Hey guys,
I'm running JB 4.1.2 GSM and i don't have root.
I would like to install Cyanogenmod 10.1 but it seems like it isn't possible.
Does anyone know a way? Maybe via ADB flash ?
I'm pretty new to android, so if there is a way, i would be glad to have instructions for a noob
Thanks a lot!

to flash any sort of custom rom (aokp, cyanogenmod, etc) you need to be rooted. There is no other way to get a custom rom without root.
Okay...that's sad, but thank you for the answer though!

Hello guys, I have a question regarding this MIUI ROM
http://translate.google.co.in/trans...a=X&ei=XqZNUKyCCcXqrQey7IHQAg&ved=0CCIQ7gEwAA
check out the link and scroll down, Galaxy S3 i9300 is supported and is currently based on 4.1 Jellybean
I now wonder how I can install the rom to my S3, and what do I need to flash it.
I'm also curious about the ROM's bugs, is there any if ever? is it stable?
since this one came directly from MIUI devs, I thought this one would be better?
I really like the simplicity of the ROM, I also wonder if the its okay to flash the kernel fix in this rom so I will not have the Sudden death issue?
I hope you guys can answer all of my questions ~
thanks a lot in advance!
1) To install a custom rom you need custom recovery..clockworkmod recovery is the best...search in posts for cfroot+cwm(clockworkmod)..
Steps to install will be found in its official website
2)miui rom is an excellent..it is stable...few bugs will be there...even the official release has bugs...but a very few only..
3) kernel fix is safe and is recommended to prevent dead devices
Hope it helps...

It's not. You need to try them for yourself to decide which one is the best for you.
I prefer TWRP

That s true.
I like CWM better because of the sobriety.
TWRP is more feature-rich, but a little more messy UI wise, in my opinion
I am a new user to the Verzion S4. I have the M1 model and use safestrap for my recovery.
I am looking for a rom that is not TW and more like CM or Pacrom that will work with safestrap. Can anybody help with this?

Nope only touchwiz roms are compatible for now.

As far as my expertise goes, you'll have to flash Stock ROM inorder to get JB which means you will loose root..
And also, it's not very hard to root your phone on JB.. the whole process of flashing stock to JB and then rooting can't take more than 5-6 mins if you're prepared.

Use OTA root keeper from the playstore
Or.......search for chainfires mobile odin thread here on xda.
Download the app and the correct flashkernel....install both and use to flash the firmware you want.....don't forget to enable 'ever root'.

Hi all, thanks for reading.
Have not upgraded/flashed for quite some time.
I currently have Omega Rom v9 using 4.2.2
Wanting to upgrade to v19 on 4.3
Or v21.1 on 4.4.2
Is there anything I must know before doing this?
Do I download bootloader, modem and then flash with v21.1? Or I need something else?
Thank you for your time!

This is godforsakenly so vague that you couldn't possibly expect a helpful answer. For starters you didn't even state what device you have, only thing we know of this device is it's running a rom named Omega. You could start by replying with your device, perhaps it's specific model if there's multiple variants and pretty much anything else that would be relevant.

Hello everyone! I am new to the forums so my first post might be crappy.
I want to make a custom ROM to learn more about the android system.
For this I need a stock rooted 4.4.4 ROM for the S3.
Does anyone know where to find this?
Thanks in advance,
Daaniel

You will not find a stock rooted 4.4.4 rom let alone a debloated one.
