Hi everyone, i've been using Volume+ on android for quite a while and i love it, that's the only way i can use my hi-fi headphones at 100%. I'd like to get perfect audio quality on pc that i get on my phone. Is it possible to use Volume+ app on pc? Maybe with some kind of emulator? Or maybe is there some good equalizer app similar to Volume+? I've tried some, but i can't get sound quality nowhere near android with Volume+ and its bass+other options.

Hello guys, I'm new here and very new to the android platform. I got rid of my iphone for the amaze but the first thing i noticed was how quiet the music players volume is. I like to listen to my music really loud. Is there anyway to increase the volume. i've tried an app volume + but that didn't really do much. Any help would be appreciated.

I recommend going to the MARKET and downloading an app called POWERAMP. You can download the free trial that last about 2 weeks before it expires (you can uninstall the app and reinstall it every time to refresh the trial) or you can help out the devs and buy the pro version for about $5.99. Poweramp has a bunch of different settings for sound gaining, treble, bass, preamp etc. I definitely recommend it!

Thanks for the reply but i tried that app. That app just has a bunch of different EQ setting's to make the music sound louder but it also makes the music sound bad. I use playerpro which has the same settings with the dsp pack. Any way to increase the main sound? Like directly from the audio server.

Hi Everyone,
I wish that I am posting it in right forums. If not, Please move it to suitable Forums.
I had this problem from the day I bought L9. That is, I faced this problem in Stock ROM, and now I am facing it on CM ROM too.
But, after Googling this problem, I think that this seems to be a very critical problem with all LG Optimus L9 Users, as all the given below Threads actually point to the same problem:
Audio problem headphones
Problem with music listening
Issue with music player
May be these people were not able to explain the problem very well, so I am posting it again. I wish that I would explain at my best.
Problem?
We know that there is a Safe Volume Level in our Android, and it gives some sort of warning like Raise Volume above Safe Level? This may cause hearing problem! Blah Blah!, when we try to increase the volume to Max Level.
When I try to increase the volume to Max level, and suddenly when very High Beats(you know what I mean) come in the music of the song, the Music Player pauses. The Connection of the earphone gets detached from the phone, and it plays the Song in Loudspeaker of phone, when I Resume the song.
So, I have to unplug the Earphone and Plug it again to Listen to it.
This Problem happens with:
My LG Earphones
Other small earphones
My Car Music Player when using an AUX Cable
Music Player at my Gym
This Problem does not happens with:
Steelseries Siberia Headphones
Its so strange to me that the problem is with all earphones, but not with this Gaming Headphone which I have. I just increase the Volume to Max level and it keeps playing it and the beats are awesome with this headphone.
Is the problem related to L9's Hardware? Or there is something with the Output of Audio? I don't know! I am a Noob with this!
So, I request for help as I am, and maybe some other people too, are sick of this problem. PLEASE HELP!
Thank You
Best Regards
no prob with me

It happens with any song, at maximum volume.
Is it something related to Output of Audio? Maybe it does not give problem with Good Heaphones like your SkullCandy and my gaming headphone of SteelSeries.
Maybe these headphones are able to process very High level sound? Or something else? There must be some solution!
Thanks for your reply!

Although, I can see 90% change with Viper4Android, but still at some extent, when I tried to increase the volume to Max, the music is getting stopped in some high beats song.
FYI, currently I have enabled these settings in Headset settings menu of Viper4Android:
In Master Power, V4A FX is Enabled
In Fidelity control, Viper BASS is enabled
What settings I can alter for more advantage?
Thanks for your help brother :good:

Hi I am running CyanogenMod 11 nightlies on my Droid DNA and whenever the volume is over half on the external speakers, the bass makes a "slapping" sound (similar to what you'd hear in one of those overly loud car stereo systems). Anyways, this has begun to get pretty irritating and I'm wondering if anyone has come across this problem or has any solutions. I've checked the DSP manager app that comes preinstalled on CM and bass boost is turned off and all the settings look fine to me.
Regards,
Alex
EDIT: I found a solution, use a root uninstaller to delete the DSP application, reduces the speaker crackling and bass slapping effect.

Also you can use Viper4Android instead of DSP.
You try using http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2211163 with clarity speaker option? It worked on my DNA to reduce the bass distortion. I used it on sense, so don't know how well it works on AOSP

Hi everybody,
I really like my new z4, but sound output level from headphones is really low, compared to my old Tablet S (using same amplified loudspeakers, same audio files).
I tried with apps using ReplayGain technology, like Poweramp and Vanilla Music, but the output still seems unaffected.
Does it happen because ReplayGain works only on rooted devices?
Have you got any suggestions or workarounds without recurring to rooting?
Thx in advance
Portable headphone amplifier?

Yes, but I would keep it simpler. As a Mac user, I find ITunes single files volume adjustment option a simple and viable option. I cannot believe the android world has nothing as simple as that.
And, I cannot understand why my old Tablet S (android 4.0.3, unrooted) performs so much better in terns of sound volume.
Because this may seem like a weird question, please allow me to explain:
I have managed to get Viper4Android FX (the most superior audio mod) running on MEmu, an Android emulator which is running Android 7.1
Being a not-so-professional-audiophile I do not know about any single Windows application (including Viper4Windows) that can do nearly as much as Viper4Android. Least of all being as simple to use as V4A!!!
So I've planned to use MEmu as my computer's music player, since Viper4Android simply is that superior over anything I know as well as easy to use.
However, the audio output of MEmu is being recognized as speaker by V4A, and is therefore greatly limiting my audio options.
Therefore, as the title proclaims, I would like to figure out a way to trick Android (or just the Viper4Android app) into "thinking" that the headphone jack is plugged in, and therefore allowing me to enjoy Viper4Android on my pc as if I'm using my phone.
There's an Android App 'Lesser AudioSwitch' On Google Play Store To Solve This Problem.
Do you know APO EQUALIZER + PEACE for Windows ?
