Have you ever build a rom.If not I think No.
You should PM the devs that release NAND ROM.

Guys, I am a noob and I very very interested building my own ROM for LG Optimus Sol. And I am targeting either CM10 or CM10.1. Our device is not officially supported by CM. (But unofficial builds are there CM9 and CM10). So can yoou guys give me some links from where I should start?
And I have installed Ubuntu 12.04 64 bit and with 100GB HDD partition. Is that well for building CM10/10.1?
Please guide me.
You guys rock!

pick any of the stock ROMS in the dev forums.
extract boot.img from the zip
flash it in fastboot.
I wanna install a custom kernel on a Cyanogenmod10.1 Rom. So I can overclock beyond 1.5Ghz. The problem is that I can't find any flashable zip or img file. I wanna be able to overclock to 1.7GHz at least, so I looked into buttered toast and Mac kernel. Not sure if they would work. But the main problem here is that the Mac kernel only provides a link to the source, and the only zip file Buttered Toast thread has is for the Aroma installer which doesn't work.
And I can't seem to find anything helpful on Google.
Any help will be appreciated.

I'm on CDMA. I'll look up that kernel you speak of. Thanks
EDIT: I can only find the source code. Is there any link you could provide me with of a flashable zip or boot. Img? If not, could you please tell me how to install it from the source code? Thanks
