Presenting Xperia Z Bootanimation
Well I don't really like threads with much fancy editing cause I am bad at it so would try to keep this thread simple.
Well, everyone who thinks this is just a copy paste from my xperia phone needs a lot to learn here on XDA to avoid their useless doubts and conclusions. Well I have resized the bootanimation to match galaxy y resolution. The problem earlier was instead of 240, I typed 213 and thus the images got turned into 213x320 resolution and i'm sorry for it, but now it's fixed. Also the updater-script I have written on my own so next time before doubting my works and saying I haven't done anything, try to read more to overcome the noobishness. Sorry but this is a general quote not pointing to anyone.

Sorry sir but I have PORTED that bootanimation and not just copy paste. I have resized every png from my phone for to make it work for galaxy y. If that's wrong then I'm sorry but it's not just sharing tbh.

Well I didn't knew that thus I ported this. I'm not a regular galaxy y user sir, just wanted to share what I tried to do.

Updated! Fixed the resolution bug. Sorry for the mistake i typed 213 instead of 240 by mistake but now ecerything should work. :good:

i just edited it in paint and am posting it here..
changed date to 2012, made htc sony etc etc, just cosmetic changes..
also decreased the fps to better suite our devices..

checked the source thread, the closest one i could find for our phone is the x8 one.
maybe you can use this as base.
just put correct RAM 512MB and ROM 320 MB and this would definitely make heads turn,,,

all right, i'll change it this weekend maybe..
yes i used htc dream, will change it to x8.. just chose randomly the first thing i found to be 320x480.

Its so easy to make it yourselves -.-
Just take the bootanimation.zip, unpack it, take the pictures and edit them with GIMP or something.

i've added all the other mdpi phones..
i've changed it to 512 mb ram , 320 mb rom..

Today I mod the framework-Res.apk of creed 3.5 for s3 ripple effect lock screen.... right now I don't have a PC... so I did everything from my phone... so maybe its not very cool but I hope u guys will like it... I resized the PNG files and font of S3 and used it here....

It will take sometimes to boot so don't panic... after reboot go to settings-then-creed parts-and select lock screen types and select 'stocksamsung'

But if u want to do it by urself then open framework-res.apk by 7-zip or winrar or whatever and copy the png's from here-http://db.tt/dHuQLChT and copy all png files to framework-res.apk/res/drawable-ldpi/here then repack it then copy your framework-Res.apk to system/framework/**here** phone will be automatically reboot.... enjoy....

Download the required file, put it in the root of your "SDCARD" and go to CWM OR TWRP and install it as a Flashable zip

Can you tell me what tool did you used to mod your SystemUI.apk ??
I use apk manager 5 and holoxperia tool by chotu22 to decompile and compile my SytemUI.apk , its successfully compiled but why did the size of the apk decreased extremely, around 100-300kb, although im just edit the xml and make the statusbar_background.png transparent?
and yes my modded SystemUI.apk wont work, when im install it, and reboot the phone, the statusbar gone, and the device UI become fullscreen without statusbar.
I use windows 8, and i've installed the framework-res.apk correctly.

Frankly, I do not see any reason to ask for permission.
It seems to me that be on the list - it's in your best interest!
You are the first who reacted so strangely to add to the list.

strange. i have seen it work on my ICS Viper Xperia ROM and on stock GB 2.3.4- BB64-DooMKernel, build 62... what's ur BB and build ?

are you sure you are installing right ???!!! because i have seen it work on GB
not working...
i am using viper xperia 5 and its not working...i copied and replaced the app and set permissions and rebooted...not working,the default themes dont show up,its just blank...
FIX ASAP

Screenshots:
-I extracted it my self and made it fit and optimized for Xperia P, U, Sola, and Go.
-I do not have an Xperia phone for now to test it my self, but I will try it out on my friend's Xperia U.
-Please test it out and let me know if it's laggy, slow, too fast, or optimized.
Requirement: Rooted phone
INSTRUCTIONS:
-back up your phone first (Online Nandroid or CWM)
-make sure you have file manager or file explorer and have these options checked:
-Root Explorer
-Mount System Folders
- copy the bootanimation.zip in your sdcard, open file manager or explorer, and go to system/media
- open media folder and paste it over there and overwrite the original one.
- set the permission of the new bootanimation to: rw -r -r (check the Instruction screenshots help)
- REBOOT YOUR PHONE! (after reboot, the phone will boot up with the new white bootanimation)

u welcome.. but there was a lag i found in the animation flow! about it in Xperia S, so I fixed it and tested , also did it in here too.. check the new download links!

weird, in xperia S did lag, but i fixed them all, also the quality remained the same with a down sized

i believe there is an original live wallpaper same one of the bootanimation, i saw in Xperia Z demonstration during swiping the screen! well, i will check if there is aa one available
