Thanks for looking
First one to thank you! Trying this as im typing right now..
it's pretty useless without voice recognition
Getting a network error...any ideas?
My data is enabled.
This is working on most AOSP/AOKP.
Not working on stock or stock like roms.
Voice will not connect with servers and you will only get errors.
Its a work in progress.
It will install but you can only search by typing.

Is it possible to get a CMW flashable zip of this?
Just tested it out and it does load but the network issues and no voice search kill it a bit , but its got a future...
To revert back can I just make apk1 to apk?
Or do I need to uninstall something?
I couldn't find it in that thread.
On the last page someone asked the same thing but hasn't had an answer so I was wondering if anyone has done it here.

can you guys with the network error try this one (and log if possible)
push it to /system/app and replace the old one velvet apk if there's any.
what u can do is move the GoogleQuickSearchBox.apk to a folder you know in case you need to place back again, and download and move this one Velvet-theos0o to /system/app and set permission just close and try the search button on your cell phone after a reboot
Thanks
are you properly logged in etc. on other google services?

Delete the googleserachbox.apk in data/app then rename the one in system/app. After that reboot to recovery, clear cache and dalvik then fix permissions and reboot.
yeah just remove the 1 after apk and remove any other velvet or search apk u had place in that folder /system/app
Ok since the flip fonts from the play store do not work properly... I looked around and found a way to get the flip fonts to work... I take no credit for any of the work shared in this thread... I'm just making it easy by putting some links in one spot... Must be rooted to give iFont permission to change the font... :highfive: Thank zsig in this thread http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2252268&page=4 for his explination...

Ok, I managed to install custom fonts on my phone.
Here's how to:
1) Install the app iFont from the play store
2) Run the app (it should create a folder on your files) and then close it
3) Download font apk of your choice
4) Using a file manager place your custom font .apk file on the root of the iFont folder
5) Run iFont again, select the "Local" tab. Your font should be there. Select it and tap "Set".
The app may require you to reboot your phone. When you do, it's done.

You can use search and find other flipfont apk's for download...
Hello,
Many users here are helpful and I have learned a lot..
To thank these good people I've modded a couple of Lollipop apk's and will upload them here for others as a thank you.
These two have been modded for my personal use.
SystemUI.apk mod:
After upgrading my Samsung Galaxy Note 4 (SM-N910G) to Android Loillipop 5.0.1 I was again facing the much disliked "S Finder" and "Quick Connect" buttons in the notification tray.
As I dislike the S Finder and Quick Connect being in the notification tray, they have been removed.
Settings.apk mod:
Since I have disabled/removed a lot of apps I have no use for the following items, they have been removed from the Settings menu
Accessibility
Easy mode
Private mode
Safety assistance
These apk's need to be copied into their original locations (will need root access)
Please back up your original files before doing any of this as I am not responsible if you stuff something up :crying:
SystemUI.apk is located in /system/priv-app/SystemUI
SecSettings.apk is located in /system/priv-app/SecSettings
You will need to set the permissions to these files once you copy them over to rw-r-r--
Regards..
Here are the files
SecSettings.apk
http://www.mediafire.com/download/ctlzcyvenc2jka8/SecSettings.apk
SystemUI.apk
http://www.mediafire.com/download/cg1ne5ab3ue8j7m/SystemUI.apk
Enjoy
Will this work on SM-N910C?
Hi jmcostales,
I am not sure. I can only suggest that you "back up" your files and then try each one and see how you go. If the SystemUI.apk doesn't work for you the worst that will happen is a crash and no notification menu/pull-down. You will be able to copy over your old file and go back. I would assume the same thing for SecSettings.apk. It will either work or just simply crash when you try to access it. If it crashes just copy the old one back. If you decide to try these files don't forget to set the permissions once you copy the files over.
Thank you this work for me. you made me happy

You can go for manual setup ,
1. Extract the zip file, you will get HwCallrecord, HwParent, HwIntelligent under system/app
and PackageInnstaller, HwMediacenter, HpPlugin under system/priv-app.
2. Copy these files in corresponding directory by using any root explorer under root/system/app and root/ystem/priv-app.
3. If you want package installer with autorun and backgroung run facility, you have to delete the GooglePackageInstaller under /root/system/priv-app/GooglePackageInstaller.
4.Give permission to the apk files as well as folders, How? go through screenshots.
5. Reboot, Enjoy
Any queries, you can ask....

Welcome buddy...
Hi, I've got problem with HwParent and HwIntelligent, how install them if they are not installed in the original ROM...because I can't install them normally...package corrupt it says me....
you cannot install them normally, they have to be placed in the system partition and changing the permission as i have already given the screenshots...
Thank you
Hey,
thank you for explaining the manual way - that helped me a lot and also fixed a second problem i have had.
The problem was, that after the update my FM Radio was gone.
I found the app here but i cant push files by ADB as root. So i just installed doing the same way:
i copied the apk to an own folder to /system/app/ , set permissions, rebbooted and it worked perfect.
all your apps are working too.
Except the parental controll - i didnt install it because nothing planned yet... ^^

OK sorry, it was badly asked... I did it as you explained and I succeed to install them but I can't find where to activate them... Now, I find the parent control in the advanced settings with the "student app" with the last post and it works but where I can find or activate the "intelligent" smart assistance app ? And about the package installer, I pasted it in the priv-app file but what happens now ?

After you paste the package installer and gave permission , you have to delete( or cut to make a copy of ) google package installer,,, it will be activated when you remove google package installer folder in the same directory
link dead
Link dead need mirror for the same
.
does anybody have the apps from the link?
can someone reupload it?
This is not my work well it is in the fact I put it together. The module is from Pirasalbe however his module left a box where the : should be on lock screen and ambient display. So I unzipped the file removed the fonts and replaced with fonts made to work with the pixel that credit goes to xda member sharkie405 . This is Bellota font it changes every font on the phone dialer contacts g+ etc here is the link just download open magisk go to modules and hit the yellow + navigate to downloads and pick it. It will install and after reboot profit. If you want to use a different font you unzip go to system fonts and delete everything but the first font that says Google I believe that is the correct : for the time. Then just cut and paste the other font, zip the file and install. I know I could have just flashed the original zip sharkie405 made in twrp if I had twrp installed but I don't so I made this for magisk. If you don't like the font just disable the module and reboot you will be back to stock. If anyone else makes a different module please post it here for all to enjoy.
The module will have Pirasalbe credit mods if this is an issue or violates any rules please let me know and delete this thread. I certainly do not want to upset anyone or have them think I am hijacking their work. Download oad--->https://www.dropbox.com/s/plvvkhv8x7x8i1z/Bellota_Font-1.9.zip?dl=0
