I was just wondering if you flash a new ROM is it necessary to flash a kernel right after? I just recently flashed the ICS port on my Nexus S and I was wondering if I have to flash my kernel again. Thanks
No, you do not have to flash a kernel after flashing a rom. Plus, using that rom (which is in its very early stages), it's not recommended that you flash anything on it.

...or you want better performance and many new features.
I had Custom ROM MIUI v 2.3.23 but when i wonted to update to version 2.3.3 so i tried. But i got an ERROR that said that the SD card could not be mounted, so i tried to reinstall the kernel. I used CF-Root-SGS2_XW_NEE_KI8-v4.3-CWM4.zip, and when it was finished the phone restarted but it stopped on the loading screen. What should i do?
Here is a picture of the original ROM (It is in Norwegian)

Hi,
I have used this rom for almost a day now. There are no bugs whatsoever. It is really stable. Didn't notice any battery drains either. best suitable for a daily driver.
About, the bootloop issue, try to reflash the rom again according to the instructions in the Rom Thread.
Wipe data, Wipe cache, Wipe dalvik, Format System and flash rom. Don't flash any patches provided in the thread. Since the rom is pre-rooted, i dont think you need to flash the stock rom using SP flash tools and then flash this rom.
P.S.: I used TWRP recovery to flash this. Not CWM. Try flashing the ROM using TWRP.
Cheers!

You know how to install twrp in rooting process ryt?
Download OTA update manually through their site.
Flash it through twrp then wipe cache/dalvik only.
Oh and twrp/rooting will be gone after updating so you have to install them again.
Would you suggest me flashing lineage rom , do you think is better than miui stock regarding battery and performances ?
