Hey hey hey guys, now you can make full use of 8 megapixels in Xperia p. Today I discovered a way to deal with macro images with flash. This is a bug in Xperia p.
Open up your camera and take a shot of dark macro image, you will see half black shade on image

that is really bad, no problem, press power button and volume up until you feel One vibration now let your phone fully start. Now open up your camera and change auto scene recognition to normal. Change focus mode to multi focus mode. That's it capture and enjoy. Dont forget to leave feedback.

I'll try this tomorrow

LOL you don't need to restart because the bug is only on 8mp auto mode, problem is still here if you put automode back

Hi everyone;
I am a new atrix user. I'm using atrix att version with rooted 4.5.91 rom and my phone is unlocked. All of atrix photos on the net, it seems like it has face detection. But i couldn't find any settings for this and autofocus befor press the shutter.
İs there any way to enable this two features.
Thanks

unless you read somewhere that it has face detection, then I really don't believe it has face detection.
you can, however, move the focus point around. which is probably what they did in that pic.
Self Portrait - Puts camera in face detection mode and will automatically take a photo of your face or any face it locates in the viewfinder. You will not be able to press down and use the camera's capture button in this setting. Camera takes photo automatically when faces are found. All resolution sizes are allowed.
Yes, yes i realise that there is no such mode on the camera... but motorola
says there is... https://motorola-global-portal.cust.../69959/~/atrix---camera-use-&-troubleshooting
On a separate note, I believe it was removed in the 2.3 update
There is no face detection for international ATRIX. But I don't know about any of the other ATRIX

I'm really enjoy the Xperia S, but one problem I have is that the camera seems to easily go out of focus and then I move it a little and it will focus then unfocus again. using the autofocus button fixes it, but its still annoying have to deal with this.
Sometimes when focusing on a close object then away it can take a while to refocus...
Has anyone else experienced this, or could it be a fault?
Have AF trouble with video, but not with stills.
I think the issues I have also are found when filming, but I haven't test this fully yet.
yeah its crazy sometimes
I have FX camrea zoom.. works a muillion times better than the built in camera
Try using infinity auto focus.

Yes , the focus is slower than arc and take long time to take a picture in certain moment .
But the trade is you will get perfect white balance with nice photo clarity .

Hi !
I bought a Xperia P last week. The phone works perfectly but the status bar LEDs are somewhat rare. I have seen in other images that LEDs illuminate some more, some less etc...
Is it a problem ? I do not care, but I wonder if it is a defect

I own an Xperia U, and my led band illumination covers the entire strip. First try an app called leds u ctrl.
Mind it only for root users.
If that didn't work, get the phone checked.
Times when my led lights up(stock)
1. When I touch the navigation buttons.
2. Lights up in album according to photo.
3. Lights up in music player according to album art.

On my first Xperia P, the "back" button did not iluminated at all, Sony replace a new (my current) Xperia P, which works all right, but the "options" key light seem to be a bit softer in comparisson with the other 2 keys, so my guess is that it is (sadly) normal.
Curiously, as you see in the picture, the three lights are a different color :S
friends could help me clear my few things about the camera when take photos in the dark...
with this settings Superior Auto - 8mp - 4:3
It is normal a picture like that?

That's really very poor! Wipe the camera and try again... Did u unlock bootloader without backing up the drm keys? If so then that's what it is deatined to.. Else Superior Auto takes awesome pics.. Try another location

Remove any "screen" protector, thin or thick they cause problems. If not, the Flash light is bleeding; maybe because of poor assembly after the back was removed.
