Hey guys,
I just recently got my hand on a Droid DNA. Coming from a nexus phone I decided to create a stock Google splash screen for the DNA!
For this to work you must be:
S-Off
have the Dev ENG HBOOT found here
Instructions:
1.) Have adb and fastboot setup on your computer. If you don't read this
2.) Copy the splash.img into the same folder as fastboot.exe
3.) type the following comands after plugging in your phone
Code:
adb reboot bootloader
4.) Wait for phone to reboot into bootloader, then type
Code:
fastboot flash splash1 splash.img
Splash without unlock

Thank you for this and especially for making it black.

Looks great! could you possibly consider making one but with the unlock logo on the bottom? similar to how the nexus bootloaders look when unlocked

Thanks I am setting up ENG HBOOT just so I can do this, I rather dislike the HTC splash screen.

Hey Guys,
----------------------------------------------------------------------------
Xploited made a really cool boot logo / splash screen / w/e it's called. (You flash it with fastboot.) Read quote or original post here.
Here's an image: http://attachments.xda-developers.com/attachment.php?attachmentid=679864&d=1312671316
Here's the download: http://forum.xda-developers.com/attachment.php?attachmentid=679868&d=1312671341

Using that I created a boot animation from it. The Motorola logo on it is green. And the text kinda flashes, like the windows 7 status bar...
It can be fixed, made better, more effects, so yea I will be updating this over time as my Photoshop/Gimp skills get better.
Take notice that the actual boot animation is much better than the gif below...

If anyone would like to implement this in their rom / w/e, just go and do it... You don't have to ask!
Nice! For some reason the boot animation is slanted and looks weird. Logo.bin is fine. When you compressed the zip did you set it to store? Also I'm on neutrino ROM! Can you also make the boot animation exactly as the boot logo but make the letters flash like a dark gray? Thanks.

Thanks, Yea I set it to store when I zipped it. I thought that it was my phone that displayed the animation as slanted. Anyways I would appreciate any help to get it fixed, because for some reason, every boot animation I make gets slanted and I don't know why. I made a thread here, feel free to help in either of these threads.
And yes I will try to make a dark gray version... Expect it in the next 3 days...
Until I can find out why every boot animation I make is slanted I'm holding all the animations I made. Sorry guys, they looked pretty go too!
My phone is an HTC One M8 running Android Revolution HD and TWRP Recovery. I recently downloaded Multirom thinking that I could hold multiple roms just by downloading the app. The app told me to reboot into Recovery mode to finish installation, and I rebooted into recovery. The only roms that were available to boot in was Internal so I just chose that. Turns out Internal will always get me stuck into the htcONE boot screen even after 1 day of waiting. If I try to go into bootloader mode and go into factory reset, it brings me back to the MultiROM menu everytime. I cannot even access the phone from the computer to edit the files. Please help, thanks!
@sangothemango
When you say when you try booting into bootloader do you mean your recovery as far as doing a factory reset?
Try power+volume-up till it goes dark and as soon as it goes dark just hold volume-down till the actual hboot/bootloader comes up.

If you can get the above example type of screen to come up than you can save your device. Hopefully your familiar with adb/fastboot cause that's what's going to fix it.
Unless you already have S-OFF ?
Yes I can get into that screen, but if I choose anything, it says going into recovery mode and then nothing happens.

Sir..the unlocked bootloader warning screen and the boot animation, are two, completely separate functions..
The boot animation is actually included in the OS firmware..

That's ok I found the right file in your other thread. Apparently it was just the wrong link in this thread.
Yeah, I'm not stupid. I flashed the zip in the OP and it changed the unlocked bootloader screen to the screenshot someone posted earlier and the bootscreen was untouched. But its alright, I found a better one.

Hello,
I've bought CN version of Motorola P30 and I would like to change the ROM but I am unable to unlock bootloader. Does someone know how to do it? Attached are the images showing that the standard method doesn't work.
Thank you in advance for providing solution.

In settings/developer options
There's a
OEM unlock toggle
Are you able to turn it on?

Yes, fortunately (or not) I am able to do so.
Below are the images I've mentioned about in my first post.
