Does anyone know if we can connect a usb webcam via usb otg like the Nexus 7 to our Mediapads? I would like to use one as a dashcam and install my Mediapad into my car as a media tablet. I know it has been done with Nexus 7, Samsung Galaxy S3 etc. Many thanks in advance for any replies!

Hello.
I have a gps device, garmin forerunner 405, and I would like to send my trainings to my tablet. I have installed "ANT USB Service" and "ANT Radio Service". I have installed an app to get my trainings, "sportablet". I connect my usb adapter, them my ant usb stick and... nothing. But if I connect my usb adapter and a usb with photos or videos, yes, I can see its content.
Someone knows how can I connect the "ant usb stick" to the sgt 10.1?
Thank you.

Can anyone help me how to use external webcam on android?
similar problem here...
webcam works fine with old nexus 7 and android 4.3
with android 4.4 it does not work
also, the new nexus 7 does not work with 4.3 or 4.4 either
even if the webcam is recognized correctly by the tablet, the apps dont work
i'd pay money to get a working solution for my new nexus 7

Hi everyone,

I have the usb2net cable (usb to RJ45) but this connection is not recognize by the GT-P7510 ... is there a way to update the firmware or to add a driver on my tab?
I've seen the the galaxy tab 2 recognize the ethernet connections.

Does anyone know of any USB Hubs without ethernet that work with the Nexus Player. I'm currently connected with the nexus player 5ghz AC and get 150megabits , so no need for ethernet. Do you guys chain a micro usb to usb cable to a hub to get this working? Products, tips and info here please. Thanks in advance
Has anyone tried this: http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00BWF5U0M?keywords=USB HUB&qid=1444943911&ref_=sr_1_1&s=pc&sr=1-1

I use a basic 4 port USB 3.0 hub also from Sabrent (doesnt have the on/off buttons on it) and pair it with an OTG cable and it works fine. I have a wireless mouse, sixaxis or ds4 controller, and a 64GB flash drive plugged into it.
