Sometimes on AOSP ROMs when its not under /data/local/ its usually under /system/media/

On m4 it seems to be under /data/local/ although I can't seem to change the animation I swapped out the zips and renamed the new one to the old one and I still get the bootanimation for

just rooted and did the v6 supercharger (newest one) option 8 and wow my phone flies like never before. and on the stock rom i always seem to have 230 meg of ram free or more. highly recommend!

I wasn't stock rooted as I did have vins installed but I would assume your fine as it was due to binaries which have probably been fix... Give it a shot and if u need to do step two

I'm on viper n ran v6 r9 test15. Has ics settings coded into script. Can only get 50% charger cuz it tells me services get reset every boot??? Something in viper Rom? Have u guys flashed anything other than the Rom itself?

I think you have to run that 99something.sh script as root and at boot so it sticks.

Agrabren has the 3d panel on cm9 working, it just isn't in the framework yet, we just have to see what he did.!

Last I heard in his thread he was going to stay off xda for a few days but still working on cm9. It would be amazing for him to come back in a few days with 3d and 4g working.

As much as i would love and appreciate that (im only 17) my parents are gonna try and get me a blackberry to teach me a lesson if i cant fix the 3vo (omg thats worse than getting me an iphone), they saiid no more phone modding or they cut off my service (i can flash roms and i will continue to maintain my current rom though) , so i have to shut down the porting project. Read the directions carefully. You have to manually paste and overwrite the existing messaging apk in system\app and sometimes fix the permissions of the app afterwards. Don't forget to reboot your device at the end of it all. The website explains in further detail.
