i just used es file manager to look. the file folders were approaching 80,000 when the program said "invalid path"
But the Size estimater was pretty much at 14.9gigs since i hit the 30,000 files point.
You lucked out by getting the 1tb version of the DNA.
Unfortunately I can't use any of it. Does anyone know what would cause my phone to show this?

Yes it is because it proves you mess with stuff you shouldn't without performing a backup.
The need for doing backups (for everything, anything you change from using your computer everyday, to changing anything on your phone has been beaten to death) so to come here and admit that is to open yourself to ridicule.
Also it proves that you posted without first reading the rules of the forums, which you agree to when you got an account and had to agree that you have read.
IT is illegal to ask to do illegal things on the forums (ok we start from the basis that regardless of voiding warranty, rooting is not illegal). Trying to copy copyrigthed material is ilegal. Now, you can try to fo to a TMo (corporate) store, and get your SD card exchanged, it worked for some people.....

I'm trying to delete a skin, but as you can see in my picture I do not have the option. I tried looking for the installed skins in my applications menu, but no dice. Long pressing the skin won't do anything and pressing the menu button will just give me the option in the picture...any ideas on how I can delete some skins?
(I'm on the stock 2.3.4 ROM and I've removed all the HTC crap like HTC likes, recommends, and MY HTC)

the way that I did it dealt with putting the initially installed .apk file for the theme/skin back onto my memory card and using Astro to uninstall. With Astro, go to the .apk installation file, click the file, and select "Open App Manager". The option to uninstall that theme/skin will be available now.
Funny, i deleted this skin before myself.
Go to Titanium Backup, click Backup/Restore and uninstall Glassskin.apk

Actually, I haven't been able to find where to change permissions or where to change from r/o to r/w... But I haven't checked the thread or tutorial really because it hasn't been a big deal yet.
I noticed this because I just flashed newer leak and was going to kill the cap key lights

same here...root explorer will always be my main file manager for root processes. i just use this one for the simple stuff
Searching with search button is very slow.
Thanks for the find mrmako777
Pretty sweet file explorer. I'm digging the dual view in landscape mode. It helped me when I was having issues with the touch sensor on my old phone.
I still use root explorer for the basics but this one is nice to have.
Search is a lil slow but that's not a biggie for me.
I believe for permissions access it's under the properties settings. There should be a "set" button in the properties window.
Hopefully there will be an update soon... Anyway, thanks again.
I rock and roll all night long.... Sweet Susie. \m/

Is it called "Phase Beam"? I didn't notice it because it was so "blue".
Okay, yeah, I guess that's it. I was looking for the original name. Perhaps it's been working all aling. I'm not sure. Or maybe the final permission change did it. Regardless, it's working now.
So "duh" to me. And thanks again!
No problem! And yeah, the stock PhaseBeam was probably changing the icon. I'll change it in a bit.
Sent from my PC36100 using XDA
Cool. Thanks again.
I looked at Phase Beam on my other EVO LTE and it was the same. So I guess I never did get this one to install correctly.
Please let me know if you get it fixed.
Is it possible to rename it to "HTC Sense" like it was on the OG EVO?
Can someone on *OTA Stock* 2.04 (NOT from a flashed ZIP) please tell me your file size for BackupRestoreConfirmation.apk in /system/app? I am trying to apply parts of the new OTA released today but I'm getting mismatches on this file and the install is failing. I used MicroMod777's "stock" ROM but I'm wondering if something isn't quite right with it. I noticed in a few other ROMs based off 2.04 that the file size doesn't match.
Can this be checked from a non-rooted phone? I'd help you out, but obviously don't have access to /system.

I'm honestly not certain if /system/app is readable on our phones without root. The first thing I did was root my phone when I got it. If you can browse into there, you can likely see the file size.
There you go!

That worked. Can you get me a byte count on InputDevices.apk? That's the second one in the script that is now also failing. Looks like this "stock" 2.04 ROM isn't actually as stock as it should be. Going to have to take this up in that thread I think once you let me know the file size on this other one. Just curious whether it's one byte off, too.
