The stock kernel has write protection so if you try to remove the bloat it comes back on reboot. The only way to get it off is flash a kernel that has the security disabled.
I'm running the Renovate rom from the Intl One forums and that kernel has security disabled and works fine on the AT&T version

Sorry, I don't spoon feed or do anyone's work for them. There is a thing called search. I would have to go through the same stuff to pull it up as you and I already left work for the day, I dont need to be someone's personal xda search bot.
Just hide them... Why the eff jump through all those hoops? You have plenty of storage. Hide them and disable them from running. Problem solved.

You are running both the Rom and kernal from the international version or only the unsecured kernal on your att version?

Yes, I'm running both the ROM and the Kernel. I flashed the kernel in fastboot then rebooted directly into recovery from the bootloader and flashed the rom zip.
Also, After I did, I opened Dropbox and a few min later got an email saying I got the 25gb for 24 months that you get with the international. Everything works as well. Calls, texting, MMS, LTE. I haven't found an issue running the rom or kernel yet :good:
I froze all the apps and they are gone even after reboot

I've spent the last 2 days trying to fix my mistake. I have the GS2 ATT version, and I didn't realise there was a difference between that and the GTI9100 S2.
I wanted to give some tips I learned on how to recover your phone if you make this mistake.
First, here are some posts you'll want to look at:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1286432 - Stock firwmware
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1285823 - Clockworkmod for the ATT
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1286192 - Cyanogenmod for our phones.
Using Odin and the stock firmware, you can recover your phone to a 95% working state. Once I got my stock firmware on there, I found that while making calls my phone made no sound, and the mic didn't work. The mic did work when I wasn't making calls though.
I reflashed the modem.bin file found on the stock firmware, not sure if its required but that is what I did first. Then, I unpacked the rooted stock firmware, and flashed JUST THE zImage file. After doing this, I rebooted, and my calls were working again.
After that, I installed the correct version of Clockworkmod, and then CM7 nightly. Now everything seems to be running great on my phone.
Hope this helps someone out there,
-Orbital

Those are NOT for our version of the GS2, International only. Our version is here in the development forum.

Yes, it will return a status error 7 which means it's unmatched. Ask me how I know. I flashed international roms last night and used this fix to get me good again.
I flashed a KE7 I9100 build to my I777 and saw no ill effects other than incorrect capacitive button mapping. Which build did you flash? Did you make sure to wipe data factory reset afterwards.
So you are saying that you wre able to flash Euro ROMS and your phone booted just fine? Mine didnt boot at all. Did you flash the KERNEL for ATT on top of it ?

The simple thing would be to change out the sec_touchkey.kl with rootexplorer and take the sec_touchkey from system/usr/keylayout should fix the i9100 rom to work with the i777. Seeing as how this worked for the Captivate *i897* for jvr, jvs, and jvt darkyrom releases and I would assume that it would work.

Personally I would think that you had a bad flash? Did you flash through Odin or CWM? From what I have been reading the gb bootloaders between the i777 and i9100 are different and I can see if you used a custom i9100 rom flashing via cwm could cause that. Since I am not too sure on the sgs2 if the differences between the euro models versus the carrier locked, the Kernel will not fix the button mapping, I learned this with the captivate when I switched over to using DarkyRom jvr and jvs builds since they were the most stable of GB for the i897 captivate. Plus if you are going to run a i9100 rom, I am sure the modem will not work with the att kernel. Especially if the situation with the cappy is any indication that att kernel needs att modem and i9000 kernel needs i9000 modem. I will be able to know more as soon as I get my i777 tomorrow.

Did the same thing and made it back to ATT version and running CM7 for now. Still have an I9100 boot screen with a yellow logo. How do I get rid of that?
SO why do you say this flashes you back to 95%? Is there no 100% return to stock fix?

Some people need to wipe or also flash the modem for 100%.
Also, people who managed to flash a bootloader without hardbricking can't get back to stock with any confirmed method.
I have posted bootloader dumps, but no one has flashed them and I'm not messing with trying to flash them. They are dumps from my device and that is the ONLY guarantee I provide for them.

Whatever ROM you flashed go back to the original thread and look for the kernel.
The ROM i am using recommends CWMFauxKernelv007 but that did not help or maybe i am doing it wrong? I just copied boot file form CWMFauxKernelv007 and flshed it with Easy Kernel Flasher. Did it 2 times and still no Data.
Flashed stock ROM back and 4G is back. Looks like APNs are gone. Is that something i must do every time since i am using T-Mobile ROMs?
Is this rom working in turkey
So starting yesterday my droid dna has been stuck in a boot loop. I just bought it about 5 days ago.
It was rooted and running supercharged HTC sense rom and stock kernal.
I tried everything I could find online.
I relocked bootloader and restored rom using the RUU exe that everyone links, I re-unlocked installed the rom again to see if that would work and it allowed maybe 2 full boots out of 100+ tries occasionally it booted up and had several crashes on the supercharged that included the custom AC!D sound mod adn the UI would lock up if I tried to make or answer a call. I tried re-restoring with the RUU. all fastboot commands worked fine with no error on restoring the bootloader and recovery etc.
NOTHING is working. Please help for the love of my brand new droid dna which has already boot looped...
Have you tried just restoring from your backup? The one you made before flashing the rom
And just curious. Did you dirty flash it? What recovery are you using?

You're supposed to use the kernel that's supplied with the rom, not the stock kernel.

There's a discussion in that thread about the developer including the kernel in the rom, doing that won't flash the kernel. It doesn't look like the instructions were updated to reflect that. Try Supercharged Hatka, made by the same developer along with Mustafa.
I managed to get it to boot up as stock with a 2nd relocking using fastboot oem lock and the RUU.exe. Haven't had any issues yet. I will see if anything goes wrong. Made a few calls and restored off gmail account.
Now that you got it running don't use that Rom this time, try Supercharged Hatka or Viper.

I even asked the guy in the thread if the rom is stable on stock kernal and he stated that it was. I didnt read the whole thread but I didnt see anything about a kernal included. I know some are running cubed with it. Regardless, it worked fine on my device, I went back to stock just because Im looking to try out viper or hatka

Maybe. There are so many boot.img files floating around things get mixed up and sometimes you forget what kernel you're running until you look at the About phone menu. It would be nice if they could be named appropriately.

Yours looks stock. Covxx said he put DSBs kernel in the rom but it has to be flashed separately to apply it, therefore DSBs kernel is not flashed and you remain on the stock kernel. Dsb has his name in the kernel version when you look at About Phone.

I recently tried to install a new kernel, but it didn't work. The problem was that I had already installed the kernel modules for the new kernel but had flash the stock one. So now the Wifi did work but I had no connection to the cellular network nor could I send text messages or phone anybody.
My solution was just to get the stock modules and paste them into /system/lib/modules and delete the old ones. And well it did work but now my wifi doesn't work. All it says, after about an hour trying to switch on wifi, is: Error
I'm running the stock rom (jb, sense 4+) and the kernel (1.17.401.1)
These are my current modules:
https://www.dropbox.com/sh/73wpj9d7uy3fqvt/eKgvhcKmeF
Download Nik3r's stock kernel with embedded modules, elite kernel, or hx0re. All great with multiple purposes.
Hope to have helped.

Download:
- G900A_OF2_Stock_ROM_for_G900T
Instructions:
- Flash with TWRP (knox 0x1) or FlashFire (knox 0x0).
- No need to wipe, the ROM will perform a factory data reset during the flash. Backup your User Data prior to flashing.
- The ROM requires a 5.0 bootloader therefore you must be on the OB1 or OF6 bootloader for it to run.
- Allow 10 - 15 mins for first boot.
Tip: For faster speed turn off animations from Developer Options!
Optional:
- G900A_OF2_TetherAddOn
- G900A_OC4-OF2_Batch_DeBloater (Customizable)
Kernel:
- G900T, stock, OB1 kernel
Known Issues:
None!
Uploaded new ROM using the G900T stock, OB1 kernel, instead of the G900A OF2 kernel, for better battery life. The ROM required a couple of minor tweaks in order to work flawlessly on the stock OB1 kernel. Those that downloaded the original ROM may want to download the latest version.

Why not? As long as it works properly, I'm all for devs using a different rom base to create something new. I'm using one of the ATT custom roms on my G900T right now.
Of course, if you NEED wifi calling, this isn't the rom for you.
