as I read on engadget, it says it supports from Android 2.2+
The update will be available for any phone or tablet running Android 2.2 or better, and it will begin rolling out today worldwide

Ok i extracted the apk n pasted in system/app n deletd the old vending.apk.. on gdx31 , an its workn fine .. its fast than the old playstore

I must delete my playstore and then put gplaystore 4.0 in system/app or just flash by recovery?

its just a playstore notng to do with ics rom ...

You can just install the Play Store .apk file like any other application. There is no need to delete the old playstore and all that.Just browse to the .apk file with some File Managers and install it like we do normally.
Only the UI of the Play Store will change with these updates and you will still have all other apps and games that are compatible with your device.

I think the new Play Store 4.0 version is a lot more faster than the old 3.10. The new one conserves a lot of mobile data too when compared with the old one.
