I can't play videos from my wap browser, or with the application VLC or with the application Movies. I get an error saying that it couldn't play the video, whereas before I could. So now I have to use the YouTube app to see the videos, and thus will increase my mobile data consumption
What could be done to fix the problem?

Does anyone know why the youtube android app does not play videos in good quality while the web browser with flash 11.1 plays video in excellent quality even though both youtube videos are put to HD settings. The picture quality from the web browser is obviously much better then the youtube application.
Which ROM are you using?

I am playing mms streams from the web using Daroon Player. It is free and works fine.
But I also want to throw these streams to my TV (wdtvlive)
Daroon Player does not seem to be capable of throwing video anywhere.
Standard Sony Video Player can throw video. But it does not read mms streams from the web.
I tried several other media players from the Android Market like Mobo and VPlayer but they don't seem to work with mms either.
Any suggestions of a good free or paid media player that would handle both?
Hey guys,
So I have a 7510 (Wi-Fi only) with DaAwesome1's vanilla Honeycomb on it. I love watching videos on it, however my problem is that where I live, the fastest internet I can get is 1.5mbps. Therefore watching youtube videos at anything higher than 480p just simply isn't possible without letting it sit paused for a while to buffer.
When using the Youtube app on the Galaxy Tab, a video in "HD" just can't load fast enough for me to watch. It seems as though the video might be loading at 720p, therefore with my internet it keeps stopping. And without HD enabled, the video quality is so horrendous it just isn't watchable.
So my question, is there any way to edit a file that will force the Youtube app to use 360p or 480p with the HD option? The app itself does not have any setting to specifically pick which quality.
Any help would be much appreciated.
Thanks.
Can anyone help me out here?
Why not just use the website?
Well the website doesn't format the video that great in the browser. And also, when playing through the website, the video is a little laggy.
Hi is any way to stream my movies from my computer that is runing windows7 to my sgs2 i mean somthing like windows media server please help thank you ????

Use Samsung preinstalled Allshare... Only some video formats supported.. As usual, the folders on pc should be shared on the network..this should be done by installing Allshare on pc... Set it run on boot... Or have to launch each time when streaming
You can also give Skifta a go from the Play store.
File Expert: Free on the market
Dolphin Browser: Free on market
Rockplayer: Free on market.
File Expert can browse windows network shares via WiFi, dolphinbrowser opens them as a Stream, and Rockplayer plays them (Definitly AVI formats, which is all I use)
Works pretty smoothly on N class WiFi, I've watched several episodes of American dad and a few movies on it in the bath (waterproof cycle case FTW!)
Using ES file explorer from google play to get access to my shares and play the streams with MX Video-Player. Everything works fine for me. Even .mkvs in 720p over WiFi are looking great and playing without lags.

Hello, I do this too I think ES File Explorer + MX Video player will give a higher quality (since you're opening the file itself, instead of getting a limited bitrate video stream).
I think you could use VideoLAN (vlc) to stream video to a dedicated port or something, you can always google about it if you want.
Good luck.
Well sometimes I still use Windows Mobile 6 on my pocket pc
If I need to watch a Youtube video I just surf on m.youtube.com, I click on the video and then an external video player called Coreplayer automatically starts and I can watch the video (like any video stored in memory)
Is it possible to do this thing on Android? In which way?
