My phone has been in this condition for weeks now and I cannot seem to find a solution. Any ideas at all?

That's right, you understand. and perhaps I just don't know what it means but, I don't think it "freezes" on the 4GLTE screen, it loads until that screen and then continues to be animate, rings appearing and disappearing, loading indefinitely. I don't know if that's anything different, but just in case that clarifies anything.
and I tried http://forum.xda-developers.com/show....php?t=2040264 but to no avail. it always fails @ or immediately after the RECOVERY step.
Any ideas?

OK. I have had my Atrix 4G since it first came out. I rooted it and installed apps and made customizations to it, etc.
I never installed a custom ROM since the tweaks I made fit my taste enough to not need to install a custom ROM. I have thought of it...but that is for another time.
Anyways, I recently changed fonts on using FontChanger and everything was working fine. However, last night I decided to change to another font and after rebooting my phone, I am now stuck in the ever so pleasant "Boot Loop".
I have tried wiping and restoring back to factory defaults, which appeared to work, but once I start going thru the process of setting up the phone and getting to the "home" page, the phone will suddenly automatically reboot and start to loop again. I can perform a reset which allows me to go thru the setup process again, but it suddenly reboots again after a few minutes.
I am guessing that perhaps the font is still causing problems, but I am not sure how to check to see if that is the case or not.
I have looked at other boot loop threads but I keep getting a bit confused as to what I should attempt or not attempt to do. It seemed to me that loading the 1.2.6 SBF might be my answer, but I have read that I could brick my phone doing that. Not to mention that some of the download links are dead....
Sorry for being yet another numbnutz and the long thread, but I would greatly appreciate some guidance on how to recover!
Thanks!
Ok... So after resetting my phone a few times I noticed that it goes into the boot loop cycle once the screen shuts off/or goes into sleep mode. If I keep the system from going to sleep everything appears to work fine.
My guess is still a font issue, but I thought a factory reset would've replaced the font back to default.
Anyone experience this issue or something similar to it?
And as a second thought can someone link me to the default fonts that I can try to reload?
UPDATE: well it looks like i am good to go again. It just occured to me that I can just download and use FontChanger to replace the bad font with the stock font. i let me phone go to standby mode and it didnt boot loop.
MODERATOR - Please feel free to close this thread as I believe I solved my own problem.
Hey all, this is my first post on this forum. I registered just to let my voice be heard.
Let me just say that I have done extensive research into these problems but I don't want to brick my phone so I want to know the direct steps for me.
OK my problems are:
Upon turning on the phone the original Motorola logo is gone and is instead replaced by:
"Unlocked. PwrReason: PWR_KEY_PRESS. OS will boot in 5 seconds. Press a key to stop countdown. Avaliable Modes are: " and lists 14 different modes I can choose
This happened after I accidentally deleted my pds folder or something of the sort. I must've partitioned something accidentally and as a result my phone did not boot the next time around. It booted after I did a battery pull but gave me the next problem.
Upon booting into CM10.1 I noticed that the soft keys would not work. The entire screen was recognized as one big touch surface.
I deduced that some file was deleted which makes the screen recognize the soft keys, so I proceeded to do some research into it. The methods I saw to do were doing some sort of pdsfix which is not recommended unless necessary, which in my case is very necessary. I can boot into Romracer's recovery (5.0.2.7 I believe it is) as well as my OS. Everything is working except for those problems I listed. I am not sure if my phone can boot into fastboot but I can try. Please post your answers because I really need to get my phone working perfectly again. At this point, it is only useful for texting and a little music (and settings). I can't go into much else without restarting the phone each time (you must know why).
EDIT 15/04/13
-----------------------------------------------------------
I just flashed pdsfix(gingerbread).zip and I am now able to use my phone at normal speeds and even overclock if necessary. I was running epinter's CM10.1 Rom
Fixed half the problem!
Okay so after many hours of trying, I managed to install the drivers for fastboot on my computer and did the fix for the pds file.
First I downloaded moto-fastboot.zip and extracted to my C:/ drive.
Then I tested if my device was recognized. It didn't recognize it at all, so I went into device manager.
In device manager there was my problem. I saw fastboot with a yellow exclamation sign. I right-clicked it and directed it to where I had previously downloaded fastboot drivers. (Found them here: FASTBOOT DRIVERS
It installed nicely and when I tried the commands listed in Method 2 on this page PDS Partition Fix it worked perfectly!
So I proceeded to restart the phone, no issues. But the Motorola logo at the very beginning is still not there. It says unlocked at the top left and displays the same options as before. The phone is still fully functional without it, but I want to get it back. I will be doing more to fix this though.
But the best part is that, my soft-keys are working perfectly! I do notice a little lag in the system but that will be fixed soon. Hope this helped anyone who didn't know what to do.
P.S. If you find a way to restore the Motorola logo on boot, please tell me!

Perfect! Thanks much for finding that for me. I now have the problems fixed except that my cpu won't clock above 608 mhz even when I put the min clock slider higher than that value.
I suspect that perhaps I flashed the froyo pdsfix instead of gingerbread. Maybe that is causing the problem. I'll try and post my results soon.
My Atrix 4g is fixed!!
Wow I can't believe I finally fixed it! It was as I suspected. After downloading the pdsfix(gingerbread).zip I rebooted my phone into fastboot and proceeded to flash the zip. And who would've guessed it? I am now able to clock at usual speeds including the 1000MHz of old ^_^. I am sooo glad I found this forum. If anyone had similar problems you can try the steps I did.
P.S. For the record I was running epinter's CM10.1 Rom for the Atrix 4g. I may go to Neutrino's in the near future, but I am just glad to have my phone back in working order :laugh:
So i have a galaxy s5, was running Cyanogenmod 12
my phone was freezing and rebooting then eventually it was stuck and would only boot into download mode
so i cut my losses and flashed stock 4.2 and 5.1.1 (files from samMobile matched model number) and the problems persist
cleared cache and factory reset multiple times and booting in safe mode doesn't fix anything
the phone freezes on samsung splash screen usually mid animation, sometimes i get to tmobile screen when it freezes.
sometimes it will boot without any problems and work normally for a few seconds then freeze and shut off into the same loop
i have searched and can't find any advice past (flash stock and your good )
oh and knox counter 0X1 (2) so no warranty for this guy.
What a helpful forums
I would recommend taking out your sim card and memory card before doing a factory reset. Once done let it boot and see what happens. If it works ok aka boots fine let it sit for 10 min. Now power it down and put your sim card in only and boot up again. Wait the 10 mins again to see if anything happens. If all good power off and put the memory card back in and repeat. Also do not sign into your google account while doing this. Do not sync anything. Just do it bare bones. If everything seems to go well, then you can slowly start putting stuff on and syncing things. when you notice it starting to happen undo the last thing you change/added. Hope that helps. And remember to be nice. Sometimes it takes a while to get help. Being rude isnt the answer pal. Good luck and hope you had a good holiday.

after all that, doesnt it sound like a problem with hardware? sure is a lot like when a pc is malfunctioning (due to overclock or damage, etc)
my only ideas are try turning it on in cold weather, plugged into wall power, & an extreme case... maybe modifying a kernel to give a little more voltage to the cpu & gpu... the idea is a bit out there, but again with the pc example, there's a chance for it to do the trick, but also chance to accelerate damage IF it's entirely based on usage (but if it's dying already, there's no going back)
my pc gpu failed in an interesting way a few years ago, i was playing limbo of all things, not a demanding game, capped at 60fps, then the whole system froze randomly, so i restart, start game again, froze again, think i had one more go until artifacts appeared on screen & it froze/bsod'd as soon as the driver loaded, a clear hardware death
Same Problem

I am having the same problem. Any other advice. I have flashed with odin F0G6 stock firmware.
Phone: HTC Desire 12
Hi everyone, looking to see if someone can possibly share their knowledge and possibly guide me through some steps I could try on the android system to possibly recover my phone which is "stuck in loops" basically. Either stuck on the HTC screen and when you turn it off it switches back on instantly, or stuck in => FASTBOOT mode... and not progressing anywhere.
All started during a pair with my other phone as I was going to start using the Desire 12 and everything was moving across, then all of sudden the glowing white rings appeared on the screen and it was erasing all data, why this happened just out of the blue I do not know, these continued for quite some time then the battery on the run out and phone is basically stuck at either the HTC screen, No command or Fastboot.
I can get into the Android recovery and have tried clearing cache, resetting etc. however it then returns to the HTC screen
Top of the Android recovery screen states:
Android Recovery
htc/htc_bre_dug1_00401/htc_breeze_dug1
7.1.1/N6F26Q/181016
Bottom states:
Supported API: 3
No .zip file in internal sdcard
Do any of you possibly think the phone can be rectified? I have tried different things all to no avail, so hoping you guys can possibly help.
Thanks in advance.

maybe an EDL with test points ?
Morning Folks.
3 Days ago (Saturday) I received my Pixel 6 (Vodafone UK), Sunday evening, the device turned itself off, only noticed in the morning when the alarm didn't go off.
I eventually received my E-Sim from Vodafone yesterday (Monday Morning), All was fine during the day until the evening. The device rebooted, after the reboot I entered my pin, and non of the apps would work, the device rebooted again. After this reboot then I would have 3-5 seconds before it would reboot again.
Went into Fastboot and WIpe/Formatted device... This did not make any difference, it would reboot at the welcome screen instead.
My questions.
Has anyone came across this before on the pixel 6?
The last phone I updated firmware was the Galaxy I5700, and I noticed ADB on the fastboot section, Is it possible to get a Vodafone UK Image for the pixel 6 and reflash it?
The only way this could happen is that you tried to boot a modified boot.img or the system UI was changed.
I do not think you are telling us the whole story here. Missing information.
Try booting in SAFE MODE.

Afternoon
Thanks for the reply. Nope literally the above happened as is, I've no interest in a new ROM, changing any file system, or changing UI... Actually one thing I did change was changing the Icons to Themed Icons(beta mode) or something, this was within Settings, but could not tell you exactly where. Wouldn't think this would affect anything else tho.
I am unable to boot into safe mode. I have wiped the device, and the next reboot takes me to the Welcome Screen (Get your Device Ready) then a few seconds later, it reboots. The reboot afterwards might not even take me to the welcome screen and just get stuck on the Google Logo.
Anyway I've nipped to Vodafone today and the guy at the desk checked it out, going back for a warranty job, he managed to get it to boot to the main screen, but the screen was doing things by its self, and again rebooting for him. See how this goes and maybe they will find the issue.
