Well that's not strictly true. My device is rooted are there are hacked apk's that work for other devices. Just not for my Xperia s

No not at all it works outside the US on my Nexus 7. People have it working on HTC one X, SGS3 and numerous other devices so no it is not true.

Which is 100% incorrect. Unless you are saying that inside the US the Xperia S works.
If you are saying that then explain how ppl with Xperia S in the US got it to work. If you have nothing useful to add please don't bother responding.

Whatever... Search here and you'll see a couple of dudes made it work in the us on XS. It's a patched apk from modaco or from here, I dunno which one they used. I tried em both and no go outside of the US. Bother with it yaself

I've searched here a lot and couldn't find anyone with an XS getting it to work hence the thread. The hacked APK's don't even install so unless the US XS has a different ROM then the location doesn't make a difference. If it is a different ROM with extra libraries attached then it is also an easy fix (just install the US ROM).
So I'd be very interested to see anyone who has gotten this to work.
Anyone manage to figure this out? I've tried about 4 or 5 different patched versions, i've even tried installing the official version, freezing it in titanium, putting patch over the top and unfreezing but it just uninstalls it. None of the tutorials seem to work for this apk on the xperia s

I would love to see this working. What's the point in having NFC payments in the UK if no UK phones officially support it

Dunno is it possible to use CM with a locked bootloader (bootloader unlock: no)
U can download the app from play store as far as I remember. The name doesn't jump in though, sorry. Try to google it

There u go, but it now freaks out cuz I'm not on CM :-S
Btw shouldn't be hard to remove the rom check, it's a shame I can't do it.
