I personally like the darker version a lot more. But it is ok I guess. Feels a bit stuttery at times scrolling through the apps and the first page is spazzing out when i try to flick it

Still don't have the new play store. Don't think Google have ever been so slow.
I got it whilst trying to get the AOKP milestone to play nice. Had to reinstall GApps. Looks good, but I actually miss the old layout.
As far as tablet apps has there been more of them ? I had the nexus 7 for a few months and there wasn't many tablet apps . I really want another android tablet but I wish they had more apps

Yes. I need time to get used to it. Icons are too big.
Yes, the new interface looks better, but I really hope goolge can improve it better just like itunes.
Has anyone actually had the new store pushed out to their N10 yet? I got it on my Galaxy Nexus within a day of when it was announced, and yet still nothing for my tablet. It seems like Google is using the same slow, random, and crap update process they use for pushing OS updates.

I got it 2 days after. What OS Update pushes? You mean all the non-Nexus devices and carrier-locked devices that carriers/manufacturers completely lock down against updates until they can put their blockware/bloatware on it?
EDIT: I do know what you mean by slow and random update process, as it is frustrating, seeing as my phone got the new app store like 3 days after the Nexus 10 did. Just don't feel OS updates are relevant

Not just 4.2.2, every OS update Google has every pushed at since they started the Nexus program. I find it weird the new Play update is doing the same thing, for every other app update in the Play Store every user gets updated at the same time.
Looks good. Thanks

What he said...
it doesnt look good.
As previously while browsing Top apps, around 20-25 apps would be shown on a single page without scrolling down.
Now just 4 apps are being shown on the screeen
& that too color is also not good for my phone with SAMOLED screen
pathetic
i think it looks good after the previous version

Anyone else played Temple Run on the 10,1? Is it just me or do you need a giant's finger to swipe, That and for some odd reason random jumps and slides -.-
I don't know if it's the disappointment in the tab or the app. I feel both are responsible.
It is quite hard to play on teh tablet. just doesnt react like it should.
I also have the same problem. It looks like a fun, fluid game, but the controls are entirely unresponsive. Market (Play) reviews seem to agree with us. Here's hoping the dev pushes an update to the 10.1 owners
It's definitely a better experience on my Galaxy Nexus than on my Tab.
Mine worked fine till ICS, now it doesn't register my swipes at all.

I hate that I still own Apple products
I agree with the above LOL I want to play it on the damned 10.1
Then again they pushed out a brand new update today, might try it out to see if it fixes anything.
As for the swipe in ICS, I can't seem to calibrate the tablet nor do I find the option to do so in ICS. Would make the tilting easier as it is somewhat off.
I'm using stock rom and a Temple Run works perfectly.

I suppose the kang has its downsides, eitherway, not going to sacrifice a power based ROM over a 22MB game
Although it is damned addictive
Not much of a game person but yesterday I tried Temple Run on pershoot's latest 4.0.4 ROM/kernel and it worked without an issue.

Hmm. Not working. It loops at the MC3 startup screen. Let me check and see if it is the ROM I am on (I am one of the few rooted devices). Hold on for a bit as I change.
Works just fine on the right ROM.
Controls are bit cramped because of the smaller screen but it is definitely playable.

I have search the Nexus 10 forum and I have not found anybody else posting these videos here. Last night I came accross these video so I thought I should share with you guys:
Nexus 10 running Need for Speed Most Wanted:
http://youtu.be/y8SeoVHXyeM
Nexus 10 running Need for Speed Hot Pursuit and Asphalt 7
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=A7aSfUacFUE&feature=share&list=UU9ogazG-vgEg6rbH8e_fF-g
This is to show you some real world gaming performance. I have heard that Nova 3 works pretty well on this tablet. Some textures on the Asphalt 7 are still like whats on Nexus 7 so it probably needs to be updated. However both EA and GL working hard to update their games before 13th November.
Lol, who is this guy and why does he have a nexus 10?
I've always said screw the useless benchmarks. Nexus 10 running real games this smooth looks very promising.
EPIC LAGS on the most wanted video, 3:29 and 3:31 (and minor lags the 10 seconds before and after that), wtf?

Lolz yes and the guy was shaking his tablet hoping that the game would start working this way
Beside these lags the game was working fine. There was some weird green holo in Asphalt 7 when you collect money. I think asphalt 7 still needs more work although game was updated on 2 Nov. Gameloft is updating it games and so does EA

No idea. He is indian but I think currently he is living in USA. I saw one guy posted a comment on his video that nexus 10 is available from ebay for 699. I check on ebay and there were preorders only. I think some reviewer sold his tablet to him like people right away sold their nexus 7 as soon as they came out of Google I/O.

Yes CNET is always praise for this tablet as well and normally they are apple guys so this means tablet is indeed good. I have seen Asphalt 7 running great in another review video some days ago so I knew that games are not an issue on this tablet.

Getting the 32GB version, you can't add extra storage later and a bit more cash gets you double the space. Getting rid of my iPad 3 64G LTE, putting it up on eBay. So long Apple.

Likely a system background app doing that yea, thus "Android" lagging the game per se, like on any other phone/tablet.

Yeah think if the tablet couldn't run the game it would lag all the time, a couple of blips points to another app causing it.
One app I could telling was open in the background was poweramp when he started the music from the drop down menu. Overall I would have to say that video is encouraging. With a developer streamlined kernel overclocking the gpu a little the N10 is going to beast.
Watched the asphalt 7 vid and I see the graphics are set on low with the tiny opening gameloft logo. Would really like to see a7 with the graphics on high which can be enabled by editing the config file found in the obb. The N7 has to be overclocked to the max to make that game smooth and playable when all graphical options are enabled.

I think its also worth saying that all these reviews and demo's have been on the review version of the OS, you can expect more "tinkering" with it before the release, and you can almost guaranty there's gunna be an update avilable as soon as you connect it to the web.

But then you have to change your number to a GV number, and doing that would be problematic for me. Am I right in thinking this?
Sent from my EVO using xda app-developers app
Change what number? Your tablet isn't a phone. It links to your GMail account, and you can create a new phone number that can ring your devices on making a new account. If you mean texting people with your actual phone number then yea that might be an issue, as it shows on their phone as your GV number.
Wouldn't it use a new phone number for the texts?

Not working on my N7 with the OTA. Give them a few months it only took years for them to bring it to phones and tablets that aren't Kindles.
It's working with official L (N7). I haven't watched more than a few minutes so don't know about the long haul. I flashed the images since I was rooted with custom recovery. I'm using the Amazon app ver. 5.1.0 with Amazon Instant Video app ver 1.0.

The Nexus 9 is deliberately blocked from streaming (due to being a tablet, Amazon is supposedly now enforcing this for new devices). It's not a question of missing updates to the app.
