[Q] Running XBMC at 1080p in Webtop Mode - Motorola Droid RAZR

I have set my RAZR to be 1080p 60 Hz in the HDMI setting and when I plug in the HDMI cable and select 'Webtop' mode it looks like it might be in 1080p. But when I run XBMC it reports the user interface resolution to be something like 10xx by 6xx (will update exact resolution when I can) which is higher than the RAZRs 540 x 960 but lower than 1080p.
Is there a way to get XBMC (and other apps) to run in 1080p?
I am running Android 4.1.2 (http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2213422)

[Q] LgCamera ISO issue!

I have LgCamera Pro on my I9100G and I noticed something. When the device in 1920x1080 resolution for video recording I can't change ISO. Its stuck to auto. It shows ISO 100...1600 etc... but behaving as auto. In 1280x720 its ok. Even changing encoder or video format its same. By the way not much difference I see between hd ready and full hd in video for this phone. I think 1280x720 is better its also have wider angle in recording than 1920x1080. Any thoughts?

How do i fix .21 hdmi?

After the .21 update there is scaling now which i love because i could never get full screen on my 1080 tv. but now when i plug in the hdmi in to my 720 tv the status bar shows on the tv, changing the ratio to 16:10 (i think) leaving bars on the side and when i go into the hdmi settings, there is no settings to fix it. anyone had this problem?
But movies do play fullscreen?!?!

[Q] Change aspect ratio of MHL output?

Having an unusual problem with outputting my AT&T Galaxy S2 (stock rom) over MHL to my television. Most stuff looks fine and is properly mirrored, but a couple of video streaming apps I use have an odd aspect ratio problem. Instead of mirroring exactly what's on my phone's screen, which looks fine, the video on my TV is forced to 4:3. (Not a big Netflix user, so this isn't one of the problem apps.) My TV doesn't have very many aspect ratio options, so the only change I can make there actually doubles the size of the black pillars. Is there anyway to fix this? Another thing I've noticed is that when it's outputting this way, the notification bar is still visible on my phone's screen, but it disappears on the TV.

HDMI out -> DVI-D set resolution to 1280x1024 from 1280×720

I am using Measy U2A Dual-core Mini PC dongle with original Android 4.1 and Compaq 1720 monitor which offers 1280x1024 resolution. I am using a HDMI to DVI-D passive converter to connect the monitor. I do get 1280x720 resolution so the screen look like stretched vertically.
Is there any easy way to change the resolution to 1280x1024 which will make it more appropriate?
I tried changing in the Screen -> HDMI Mode -> 1280x720P but there is no option for 1280x1024.

Change aspect ratio for HDMI output (root possible)?

I got an old Samsung S8 with some widescreen display, now I want to connect it to a 4k tv but I would like to use the whole screenspace without black bars. So can I set my phone to output 16:9. Maybe using Tasker?
Ok I got it done. Using Tasker with "run shell":
wm size 2160x3840
dont forget to check "use root" puts the device in 16:9, and I'm using the external screen resolution here, If I do something like HD it will only output HD and I want to have it in 4k.
Going back works with the internal screen settings menu or you create another task with the devices original resolution and aspect ratio.
Also combines nicly with:
setprop persist.demo.hdmirotation=portrait
To have that whole HDMI output in portrait mode.
