Hi all,
I have an annoying bug (at least I think it is) with the weather widget. I have disabled 'show current location' but it still shows up in the list of locations. I find it really annoying. Is there any way to remove/fix this?

Hi. I am wanting to use the windy weather live wallpaper but it never seems to refresh to my location. Any tips on getting it to work? Im using rom KH3.

Go to wallpaper settings, change the weather update interval. Work pretty nicely for me.

I think you also need to enable Auto Update option in Accuweather.

I found a thread leading me to the AOSP calendar apk which "works" but doesn't contain the widget nor does it allow me to select which calendars to sync as it force closes.
Does anyone know how to get the AOSP calendar AND widget along with full functionality?

i use the stock calender from here with no issues.

The aosp calendar doesnt have a month view widget only a little 1x1 for upcoming events, you will need to find something on the market for that, android pro widgets is a good one.
It doesn't have a month view but it's 2x1 not 1x1. Using the one from above still gives me the Samsung Agenda widget which I hate.
I've tried that one and I still get a FC every time I try to modify the calendars. You don't?

Nope no force closes here. What rom are u using? Did u set permissions correctly when u pushed it to system?
Android pro widgets from the market gives a good calendar widget and its free.

Still get a FC when I try to select calendar within the app. I pushed it to system/app using File Expert and changed permissions to all read and owner write.

Yeah I've seen it their but even after turned on the weather doesn't show in notification bar I've tried setting a location and just turning it on and leaving it alone.....think a reflash would help it was a great feature

It's not shown in the notification bar, it's at the bottom of the notification shade.
Nope it was their for a day or two now can't do anything to get it back......might try reflash tomorrow

Beautiful widgets has an option to display temp in the notification bar, maybe that's what you're thinking of?

I haven't seen a setting to turn it off. I tried disabling notifications for "network location", no luck. I saw "fuzed location" had it checked but no option to disable. I froze it with Titanium Backup, no luck. It may be imbedded into system ui.
Unless someone knows the setting, or knows a ROM that has that setting, you may be sol

The stock weather widget does not updating automatically depending on your location. It will just update if I press the "use your location" in your in the settings. Is their any option that the location will automatically updates wherever I turn on the mobile data or wifi?

Just remove it and flick up Google now. That nearly always has my home and current locations weather
