[Q] Help needed in pinpointing battery hog - Android Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Hello!
I'm sorry that my first post here is for something as petty as this, but I'm at my wits end.
I have an LG P500 (aka Optimus One) and for the last few months my battery life has literally halved or more. It used to be that I could get about 48h without charging with mild use and wifi constantly on. Now I can't even get 20h with NO use. The battery drain is about %5/h minimum. However, here's the catch - the high drain only happens when wifi is connected. If it's just on (but no network connected) - drain is low. If it's off, drain is below 1%/h.
What I've tried (none of these things have had an effect):
Totally discharging and totally charging;
Buying a new battery (original, not a clone);
Uninstall every possible app that might use the net;
Reinstall firmware (with original LG software, which didn't clear my settings or custom installed apps, so I guess it's not a complete reinstall);
Use BetterBatteryStats to see what is causing much awake time (more on this later - the results are utterly confusing);
Use Network Log to see what's using the net (nothing! There are barely a few dozen packets per hour)
Now, the BetterBatteryStats is where it gets confusing. Here's the log:

The confusing thing is that BBS says that "Awake (): 8 m 47 s", while the screenshot clearly shows a much larger percentage of being awake.
Also, the top two apps on Partial Wakelocks are always "*wifi*" and "Alarm Manager". I have no idea what "*wifi*" is and I cannot find any information about it either (but it seems very suspicious). Alarm Manager shows some alarms, but nothing that should cause that sort of drain.
So, that's my story... can anyone help me with any ideas or hints of what to do?
My next idea is to completely wipe and reinstall the phone, but that's a bit drastic, so I'm keeping that for the last.
Added: One more thing I forgot to add: I don't know if this is related or not, but it started at about the same time - wifi as such seems to have become a bit more unstable too. It occasionally gets "stuck" of sorts. If it was connected to a network at that time, then it shows being connected to that network even though I'm miles away already. Or, if it wasn't connected, then it isn't connecting to any networks either, even when I'm right next to the wifi AP. To solve this I just need to disable and re-enable it.

I cannot understand anything from the log you posted. But I suspected a rogue app that prevent your phone from sleeping.
1/ Flack back to stock, wipe and clearn cache.
2/ Use GSAM battery to find out if there is an app that wake up your phone.
3/ Use CPUSpy to see if you phone is sleeping at all.
If all cannot fix, I suggest you go claim warranty
1. I am on stock rom, I have tried clearing cache. And I am pretty sure wiping won't help either.
2,3. I have posted BetterBatteryStats dump which shows the same thing as apps you mentioned.
It shows that phone is spending in deep sleep less than 10% time and most used freq is 384 mhz.
Also most wakeups caused by wlan_rx_wake, but most time i wasn't connected to wifi (i was driving through city).
I was hoping that maybe it's known bug/feature and doing something like turning off google location collector might fix it.

wifi -> advanced options -> keep wifi on during sleep -> never
and report back
Xperia s has this problem too,no solution yet. (with stock rom of course).
Strangely, keeping wifi ON would help this problem.in xperia s at least.

Slim Photon V2 Battery Drain

Per an earlier thread I was ready to just go back to stock but I would really like to keep this MOF 2.3.5. Slim {locked} De-Blur 4.5.1A-1_SUN-254_13 Update (9/2/12) I recently installed.
Ive been getting horrible battery life. Down to 50% remaining in like 2.5 hours ... I used to get atleast 24 hours standby time.
Below is my log from BetterBatteryStats ...
PingProcessor and PowerManagerService keeping phone awake and not letting it sleep...?
(I know your supposed to run for atleast an hour or more but Im at work and keep having to use my phone and just trying to figure out some possible options to mess with when I get home)

[Q] Battery drain on xperia sola (Android 4.0.4)

For quite a while now I've had a battery drain problem on my xperia sola. I've uninstalled most apps, deactivated WiFi, and it's still no good. My phone drops about 30% of battery load over 9.5 hours of standby.
I've looked around other threads without finding a solution yet.
However, I have taken a cue from other threads and installed BetterBatteryStats. Below is the output from last night's standby. I can't really make out anything obvious from it. Can someone help, please?

30% over 9.5 hrs is not too bad for an android phone !!
the only app causing wakelock ( for around total of 9 mins of 9.5 hrs) is Gtalk and that too has only run for 6 mins.. !!
Trust me is not bad at all !!
