Please help I can not root my tablet prestigion multipad pmp5580 duo, android 4.1.1 I have with the programs SuperOneClick, Bin4ry V26, ICS Root Unlocker 1.0, one click root, and not one has failed. I do not know I'm doing wrong Please help.
I also have the same problem, pmp5580 with 4.1 and I can't root it.. any help please!!!

I cant say bout ur device that well, but go with the flow of the tool and u will be rooted

just use framaroot and the gandalf exploit. i am not sure if this matters but use version 1.4.1, it worked for me

Yup!!! tried posting the link but I guess I have to post 10 times in order to be "allowed" to... all you have to do is search in google, "root z998" and the link pops up.. its on the website theunlockr dot com.. the Root is a very easy process.. although it disappoints me that there aren't many custom roms out there yet.. ive been in the process of developing one based off of cm11 but ive gotten stuck with the kernel.. I found another cm11 rom for the z998, but they apparently cant get the kernel working right either... been looking into it

The phone is $45 refurbished at At&T right now. Do you think it's worth that much? How's the speed? compared to moto G?

If u rebooted the phone after update u can't root it. Not yet anyways.
U can downgrade to jb and do it again the right way and u have root. But it's not possible to root a alredy installed kitkat at this time
Always read upp on things before u do somthing
