someone saying LTE won't work.
I have 2 units on order from HTC and everything I've read says the unlocked version will work on AT&T LTE.
Here's 2 examples...

http://www.phonedog.com/2014/03/26/...d-unlocked-models-now-available-for-purchase/
Yes, the unlocked version is definitely compatible with AT&T LTE.
If you look at the HTC website you will see in the description that both the Unlocked and Dev's Editions support LTE bands 4 and 17, which are the bands that AT&T uses.

My bad I misunderstood that he might talking about the international unlocked. I apologize!
