Any news on this? I'm a little hesitant flashing any foreign ROM. The inc2 has an "official" sense 3.6 leak from China and if you flashed something wrong it would mess up your phone pretty badly

The ROM can make people in other countries, the use of other SIM card, no roaming display and Verizon limit, tomorrow I upload a free roaming radio

Yes...you can run different kernels to over clock the phone or run homebase ROM.

hmmm photon 4g is the one best device but sad photon has not many developers like other devices this the thing that stop me to buy this phone but i will buy this soon after some research because here in Pakistan its cost 45000 in pakistani rupees which is big money .i m sure this device will not disappoint me
what you say guys about this
I say you whine in every thread I have seen you post in. About the same thing. If you are truly that unhappy buy an Epic Touch or an Evo 3D and quit trolling our forums. We all know there isn't a lot of Devs. But we stay. So do you need to point that out in every single thread?

So I just reread noms post. How are you gonna be happy with this phone when all you do is complain about lack of dev support no ROM's etc.
Sent from my Photon via XDA
You shouldn't buy a device solely on how much development is underway. Buy the phone that will fit your day-to-day needs. Right now, IMO, the Photon is one of the best phones on the market, and even though development is slow, we have in place the building blocks to make this phone so much more. To everyone that is being impatient, just get a different phone if you are unhappy.

ROM for easiest transition to GSM/CDMA

Hey all,
I'm headed to Korea this week and I was going to reflash my ROM to allow for GSM data. So I'm looking at the Venasaur (Charmander if it gets released in time) or MIUI. I'd still like to use it on CDMA until I leave, but easily switch it to GSM while in Korea for data usage.
What's the easiest/best of the two to use?
I'm currently on Scott's ICS Dev Edition as I prefer the stock ICS feel. I could put up with a theme for a couple weeks while I'm there though.
Otherwise, I'm using my old Captivate while I'm there as I know that'll work, but the GPS is practically unusable.
Thanks!
Super
Pretty sure you can run GSM on your current rom. Settings>Tweaks>Misc>Phone Info. The antennae selection is on that screen.
You can get gsm on any rom, its sending sms and a couple of other issues that only miui or any sense 4 rom work it out using the gsm fix patch.
I'd say use miui, both cdma and gsm is working out of the box with cdma sms sendung being the only issue.

Thanks.
Data's the big concern. I don't plan on using voice too much, if at all on this trip. I mainly want data for Internet, GPS and translation.
Have people been able to use data without trouble on other ROMs besides those two?

That RUU came from the last official update, so it SHOULD work fine. But when you usewords like "perfectly" then all bets are off..

Stock HTC Rom

Would it be possible to flash a stock (original from HTC - for example the 32gb unlocked rom) on a At&t HTC One without rooting?
My company uses Good Enterprise and it won't work on a rooted phone so I'm debating on getting the At&t HTC One (I'm up for an update and can get it for 199) or just get the unlocked version from HTC?
At&t takes FOREVER with updates and I just don't want to deal with that again (possibly wait 5-6 months before At&t releases 4.2.2)
You probably are better off with the international version if you can afford it

I'm think of buying the AT&T HTC one but I just want the plain google stock rom just like the version that release on the 26th. I just want to conform that you have had success in replacing rom with a genuine HTC stick international version on a AT&T htc one? What did you need to do to achieve this if you don't mind sharing. I tried access your links but they dot appear to be working because they look to be truncated.

i live in miami, fl and the most i've gotten on at&t 4G LTE on the ONE is 12mpbs d/l

so this is a link to the stock OEM rom which is not rooted. what do i have to do to replace my at&t rom with this? also in the future, how would i go about installing the updates?
again, at the end of the day, Good Enterprises does a quick check to make sure the phone is not rooted, so no matter what i do, the phone cannot be rooted. if i have to root, flash something which results in the phone going back to non-rooted, that's fine, i just want to understand what's needed before i get started
edit:
can't i flash the stock rom which would have come on the unlocked htc one if i had just gotten that instead?

Hey Thanks for this info! Made life easy.
Now I'm trying to s-off and the guide under HTC one, says push the revone file and try to execute it. But i'm getting permission denied in the ADB shell. Does that mean my super user is not working? Also when I am running different apps, the SU permission pop up doesn't come on. Rather the superuser file in this rom is not doing anything.
Any help?

OK so I have a few questions and this is the best place I've found to ask so I'd be very happy if someone could help. First let me sway I'm bouncing between the normal and Google edition for tmo. Now I've read on Engadget that the Google edition fires not support AWS for tmo. I'm in Chicago and I'm sure if LTE is not here and strong it will be soon so my question is: For the normal version of the HTC ONE on tmo can if you flash an AOSP ROM does LTE and AWS work? Wouldn't that be the smarter thing to do than buy the Google edition and not get AWS support? I mean obviously you would want to be on LTE but in spots where you don't get it it would suck to go all the way down to 3g. Also is the link for this thread to a Google edition ROM that is the same as the ROM on the actual Google edition phone? Thank you very much whoever can help me out.

Try downloading again and flashing. It might have had an issue with Google Drive?

That worked, weird, file size was the same and all. Will report back in a few. Easy for me to test signal here since I get really good LTE with Nexus inside my house and on and off with HTC One.

OrDroid 8.2.1. It is 4.2 bsaed. Yea, it displays same as yours when I boot into Bootloader . Sucks really. I got a Nokia Lumia 925 for free through work today! Woo, except for it is barely better with LTE than HTC One is. I am comparing both of them to Nexus 4 and S4 on LTE, both are so much better at handling it. Like I never lose it at my place, nor when I am at my gym, or anywhere else. On Lumia it does have higher signal strength than HTC One, but it still loses signal in same areas sadly. I was hoping this Radio update would have addressed it, maybe there is something else in the firmware file..?

Hmm.. Thanks for uploading, but my girlfriends one with the full new firmware package is definitely getting better reception than mine with just the new radio.

Although I will say mine is holding LTE better now.
Maybe another part of the TMO update was just to make bars seem better?
I definitely have to say that I've never noticed such sizable improvement on a radio update on any other phone [that I've owned] than this one we just got. T-Mo and anyone else involved did a great job. I'm picking up 3 bars LTE in my home were before I would get sporadic and faded LTE service.
Ignore
