Im am on an Individual's plan. I guess Ill ask AT&T.

Tethering of any kind won't work unless you pay for the feature on an Individual or Family plan.
Tethering is included on the Mobile Share plan.

Sprint hotspot

So we all knew this day would come. Sprint is getting rid of unlimited data for mobile hotspot. Does that affect the hotspot hack that is built into the roms we use? Just wondering

Anyone knows if we can keep the unlimited grandfathered data plan for LTE? I'm thinking about the skyrocket.
Sent from Inspire 4G.
i have not heard of a separate LTE plan but maybe I missed that memo.

LTE Data Plans
Customers can choose from tiered data plans starting as low as $15 per month. Existing smartphone customers do not have to make changes to their data plan.

[Q] Newbie on tethering on the DNA - Fees? App?

Hello,
I'm probably trading my S3 for a DNA.
FoxFi works great on my S3 even after the latest official firmware update.
I currently have a 2GB plan with no tethering. I'd like to make sure tethering can be done on the DNA without any additional fees. From what I've been told it does not support foxfi but has built in hotspot.
Any details would be helpful before I make the switch.
Thanks!
Built in didn't work well for me, but a play store version does. You can definitely do it.

Free mobile hotspots?

I'm thinking about upgrading to this phone mainly because I have heard Verizon is offering free mobile hotspot for this device.
Does anybody know this to be true?

I have the family plan with unlimited data grandfathered in,for me.
Is that the same as shared plan?
Sent from my HTC Droid Incredible 2 using xda premium
No. If you have unlimited data you either have to pay for mobile hot spot or change your data plan to one of the new shared plans.
Or root your phone

[Q] If I buy a Nexus 9 from T-Mobile

.....will I be able to get on their unlimited 4G data plan? Or is the Unlimited 4G data plan *only* for buying their smartphones? Is it worth getting their smartphones, and then tethering to a tablet?
