I ordered on the 12th. From what I understand, it said more devices will come in on the 23rd. I don't expect it to be shipped out until the 23rd or 24th. Maybe later. I am talking about the developer edition, which one are you talking about?

Yep.. I ordered on the 4th, within 30 minutes of preorders going live, and it shipped the 15th, and is scheduled for delivery tomorrow (today actually) the 16th! woo hoo! they actually shipped priority overnight, which I'm very grateful for!
I just called to change my 64 to a 32 since the 32's are shipping. She said the 64's were NOT on backorder. I told her that the CSR i spoke with when ordering last night said that quantity was -157. CSR said they probably got a shipment Last night or this morning and the 64 still shows to ship 16th-18th. She said my order was sent to the warehouse and couldn't be canceled or changed.

happy for you, sad for me. i followed some advice from someone who had "inside connections" and claimed the 64 wouldn't be shipping in time for the 19th release, or at least, wouldn't have enough units to fulfill many orders at all (in that first batch shipping the 16th). So I ordered the 32, and saved a little money - VERY LITTLE. I also instinctively (due to iPhone release conditioning) assumed the 32 and 64GB models would be $100 apart in price. Had i known it was a paltry $50 DIFFERENCE, on a $600+ item, I'd probably have ordered the 64 and taken my chances. 32 on my iPhone 5 always felt snug, but 64 on my One X+ has always been enough room to do what I like without worrying about deletion. Oh well... i wanted the ONE in my hand ASAP.. knowing myself, I will most likely end up selling the 32GB and buying the 64GB or a developer edition if/when they become available again. counting the hours till delivery (most likely 9 hours, based on prior FEDEX deliveries)
Well Let's Talk is really irritating me! They have no idea when my 64gb dev edition is even coming to the effen warehouse, let alone when it will ship. When I ordered off the HTC website I thought I was ordering from HTC... Now I sit here without a clue as to when I can expect it. I'm picking up an AT&T version too, so if I can unlock it, let's talk can suck it!

I have an order for the 64 GB Prime (Gray) at Amazon and have not received the cancellation notification yet.
However, just to be on the safe side, I also pre-ordered from J&R.
Well, just about 5 minutes ago, J&R called me and told me that the 64 GB (Gray) will not be shipped out until January 2012 due to Asus suspending the shipment.
How is it that I keep reading on here that Gamestop would have it available on December 19 ? Why is it that Asus suspend the Prime on some store and not on others? Strange.

None of the "official" ASUS preorder sites took orders on the 64GB version... I'm wondering if I just shouldn't expect this until mid-January. No date in December for a 64GB version seem to be panning out...

Given that Gamestop is listed as an official preorder destination on Asus' website, and J&R is not, I don't find this all that surprising. There is almost certainly an extra middleman distributor supplying stores like J&R, Adorama, and some of the other sites folks have found to order one, but Asus' commitment is to their official preorder outlets, and making sure they have enough stock to fulfill their preorders.
I haven't received a call from J&R yet, but I figure I will. When did you order yours Earthbrain?
This seems to be the trend. Newegg still seems to be on track, as is gamestop. ASUS is funneling the supply into a more focused retail base, and seems to staying true to their main channel partners.
Certainly no doubt at this point that there is a huge shortage of this thing...what concerns me is that there was such a huge initial preorder allocation, and it isn't that they are running out of preorder slots, it's that the stock just isn't appearing in the supply chain...which in the industry usually means a manufacturing issue.
That is of course unless ASUS just grossly underestimated the demand.

Crap. I ordered mine on Sunday, and I got the 32GB flavor which you would think would be in even shorter supply. I guess I'll call them today.

I'm not sure this forum and those placing pre-orders is a good indicator for demand. The technophiles here may only represent a tiny percentage of the population. I think we'll find out when they hit Amazon or Newegg if they remain in stock.

I'm skeptical of the huge demand as well. I live in a small twin city situation with about 200,000 people within 2 towns 20 miles apart. Between the two Gamestops in my area that sell tablets (there are 3 or 4 GS's per town) there have only been two preorders. Total. Me and one other guy. I will be interested to see the initial sales numbers on this device. I think overall, to the general public, Android tablets have a bad(cheap) name. At the GS in the town neighboring mine the manager said they are about to quit carrying tablets all together due to low demand.
Don't get me wrong though. I think this tablet should be creating some demand and likely will once more normal people see it. I have just not been convinced of it's huge preorder demand as of yet.

Amazon was listed as a "offical" Asus pre-order site, when I ordered my 64GB grey Transformer Prime on 11/22.... current shipping date still says January 9th, as it has since I placed my order.

They don't really seem to know and in fact got their colors wrong on initial pre-orders. Anyway, they claim they are a big retailer and that's true so they expect first availability. I think it is encouraging that they were told a date by Asus for their in stock date.

When my order got canceled on amazon, same day as everyone and I ordered on the 22nd also, I came and order at JR that evening using google checkout. They still haven't called me saying they've canceled. Any chance I'm going to get a 32gb champagne gold? Should I call them and check the date? I don't have much faith in this order.
Yesterday, I put in a preorder at a gamestop location. They say that they are one of the location receiving the prime and I was the first one to preorder at that location. They said that they didn't have any in stock yesterday but expecting to arrive before 19th. I think they only have the 32gb grey. I'll settle for that if I have to. Would like to get what I wanted from JR to avoid tax also, but not getting a good feeling. I've got so many stuff canceled on me this holiday I'm getting pissed.

My guess is that the general public don't really know or care too much about this, it's not like an apple product or anything. Yet, I'm surprise that asus still fail to supply again.

absolutely... as a matter of fact, no one knows about the TP outside the usual geek crowds... i mean, there are no advertisements for the damn thing, so what do you expect, right? haha... contrary to that fact, there are all these shortages and some whack shipment schedules... some sketchy sh!t, that's for sure...

I wonder if the person I spoke with is misinformed? Or perhaps my order will be fulfilled by an earlier shipment than yours would have been? Now I'm a little worried, haha...

If it's important to you, I would hedge my bets and get in the car. The guy I spoke with made it sound as if the Primes in general wouldn't show up until the new year, not that my Prime wouldn't show up until then.
Can't hurt to hang on to your preorder, but I don't think you should count on it at this point.
I thought Newegg was a big Asus dealer? Way it sounds, I am assuming not.
I have been told that they were receiving shipments on December 27 for pre-orders. Then it was pushed to today. Now I am being told that within the next two business weeks, they will be receiving confirmation of when they will receive more.
I guess on the bright side, no one else is getting them either, but doesn't sound like NE got that many to begin with.
Today mine got to the office depot warehouse after ordering on the 20th. 1/5 delivery date. I had been checking up on new egg as well and they never have any updates.

According to them for circumstances beyond their control, they never got them. They will know within 2 weeks when they supposed to get more.
The only reason I am sticking with Newegg is I have a $300 and some change credit.
I might the bullet and pre-order somewhere else and play the waiting game

Preordered the Prime on 12/07, 32G Grey.
Was first told Dec 27, they would have some to ship for preorders. Was then told January 3.
I called them today and was told that they will have confirmation of receiving more within next two weeks.
Hung up the phone and went to Newegg less than 5 minutes after my call and low and behold the 32G grey and champagne was in stock ready to order. And they had a limited offer of a free Asus Carrying case as well.
Ordered and have been charged and is currently in packaging status.
I am pissed because the preorder people have been hung out to dry. Should not be able to just go to site and order if preorders have not been fulfilled.
Did anyone else get a free carrying case as well? My order doesn't show it, but it was there and I will raise hell if I don't get it after what we have been through.

Authorizations always fall off on their own after a few days if the transaction isn't completed. They'll just charge the card when it ships.
Mine hasn't shipped. I preordered on the day or the day after preorders opened up.
i just did an online chat with at&t and they told me that there was no delay with the 64GB versions and should still be shipping between today and thursday

I posted that. The CSR checked the SKU and said it was -157. She didnt know if that was actual backorder or if it was how many total pre-orders.

Yeah the CSR i spoke with today said the same thing. But the manager in a corporate store told me the 64 was on backorder but he could get me the 32. So many conflicting stories from ATT..

I'm assuming(or guessing) that they are coming from a different location since they are online only and that they haven't processed them yet. I'm not worried as I've pre-ordered from ATT in the past and have seen status changes all over the place yet I've still received them early or on time. I guess one exception was the Lumia 920 pre-order...That was a bit of a mess and was back ordered after the fact...lol

When I placed the order I chose to have it shipped to the store which is about 5 blocks from my Job figured that was easier. So I'm not changing my shipping address. Let's hope it gets there by Friday
When your finishing your order, you can change your billing address. Just have to edit your account, thats what I did. Nobody is ever home, so I sent it to my work. My phone arrives tomorrow

I ordered mine on Friday, after normal business hours, so I was really giving them until tonight before I got concerned to change their shipping status away from "Pending."
Checking my credit-card, I can see a pending charge for the phone. If it's really going to take 21 days, I'm seriously thinking of telling AT&T to cancel the order, or I'll have my bank refuse the charge.

Yeah thats what i was thinking, but sadly you can't buy the phone with no contract in the store. So this is the only way for me. Also they dont even have the 64 gb in the store so...I'm outa luck.

Nooo!!! I ordered the 64 on friday too I really don't want to wait that long.
Mine changed the next day. But I ordered the 16th and received the 19th. 64GB as well.

preordered my 64GB one through the premier store on the 4th, shipped on the 16th and arrived on the 18th.
Currently have the 32 GB one which I plan to return. I did order the 64 GB on Monday (online premier) and it also only shows "processing".
Just an update: I called and found out that the phone is backordered and will ship within 14 days. I asked why it doesn't say that or they didn't contact me, and they said they're not "required" to. Nice job AT&T. Nice job.
I'm in the same boat. 64gb ordered last Friday. Maybe this is good anyway. New stock might have the fit and finish issues worked out. Yeah I'm pissed too, but at least there might be an upside!

The reps told me the exact same thing, but i think it also depends on the warehouse if it got its shipment in, reps told me max of 3 days of waiting yesterday when i called

Oh, one more thing. Did you get an email notification and, if so, did you get it before or after you noticed that it has shipped on AT&T's website. I just want to know if there's any point in all of this refreshing

Yes i got an email saying my order has been shipped, But around 2 hrs after att's order site updated. Mine is being shipped via USPS
Whoo! My 64gb has shipped! I don't have time to post a screenshot right now, but if anyone wants to see one, I will later. Apparently it went out yesterday at around 6 PM and will arrive sometime tomorrow. So hopefully it gets here before one o'clock because that's when I'm leaving to go out of town.

There doesn't seem to be a ton of us on here but I can't keep up with the google orders getting shipping confimations and pending. I ordered 64 gb aluminum on October 14th. Early November expected. Since first batches were said to ship when Google does.

I ordered on 9/30 32gb graphite. When I ordered it said shipping late October. Though both times I live chatted with reps I got different answers. One said they were shipping the same time as Google, and the other said first week of November. I'm combining the two answers and going with any day now lol

I orders 64GB graphite on 10/19. No shipping info other than early Nov.
I ordered on Oct.1, 2015 using affirm. It has been processing every since. Went to affirm website. They want their first payment even if the phone is still processing I guess. Google was just sold out and I was glad to save on the tax. I will just pay it all out and avoid the interest if I like it and decide to keep it.
I ordered on 9/30 the 64 GB Graphite version right before I canceled my 32 GB Graphite version on Google. It still says Processing but my AMEX has already been charged.
Ordered on 9/30, 32gb aluminum. Talked to representative who said early November or might be late October. He wasn't sure.
I was told early on that they would ship at the same time as Google and have a different batch than Google's. So I assume that when people from Google orders that ordered around the same time frame as you (I ordered on 9/29), then that's when you will get a shipping email. People who have already had theirs shipped are the ones who ordered within seconds of it going live on google and most people didn't order from huawei till the 29th since we didn't even know they would sell direct. I'd estimate them to ship out sometime next week for those who ordered when it said late October.
I ordered an Aluminum 64GB on 10/19. I was very late preordering. I tried to order late night of 10/16 but they were out of 64GB, then they put some back on 10/19 but I was able to get 1 before sold out of 64GB again with in a few hours.
Even though I preordered pretty late when I did order it still said Early November. So I'm guessing mine will be shipped mid or late 1st November week. But who knows maybe myself and us in this thread will be surprised early. After all its pretty clear much less ordered from Hauwei, therefore a lot less volume of product for them to ship. Meaning takes less time. That's what I'm hoping for.

Typically 'early' means before the 14th.
Let's hope it's before that. I read somewhere (lost track where) that they'll be shipping between the 4th and 11th.

Well my case on Amazon isn't in stock until the 5th. So guessing they are going to ship the phone on the.... 2nd. And hopefully from somewhere local. I love in Missouri.
I ordered my 64GB Graphite through Huawei and I have no received no further communication. Not even an order confirmation email. I checked my spam folder and there is nothing there either. They have, however, charged my AMEX on Oct 11.
I guess I should call them?
Also. Useful info I was mad about at first. To track your order status from gethuawei.com you must be on the desktop view. Scroll all the way down to "track order" under "account"
Yeah. Call em. Pretty sure they shut their live chat down. Tried 2 days in a row and said they had high volume, try again later or leave a message.

I'm same as you, but ordered 64gb graphite on 10/20. Credit card was charged 2 days after. Web site indicated shipping early November. Still says processing. With the free shipping Huawei provides, I'm not expecting the phone until at least mid November.
I did order the Google Nexus case from the Google Store yesterday and it shipped last night lol
I order mine on the 29th using affirm I still haven't received a email on shipping date
Believe it or not, while it hasn't shipped, it let me place an order for the 64GB in Aluminum. This was at 8pm last night. The night before, the phone was out of stock on both there, & Google.
