[Q] 3G problems with CyanogenMod 10.1 - WILD FOR THE NIGHT - HTC EVO 3D

I have an Sprint EVO 3D and have updated to the latest CM 10.1 Wild For the Night ROM. I works very well except for the 3G (I don't know about 4G because my area doesn't offer it). All I have is 1x. On stock, 3G works, but every time I flash to CM 10.1, I lose my 3G. Was just wondering if there was any fix for this. My baseband version is 1.09.00.0108. PRL is 21095. Thanks ahead of time

There is no 3G. Just 4G settings. I've flashed this ROM about 10 times. I've flashed back to stock and back to CM 10.1 and no change.

Used ramjet's quick and dirty guide and flashed a PRL. Still says 1x. I'll try some others and report.
EDIT: So I finally got my 3G back. I followed instructions in this thread: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1153371. Thanks so much for everybody's help.

Airplane mode on then off maybe? Backup up data, wipe, install WFTN, and check if the problem is fixed. Restore data if it works.

Google Play Store 3.7.11

I know I released the 3.7.8 ICS Play Store, but here is an even newer version. 3.7.11 is the JB version. Download here: http://db.tt/EL7l7UzP
Forgot to add this note. This version of the store does work on ICS. I assumed people knew that, but my title is probably a little misleading.

Reading decks thread, this 'stable' sounds like a pretty poor build. Broken notification light and no LTE.
hurled from my AOKP'd Evo LTE. Enjoy.
it's been 5 months since release, why release a "Stable" version if it cant do LTE? Why not wait until that is worked out... or can no one figure out how to make this phone keep an LTE connection (LOL)
On CM10 Stable here, LTE is connecting for me without issue. Charging light comes on but no notification light (With SMS recieved/etc)

[Q]turn off LTE newts one xxx 6.0.2

Is there a way to turn off just 4g LTE on newts one xxx? I live in mostly 3g area and don't want the battery drain from the phone searching for LTE signal. I know how to use the menu and change from global to gsm to cdma/lte, but I can't find the option to turn off LTE only of there is one.

no problem. I am using the same rom. It is super smooth now that I removed the ottrbox defender from my rezound. It was cauing my screen to go black when I tried to get things open sometime. I have the otterbox commuter coming.
I finally upgraded from the rls 3.2.1. Ive been on it two days now and I love it. It's super smooth, noticed no lag yet running funky's 1.5 kernel because I like the fast charge since I'm only near a car charger most of the day. But battery life is really good, better than 3.2.1. The only problem I had was the 4g, but ya'll showed me the solution. Newt has arguably the best sense roms out here.

Suggestion Regarding Fast LTE Connectivity

By dialing ##3282#
Going into LTE record
And setting the LTE scan time to 0 works wonders for me
It connected asap as soon as get into LTE area
Setting it to 0 might drain your battery faster than usual though. Setting it to 1 will make it scan every minute for LTE

If you need your MSL, I actually got mine through Sprint Chat.
Just tell them you took an update, you need to do a reset through the dialer menu, and that you lost your MSL that you previously had written down. They gave me the MSL for both of the lines on my account with no questions.

[MOD] ATT Wifi Hotspot

Hey all - Just a simple mod to enable native wifi hotspot for ATT users who are stock/rooted. Flashable in recovery.
wfhs2 is from 1.26.502.10
wfhs3 is from 3.17.502.3 (4.3)
Flash in Recovery (TWRP and CWM should both work), wipe caches (cache and dalvik), reboot.
Will this alert ATT that I am using hot spot? I don't mean the whole packet analysis thing, but will it directly alert them that I am using hotspot? Thanks

While I'm not an ATT employee and cannot confirm 100% - I've used this method for years on multiple devices. As long as you're not abusing it, it should not raise any flags. I wouldn't suggest using it as your home internet service though

Nope. Honestly those are the only two things I did other then unlock, root, cwm recovery. Absolutely nothing else.
The hot spot starts fine, it shows up in people's network, they just hang when trying to connect. I tried on three other smart phones and iPad. With and with out each protection on.
Here is what I'm running. This is what the phone came with.

can't tell you for sure - but try enabling it through settings/more/mobile network sharing. It'll either work or you'll get an error. I think I read that it should work out of the box though..
