I have miui 1.12.9 installed on my sgs2 gt-i9100. The camera is fine with both rear and front. The video recording mode is normal on rear, but is very dark on front. Anyone experiencing this and know of a fix? What is the best camera app for sgs2? thanks!
I flashed the Revolt JB 2.7 ROM with the dorimanx kernel. The front facing camera and video recording works flawlessly, however the back (regular) camera only takes pictures. The video recording on that side won't record when I press the red button.
Is there something I could do to remedy this or is it a bug in the ROM that I should report?

I'm using revolt myself but I am on 2.6. And I am not experiencing problems. You should probably ask johnhany97 about your problems since he is the developer. He replies fast so you can just post it on the ROMs thread.

check the revolt JB 2.7 rom thread to see if there is any fix file for the same r there is any wrk around solution posted in the FAQ of that rom
also try Clearing Data/Cache of the gallery app and see, since camera is merged with gallery in JB
So I just encountered another problem on CM10 FXP 151 after that magnetic compass bug which I couldn't resolved. The problem is that the camera doesn't works (front and back) in apps other than the stock camera app. I am uploading both the pics of front and back camera on face unlock and google now respectively. So any fix would be really helpful.

Has anyone else experienced this, maybe with a fix? Whenever I use the camera on the Carbon nightlies and switch the camera to be the front-facing one, the image is very stretched and looks bad. Is there some way to fix this? The other camera is fine, even the facelock works.
Is there anybody that feels like the videocam in instragram is kinda choppy when you record? Both in front facing camera and in the rear camera. Im using neatrom lite 4.8. When i used the latest supernexus rom it wasnt choppy. Any soloutions?
