this is great news....
this is a matter of time for we have 3.0.8 kernel for ower phones...i think...
this means fully working cm 10 and 10.1 roms....

We can use it on stock also .. When 3.0.8 available the base of every custom kernel change to 3.0.8 instead of 2.6 which we are using now

And in fact now all work good.

Hi there,
I am pretty sure you have got many replies in here.
Actually you can flash kernels above roms, just download a kernel that suits your needs and flash it using flashtool or flashboot.
As you are using an ICS ROM, any ICS kernel will do. I am myself using Alliance kernel, it has got pretty good battery backup and can be overclocked too.
Previously I was using suave kernel, thats good too, You can try it out yourself, Suave is pretty good as I have been using it on my Neo V since 4-5 months, just today I moved to alliance, which I am pretty much enjoying

Hi , for Neo v pleas be patient android 4.3 is in developement for all 2011 line (only xperia play excluded)
i am waiting reports of the v001 for neo if it work correct will make a version for neo V too

The answer is no, because if its possible sony would already include 3.4 kernel in the jb update. The others have 3.4 kernel except P and Go

Dude Sony also said no JB for XU because of Low hardware. But see here in XDA every version after ICS is ported to XU.

Im not sure but I think ST Ericsson included support for 3.4 linux kernel but you just have to find branch.
