My suggestion is to flash sense 3.6 ROM just because 3d works. If you're selling it, you'd want to have fully working phone and it's 3d phone

Just run the ruu. That will make your device completely stock.

I use Mwakious and it'great. I could also recomend Coolexes v 14. Most of sense 3.6 ROMs are pretty good and bugless. Try few of them and choose which one suits your phone the best.

Wow, I didn't see you're CDMA... Look in CDMA section for ROMs, they are as good as GSM

Hi guys i have a question i have HTC EVO 3D GSM rooted S-On (via HTCDev) i tried couple of ROMs like virtuous Eclipse RC2 and anrylarom 14 ICS they both are pretty awesome with everything working except Wi-Fi (maybe i was doing it wrong but i tried on both ROMs but neither of them have Wi-Fi) so anyway i have a question what is the best ICS ROM with 2D Camer (if there isnt 3D id dont care alot) bluetooth WIFI dialer and i wouldn't mind sense 4.0 those are the most important features to me if there is a good ROM with those feature you know please help me and thank you for your help.

i tried the Newts One S for the HTC EVO 3D but i couldn't flash it for some reason every time i try to flash it,it says operation aborted,i think cause its not for the GSM version only for CDMA if there is another way to flash it (beside CWM) please tell me and i dont really care about 3G/4G or 3D.

DO NOT flash CDMA stuff on GSM phones (or vice-versa!)
Both the mentioned ICS u have tried, have working WIFI...
Did U flash the firmware?
Use virtuous' sense 3.6 rom if your GSM Newts sense 4.0 or the virtuous 3.6 CDMA equivalent.
3.6 for functionality, 4.0 to see whats coming.
With you being S-ON, why don't you just run alpha rev if your h-boot is the right one, if not then downgrade.
Attain S-OFF and if your GSM i know that Virtuous' sense 3.6 works very well, everything works and it's very quick, although the best in everyone's eyes isn't the same thing.

But to answer your question, I would say MeanROM (with Gingerbread) or the newer MeanROM ICS. The original MeanROM will be more stable.

In my humble opinion, the 2 best choices...hands down, are d3rp (nice theming) and Mikvirgin (more stock look). Both include all features and system apps available, including tweaks and beats audio. I highly suggest that you try either or both!

What would be most stable ROM (custom or stock), I would like to use AWS (1700 & 2100 MHz) hardware supports it but roger had locked it I guess in ROM.
I loaded custom ICS ROM from Team Kang, it has bugs, no 3D support.
what would give me all features of the phone including 3D camera etc.
if nothing out for ICS, then please let me know older version without restriction & supports 3D as well as AWS.

AWS block?
Anyone, feel free to correct me if I'm wrong, but the GSM EVO 3D doesn't support AWS. It's not locked, it just doesn't have the antenna for it.
mwakious is cool rom, recomended from me,
but now im running a MIUI official from MIUI.com

yep, that's what I loaded... I just love it "so far".
I think the HTC EVO 3D GSM phone does carry hardware to support AWS

I have got problem, my Evo 3d GSM sometimes restart (not a bootloop) on custom rom (I have tested Virtuos and CM10). Did anybody meet someting like this?

I think everyone has had that issue one time or another, you flash as many roms as possible until you find the correct combination, rom and kernel. I will give you a pointer and that is avoid any kernel thats available on xda gsm threads or roms. Not going to say why but they are problematic. I am using a kernel that's not available on xda and I haven't had any issue with crashes, reboots or my phone turning off. I found the combination of venom sense 4.1 and the other kernel is stable as a rock

How does rooting/getting custom firmware on the V work?
I went to the store to buy a no-contract phone today, and ended up going with the Evo V. It seemed like an in-freakin-credible deal. 139$ for a 4G phone with a dual core processor? Yes puh-leeze.
Anyways, so I've had an HTC before (hero), which I rooted/firmwared up and loved it, but I can't find a specific forum for the Evo V.
I know it's identical to the Evo 3D except it has 4G capabilities + launched with different software, so what rooting guide/firmwares can I install? Do ANY that work for the 3D work for the V?

EVO V is 3D for Virgin Mobile. I've had both and hardware is identical. Software settings slightly different. For root follow Ramjet's guide at the top of this very section. Lot of the people in EVO 3D section have EVO V now. An easy beginning step is to root with HTC method, use 4 ext recovery and flash Midnight Rom. It's configured for Virgin. Then move to S-off if you want. Or straight to it depending on your skill level. It will allow you to flash Jelly Bean ROMS.

You can root and optionally get S-OFF for an Evo V 4G with this guide.

Now I'm wondering, what's the current state of JellyBean roms. I hear that 4.2 will have group MMS messaging that plays nice with iPhones, which I would love.
Are there any working Evo 3D 4.2 ROMs?
If not, what's a ROM that's totally working, stable, and very fast. I'm not worried about bells and whistles.

You could try dastin's CM 10.1 (Wild For The Night) or Evervolv, both of which are 4.2.1 ROM's and very stable.
If you would like more advice about ROM's we have a thread here for that.
