[Q] AWS support ? - AT&T LG Optimus G

Everyone keeps saying the hardware of this phone is the same as the Nexus 4, so I was wondering if someone knows if it has support for the AWS frequencies ?
Maybe after I flash a Nexus 4 ROM ?
Thanks

No.

Can AWS frequency work on a Korean Galaxy Note shv-e160s ?

Sorry if this is in the wrong section or has been answered I looked but couldn't find anything on this device.
Can AWS frequency work on a Korean Galaxy Note shv-e160s ?
I am with Wind Mobile in Canada they use the same frequency as T-Mobile in the USA.
I know that the AT&T GN can be made to work with AWS frequency but I am curious if the Korean version has this capability ?
I would rather not brick the phone by trying the directions for the AT&T version and it failing, so will the same instructions work ?
Is it even possible ? Can someone point me too or tell directions for this device.
Thank You.

Perhaps it would be good to wait for T-mo LTE.... should be soon depending on where you are.

can do a speed test? are you even getting 3g?
no, I just get 2g, but the convert to nexus 4 work well, just like I am using nexus 4, lg optimus g and nexus 4 are brother, why the 1700mhz can not be activate even when I convert to n4?
t-mo does not even use 1700 on their Nexus4.

Go to specs tab and read the bands.
band 4 aws is 1700mhz
lg OG have 4g lte on band 4 but tmobile use band 4 but doesn't have lte

is there a hidden menu we can use to enable those bands? i currently have the n4 and i can get into with *#*#4636#*#*
can you guys with the og use that code?

You know, I have tried this code before on here and it didn't work (which is funny because I thought it was deep in android).
After you type the last * the code vanishes from the dialer like it is going to run, but nothing comes up. I can get into some of the other dialer secret menus though, for instance, I was able to get into the network lock menu using 2945#*970#.
since I convert OG to nexus 4, I can use *#*#4636#*#*, but when I change the prefer network to lte, it comes up with no signal,

Well the N4 doesn't have LTE... so yeah, that makes sense.
It is even stated in the conversion post the LTE doesn't work.
The hardware may be there but your new MakOG doesn't know that.
Does anyone know if the radio in the Optimus G E970 is identical to the one in the Nexus 4? If it is, then the Nexus 4 conversion would make the device compatible with T-Mobile's AWS bands for 3G.

[Q] How to enable LTE BAND 7 (2600 MHz) on NEXUS 5 LG-D820

Hello guys.
I've been reading many posts here about my question, but did not find any conclusive and/or step-by-step answer.
So, the thing is I bought a NEXUS 5 D820 and, here in Brazil, the LTE network is just in the BAND 7 (2600 MHz), which is not included by factory in the D820 (just in the D821).
Some posts said i can flash the modem of the D820 so I can enable the LTE band 7, but i really dont understand how.
So, someone can help me?
Thanks!

I'll answer your question.
You can't. Although there is a way to enable LTE bands 3 and 8, there is no band 7 for the D820. Only the D821 supports this band.
Now, OP, this question belongs in the Nexus 5 forums as it isn't even related to Android.

[Q] Carrier support?

Does anyone know which carriers the LTE Nexus 9 will support?
Bump, which Lte bands are supported

[Q] Neuxs 9 LTE Versions

How many Nexus 9 LTE versions are there? US + International or just global ?
I'm thinking of buying one from US and ship it to Europe. Does anyone know if the LTE bands are compatible ?
Thanks
One for all or two/none for Nexus 9 LTE bands
I've been researching this, but I don't have a definitive answer. Also the fact that the Nexus 9 driver binaries are on a separate portion could mean that the modem configuration is on a more secure partition where a new one can't be flashed. Have you found out otherwise or did you go ahead and import one?
