Hey, I am a noob. Could somebody tell me how to get the pure Android 4.0 settings on my Xperia U.
Or simply the settings in CM9. Is it as simple as I replace the APK from the FXP's or something but I

I dont think that a simple copy-paste would be enough for that but nothing wrong with giving it a try (Although chances are a bit slim ) Odds are you'll need to edit Settings.apk after decompiling and make alot of edits to get it to aosp style

CM9 is still not 100% ready. And I kinda like the Xperia UI so Ill stick with this for a while I just want to how he got the AOSP Settings working
I was browsing through the themes and apps section and found a while dedicated thread to aosp clean framework. I don't remember the OP but I have the flashable zip. I'm on Mobile now. Will find the thread and link it tomorrow.....
You can search for it too. It was called 'aosp framework'
I remember its title has these words' works on Xperia u, p with caveat'

DO a backup of your ROM ..In case anything happens
To install : Put the file on the sd card and copy it Go to system / app and delete your home .apk and paste the copied file and set permission to rw-r-r

oh cmon thats so old launcher .. used it last year a lot and its free on playstore no need for dropbox files and links etc.

Its the next version dude It has got support for MIUI V 5 themes and the icons are changed and it runs a lot smoother

So I already have the ported launcher, wallpapers and widget pack but to make it comlete, the lockscreen would be great.
I already saw some interesting threads but they were for Xperia devices only, is there any way I can get it to work or does someone want to help me doing so?
I'm running the stock XWLS8 rooted and deodexed ROM with multi-window and ripple lockscreen.

No, I mean the lockscreen of the new Sony Xperia Z, it's very clean and elegant and just just swipe up anywhere to unlock and it has an awesome effect.

i know this might be crazy but i think the JB lockscreen for new Xperia mobile is a step backward
the ICS lockscreen was easier to handle and had more utility such as checking on missed calls and messages and calendar evens without opening the notif bar
alot of threads are about porting JB lockscreen to ICS mobiles but i would like to port ICS lockscreen to my Xperia SP
anyone did that before?

It is not possible. In case you haven't noticed, new lockscreens from all companies do not have slide for messages. Unless you want to use ICS or even an iPhone, you are out of luck.

To this time there are new ROMs for this device.
Also the list could say the restrictions for each ROM based on baseband of the phones or any restriction. That way people can chose the appropiate ROM for their devices.
Also which ROM is stable without errors?

Everyone wants a perfect ROM but almost Noone wants to contribute a bit towards the development of that particular ROM. And secondly that baseband version is in the main thread. I don't understand Y people are so lazy to take a look there.!
