So here is the thing,
I have two Goophone's I5 ( Yes the one and only and best original copy of the Iphone 5 ) and have it up and running.
Since I wasn't allowed to post a full review of this phone in the market place I will add it here and with some questions.
So the review.
First I kick off with the negatives.
1: GPS - Have issues with it.
2:Light to make a photo in dark is poor.
3: Not all languages are available as advertised! English is in it tho so no worries.
4: Crappy Chinese apps, this Phone need to be rooted but no root kit available on the net so these crappy chinese apps spoil the fun.
5: The earplug that came with it went within one minute into the trash.
The positives:
Looks identicy to the Iphone 5
5x cheaper.
Works fast, no problems.
I like the quality of the display.
installing apk files are easy.
I like it that they have USB 2 on the bottom and not the new Iphone 5 cable.
Love it that it runs on Android 4*
Overall rating: Good. I think it would have much more sales if they would have made two different versions. one for Chinese, and one for Europe and US without the crappy Chinese what we can't read anyway. Is it worth the money? I think yes. Have to figure out the GPS thing or I can send it back and get a new one. I bought it from China and took about 30 days for delivery.
I have ordered it from a user at DHGate. Check for user "efit" as he's a reliable seller there if you need anything chinese.
So far the fast review. If you want a full review then let the admins me post normally and I fix a youtube video.
The question for here....
How on earth can I root this Goophone I5 and remove all the crappy chinese apps?
This is not the original

Friend unfortunately you bought a fake goophone I5. There is an add on offical goophone.com website they are saying that the phone is in pre-order and will be released on Januray 15.
Install untutu benchmark in this phone and check if it's real MTK 6577. Some clones are using MKT6575.
If it's MKT 6577 this can be help you to root it.

Not sure why you think it's a fake one? It's not a H2000 or Zoophone.
PS: I hate this image verification when trying to reply. BLEH.

Yeh I will make one today in HD 1080.
And now that I know there are others as well, I am thinking of to order the quad-core version to.
By the way, why I like my phone so much is because of this. My old phone before this was a Nokie 3110. LOLhttp://forum.xda-developers.com/images/icons/icon11.gif

i managed to root it with unlockroot without problems. then i ported a twrp recovery.
i downloaded a dual system software in the chinese boards but its not sinking into my brains yet.
maybe the dual system is for us to install a normal ics or jb alongside with the memory hungry ios styled rom

it doesnt have chinese apps when i bought it even has the official playstore. only chinese app i saw is the pinyin keyboard. its easy to root.just connect the phone powered up. usb debugging enabled and let windows install all drivers. then start unlockroot wait till it finishes then its rooted.
after rooting you can try to use this TWRP recovery that i've ported. install mobileuncle from market then placed the recovery image in the root of sd then flash it.

I recently purchased this tablet from Amazon:

I'm looking at recent one on Amazon as well. 10" Kubi, 4gb RAM, 64GB ROM, Android 7.0....
Says upgrades are downloadable. I also see its an MTK chipset so you can use the SPFlash Tool, which is just like Odin for Samsungs....
Have you ever found root?
Awesome specs for $125 !!!!!!!

No, I never did and, after a month or two, the device stopped working properly. I have yet to determine if it is the digitizer that’s gone bad or something causing the OS to run slow. I pretty much gave up on it after getting no answers to my question.
Hello XDA forum! I would like to buy the Artizlee ATL-21X tablet for a number of reasons, mostly the low price and the performances I need (basically a PDF/epub reader with some other lightweight capabilites, no other great expectations, no phone included since I have it already).
Yet I am used to root all the Android devices I have to get rid of all the bloats and to install some utilities that require the root state.
So, before I spend those few euros, I was asking you if that table is rootable or not. Here are the specs...
Artizlee ATL-21X - https://www.amazon.co.uk/Artizlee-A...=1510839802&sr=1-15&keywords=Artizlee+ATL-21X

Hello everybody!
I have a strange thing going on here.
Apps like ROOT CHECKER and MALWAREBYTES say that my tablet is actually rooted yet I cannot install SUPERSU and cannot use apps like TITANIUM BACKUP properly.
anyone knows what's going on here??
Nah, don't worry!
CASE CLOSED! The chinese tablet is properly rooted now, with busybox, TWRP and all the root apps are working fine! Yeah, I'm getting good at it!

can u share how?
TBH I downloaded KingRoot V5.3.0.437 and it made the trick.
The only problem I have is about SuperSU: it keeps say that "SU Binary occupied".
Root Checker Basic confirms that the device is rooted.
All the applications that require a rooted device work perfectly (Titanium Backup, SD Maiden, Root Booster, Xposed Installer, Quick Reboot etc. etc.)
Too bad I don't remember where I have downloaded KingRoot. A lot of links are clogged with suspicious requests and looks-like-phishing links so it has been hard to find the working one...
My existing rig is 13 years old and I've decided to have a new rig built for me. I've come to understand over the last few days that deciding on hardware is a lot more complex than it was 12 years ago and I need some advice but let me start by explaining what I want.
I'm not a gamer and from what I've been told for what I currently do on my PC, an Intel Core I3 would meet my needs. However, based on my experience with my current rig, if you exceed your needs now, the PC you'll build, will last as long as you don't have a hardware failure so I'm wanting my new rig to have a Core I5 instead. Since I want this rig to last I'm going to put a 13th generation Core I5 in it. I'm also planning on it having a Western Digital 1TB SSD in as well. With the above being stated this rig will probably be a once and done build with probably zero chance of it being upgraded down the road.
One question for starter is whether I should go with DDR5 memory or with DDR4? I was speaking to a tech today that said that for what he does, he can't tell the difference in speed between DDR4 and DDR5. Another person I've communicated with said that the price of DDR5 memory is low right now and that since this is a once and done build I might as well go with the faster RAM. With that in mind my local parts house seems to be geared toward DDR4 boards instead of DDR5 boards so if I were to choose DDR4 I would have a wider selection of boards.
Based on the direction of DDR4 vs. DDR5. I'm looking for a board that's not necessarily a high end gamer's board but I don't want a low end board so something in the middle would probably be best. Note that I'm certainly limited to any of the following boards but these are the boards my local parts house stocks. My problem is that I don't have a freaking clue if these are high end, low end or mid-tier boards but most of them are DDR4 boards instead of DDR5 boards. The store obviously likes Gigabyte boards with a couple of ASUS boards thrown in. Since this is a major purchase I'm trying to avoid a major screw up by not picking a decent board so any help and/or advice folks can offer will be appreciated.
