Well you mest up with rom manager without any knowledge about it. AFAIK Your phone is now fully brick. You need to replace your motherboard(GOOD LUCK WITH WARRANTY )
Sent from my GT-S5830 using Tapatalk
If Flashing and Unbrick not working, what ever you do or how you try, then you probably messed up your boot ROM and it´s BRICKED. SORRY FOR YOU, but always, I MEAN ALWAYS read and search the forum 10 TIMES, before you start up messing your phone. It can very yeasely BRICKED.
I hope you can change it from service for free. Say that you trying restore to FACTORY setting(just make up some story[believable], why you was need to restore to FACTORY settings). Maybe they belive you and change your BRICKED phone to new one. Thumbs up for you and dont do anything stupid next time!!!
P1tt187, just out of curiosity - how did you even do that?
When I tried to use ROM Manager it told me to install the correct drivers, but Galaxy Ace isn't supported, so I just resigned. Which drivers did you use?
P1tt187 My friend had the same thing, he used a ROM Manager to back up the ROM in the ACE. Identical symptoms. Only the Samsung service will help. Tell him that you turned off phone and not turn on (Phone) . Samsung Service exchanged him motherboard in ACE (on guarantee).
Galaxy Ace not supported yet by ROM manager! Sorry for you but search the forum(or just GOOGLE it) before trying something first. There is always GOOGLE to helping(if you not found it here). Just USE it!
I have rooted and customized all my phones(HTC, SAMSUNG), JAILBREAKED AND UNLOCKED all my IPhones(3G and 4G), just waste some time, for GOOGLE! But you must be patient. Everything is not coming in first search(but everything is there, TAKE THE TIME and be sure for right thing).
CHEERS!
Hey,
I just have the same problem, but I didn't touch to the ROM or anything else
I just rooted my phone with SuperOneClick, turn it off and it never turn on again...
Since my phone is rooted, I don't know if the warranty is lost, but I think so...
I already tried to remove the battery and then put it back while holding ok + volume down + power, but it didn't work, the screen stays completely black...
I'll let my phone rest a few days and then send it to Orange while I pray --'
Any other idea guys ?
( sorry for my bad english...)

Try to reflash with original version. Read this and try:http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1034145
or try to unbrick it, here:http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1071970
I'v tried to unbrick my phone, but it stucks on Odin at <1> setup connection..
I've let it run for 1 hour, but nothing changes
On the thread you gave me someone say that there is no solution for that...
What I don't understand is that I neither Flashed or tried to change the Rom of my phone, I only rooted it with SOC...
Anyway thanks for the help, I'll send it to Orange in a few days...

Hi all,
I have looked for a similar post, I found out that many people experienced something like that trying unlocking their phones, but I haven't found out any solution.
Here is my situation:
I have tried to unlock my s5830 (orange spain carrier), I have used a method which it seems to be dangerous for the phone, but of course I have found out it was dangerous after I have already tried it
Anyway after I discovered the unlock number contained in the perso.txt file in the efs folder, my phone restarted without service once and after that it went in a bootloop mode, it goes on a download mode, but there is no way to get back recovery mode or a normal boot.
I flashed the s5830 several times with many firmware, but no one worked, and the phone is still stuck in an infinite loop, in which I am not even able to see the samsung logo coming out at the very beginning.
I know many phones got bricked in this way, I wanted to know if anybody has been able to recover the phone or if anybody know any possible solution.
And if not, do you know if the warranty is covering this problem? I just got the phone a couple months ago; i have unlocked other devices before, but this is the first time I have experienced a problem so I am quite new about warranty as well. Please HELP ME
Merry Christmas guys!!!
Thanks in advance

with the cellphone off, put out ur baterry for a minute, then maintain ur finger into the volume down button and the power button tell a friend or if u can alone insert the batery while quickly pressing volume down and power button to get into download mode, and flash.
Hehehe, bootloop is horrible, you just have to get in download mode & flash with 2.3.4 firmware with Odin, just that steps and you save your SGA.
I got bootloop many times and Odin saved me.

he cant go back in recovery mod............
If you can go to recovery mode than you can just wipe the data and cache. This saved me many times. Otherwise on what ever OS you may be , just create new user name after removing samsung android drivers. Login from new user name and than re install drivers again and now flash your phone from firmware which was installed on your phone before you bricked it. This helped me a few times.

It seems that you've already received a lot of help for unbricking your device. So I'll try to help out in unlocking your phone after you finished unbricking it.
This is the method I personally used on my locked Ace:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1335548
It's perfectly safe. 100%.

I have tried the XXKP9 again, it is not working, as usual Odin ends to load the firmware and then it goes back in the endless loop mode....there is no chance to get it back?

thank you very much I will follow your advice...IF I will be able to get my phone back which seems impossible =(
@dr_vishal
Thank you first of all, I have tried to uninstall and reinstall the android device driver, but it doesn't seems to be the problem, Odin ends with a "PASS" at the end, I guess there still is comunication in the between the two devices...
Hopefully it will be a Merry Christmas =)
It's not impossible. I'm relatively new here but I have noticed quite a few "bricked" threads already. Most of them (if not all) have been able to fix their device. I haven't seen a single person permanently brick their device, so I would guess that your chances of fixing it are really high. Just be patient and keep describing your situation and more experienced help will certainly arrive. I'd really like to help out but I have no idea how to fix it as I have not experienced bricking my phone yet.
Anyway, if the method for unlocking I suggested works for you kindly press the Thanks Button. Merry Christmas!

just a thought
a lot of people have talked about reflashing it and all but have you managed to get into the recovery mode at all once you have reinstalled the rom with odin? if you can get to that you just need to hit factory reset, wipe cache and wipe dalvik and normaly after that it will work fine... so far ive been stuck in soft brink 3 times and each time doing the wipes from the recovery mode has worked...

I've tried to use the oneclick, but it seems it doesn't recognize the phone, since, i guess, it's made for a galaxy s.
The others are not my case, since I am able to get download mode, and all these are made to can get it back.
Anyway I found out a post in which the people were talking about the s5500, which apparentely is similiar to my device, and the owners of that model experienced a similar problem doing the same process....anyway in that post the people needed to use a Jtag, which is the only way to get it back....so I though it could be the same solution for my problem...but I don't know anybody with Jtag, so the only way is contacting the service center.
thanks anyway, when I will be back at home after Christmas I will try to find the ticket and I will probably try to get it back in warranty, since is preatty new...
@torchwolfery
I am not able to reach recovery mode, there is no way to get it back, even flashing the phone with different firmwares, all I got is download mode, and apparently that is completely pointless...since the only change in the phone behavior is that if i install a certain firmwares it doesn't even have the back-light working when it is stuck in bootloop.
Warranty is your only hope (as it was mine once and it worked).
I didn't think it was possible to brick these phones. There I have tried so much to try and brick it but I have not been able to as it still always goes into 'download' mode. The only advice I can give you is double check that you are using the correct version of Odin which is v4.38 and that you use cooper v1.0 as your OPS. If dont mind me asking, but exactly what did you do or do you remember the steps you took to brick it? What buttons are you using for 'recovery' mode.
Also please clarify if Odin is going in a loop or does the phone come on and then keeps rebooting? If it is the phone that keeps rebooting, then wiping cache and data partition should do the trick. This can be done by going into recovery mode (which I am aware you cannot get into) or if you can manage to get into the dialler quick enough before the reboot, by dialling *7267*3855# and that should format the relevant partitions (data and cahce) and bring it back to factory settings. Without further info, I cannot really tell exactly what the situation is.
The fact that you are getting 'download' mode, I dont think that it is bricked because it will still allow you to write the relevant directory/files to the relevant blocks. Either way, would be interested to know.
Hi there, i finally got round to trying to root my galaxy s2 having put it off for a while due to the fear of it all! I only really wanted to root it to move the games over to my sd card since they were taking up all the room on my internal memory!
Anyway now that i have done it, i have really messed up my fone. My fone will not boot anymore, it will only go into download mode. It won't go in recovery or boot at all. It goes to the galaxy s2 logo and displays a yellow sign at the bottom of the screen. I have tried numerous tutorials online to try and fix this problem. I have tried 'Phistachio's guide on this forum and i still couldn't get it to work. It just comes up 'Fail' when i try to flash everything. It flashes the kernal fine, and it also flashes the pit file fine, but the rest it just fails on.
I really need my phone up and running again through any means! If anyone has the time to help me, that would be fantastic! I just need it fixed, and it feels like i am running out of ideas on what to do next.
Im sure i was on ice cream sandwich when i tried to flash the device so i followed this tutorial on galaxys2root....com (i can't post the link)
But it after this, it never booted.
Please help!
Thanks

Hi!
I can see that you are stuck on bootloop. There are a lot of options to get you started on fixing this.
If you can go to download mode, you can just flash a stock rom/firmware via odin..
If you can't go to download mode, you use a usb jig to get you to download mode (if you don't have a usb jig, you can borrow one near you.. the link is on my signature).. and once you get to download mode, you can flash a stock firmware/ rom..
you can get/ download stock firmwares on sammobile.com but you have to have an account there. don't worry it's free
I hope this helped
Cheers!
usb jig n flashing stock rom over pc odin the best way

Hi.
Firstly take out the fear in you n then try out anything with yr phone for wat u need.
Now find a jig which will reset yr binary count to Zero.
Find your countries latest stock rom on xda or sammobile.
Odin v 1.85
Stock rom tar file (which u get after extracting downloaded rom )
Install samsung mobile drivers on yr pc.
Put yr phone to download mode manually (vol down +centre+power)
Then open odin n don touch anything other than pda.
In pda select the md5sum tar file.
Then connect yr phone with usb cable to odin n after u find an yellow vom port u ve to start n wait for stock rom to get
Flashed n with fear don remove cable in the midfle of flash n once done it will restart n work the way it was before.

Hey,
I have a Samsung S2 (Korean Version) which was working fine. Since, it is being used by my younger brother for games etc. He informed me one day that the phone is not getting started. I checked the phone, switched it on and as it displayed Samsung SII logo and jumped straight away to recovery mode.
Resultantly, i installed AOKP rom using CWM recovery. The phone started and was working fine until restarted. On restart the phone again goes to recovery mode instead of loading the Rom.
Can anyone help me in fixing this ??
I refuse to help lazy people who insist on using such silly/generic topic titles like "Help Please" instead of using common sense and putting something relevant.
If you expect people to enter/read your topic and help instead of skipping or entering to leave remarks like mine I would recommend changing title to something useful for forum browsers.

did your rom could get into the operator interface after get in the CWM mode? if not ,try to install a new rom and back up your data, then wipe data cache and reinstall again. maybe your brother deleted some system files which make the system run regularly. therefore the phone jump to CWM when restart.

Dont worry, its not a big problem.
Press & hold POWER BUTTON + MENU BUTTON + VOLUME UP BUTTON for 5-10 seconds, then you will see something written in Korean language. Just ignore that and press VOLUME UP BUTTON. Then u will enter the boot menu. Use VOLUME KEYS to move up and down. and to SELECT something click on POWER BUTTON.

Hey guys,
I have a galaxy s3 (I9300) and I've had it rooted for some time now. I started using CyanogenMod 10.2 nightlies a few months ago and they've mostly been fine. The odd issue comes up but I've been able to work it out. So, a few hours ago my phone just turned off of its own accord and started to bootloop, but on the "Samsung Galaxy S3 GT-19300" screen, not the CyanogenMod screen (to clarify, this screen comes up first then the cyanogenmod one usually). I've tried booting into recovery (CWM 6) but it just shows the CWM boot logo thing (that cog with the hat) and then loops back to the galaxy s3 page. I've also tried putting it in download mode, and it seems to stay on the warning page longer than it does anywhere else, but it wont let me actually put in it download mode from there.
I had a look around google and saw people have had the same problem, but everything I could find was when people had flashed a new rom/kernel etc. and something had gone wrong in the process. The weird thing about mine is that I haven't changed anything, even downloaded any new apps, for maybe a week, so it's not like something suddenly changed. I also wasn't using it when it started, it was just sitting on the table next to me.
Usually I can work these things out, but I'm stumped here. Any help would be really appreciated.
Thanks in advance!

Nope, if I press the volume up button to go into it, it just goes back to the bootloop. I'll try the battery thing though, thanks!
Nope, it didnt work, I left it out for maybe half an hour and nothings changed :/ anyone else got any ideas?
SDS thread and BootLoop identical questions posted .
What does Product Code say in download mode .
But if you cannot get to download mode then you need a service centre repair .
looks like u are facing SDA but a bit diffrend than a normal SDS.. mine still can go into download mode with blank product name..
If product name is blank in download mode then you got sudden death, consider a phone as a brick. Nothing will help, including repartitioning.
You need to contact service centre.
I'll check it in a minute, but if it is bricked, will any service center actually help me seeing as it's rooted and all?

AFAIK if it's sudden death then it's not possible to detect root and other modified things, or in other words - nobody has money to prove that you have been using unofficial firmware .

Ahhhh, well that is handy then
In terms of a service centre, will samsung have a list of them somewhere so I can find one near me?
So I contacted samsung and they gave me the link to book into a service centre etc, but I just realised that when I try to go into recovery mode, the CWM recovery logo comes up before going back to bootloop. Is there any way to get rid of that so that my root is completely untraceable?

If you can't flash anything with Odin (stock software) then you're screwed. Eventually you can try to enter recovery and flash "eraser" of recovery, but this requires working recovery... So if you actually can enter recovery then you can also flash anything, which will literally delete everything.
In other case, no, no way. But if you're lucky enough you may break it just by leaving your phone on for some hours in bootloop, haha.

Is there any way to wipe it with magnets or anything? hahah I'm clutching at straws now, but otherwise I'm just left with an expensive paperweight so I'm trying to find anything I can

To be honest think twice before physically crashing your internal memory, as it may void your warranty at all.
I'd try flashing stock firmware through odin, if it doesn't work I'd try flashing anything through recovery. If both of these methods fail just leave your phone in bootloop and hope that it'll automatically destroy everything...
Seriously though, you can either physically destroy internal memory or leave it in bootloop and hope for the best, eventually send them device in current status. Up to you, because you won't have a possibility to do anything else.

If I send it back to them as it is now it'll take them about 20 seconds I reckon before they see the CWM logo, realise its rooted and send it straight back, so I dont know what I'm gonna do hahah
