But this morning he tried starts his phone and the phone stuck at SONY logo. Can't boot to cwm. I've tried flash stock kernel using flashtool. Then you're doing something wrong, and there is a thread a day about this one issue now. Flash a stock ftf and report back.

Flashed.."flash succesful disconect and start your device" nothing changed still on Sony logo

That's just a kernel then, you need a ROM, which is 250,000KB upwards, so get a ROM ftf and try again if you haven't already.

The main idea is to restore your framework-res.apk. U can use aroma explorer if you have installed CWM from boot. If u havent, u should unlock your bootloader, there are several methods, i would suggest the unofficial through s1 tool with testpoint. Do you have a custom ROM build, or the official that came with your phone?
Take your battery off, start flashtool, put battery back in DO NOT power up.
Connect to pc when flashtool tells you holding back button.

but I don't want to unlock bootloader. so I flashed it completely using flash tool. And had to give-up my all app updates. Now working fine...
Install cwm this time, even if your staying on stock, so that if something like this happens again, atleast it's easier to recover without loosing data.

Go to recovery mode, wipe phone completely ( cache, data, dalvik cache, battery stat if you want to ), then flash your rom. it will be fine
back to cwm again.

Thanks. I just did that. I flashed it but it came back to CWM again.
please help.
after reboot it came back to recovery ? Okay if it so. try these :
1. do as i said earlier + before flashing rom, after wiping phone , go to mounts and storage and formate /system, /data and /cache manually. then flsah rom and reboot.
if this didn't work,
2. then as the first comment on this page says, download ftf file (rom) for your device and flash it via flashtool. all instructions will be given when you'll select to flash ftf . dont worry this will work definitely.
but sorry i haven't asked you earlier, you have locked bootloader or unlocked ? because if you'r using wrong kernel which is not for the rom, you'll get bootloops.if on wrong kernel, try flashing right kernel for your device. good luck

need help - Mini Pro Sk17i Bricked

Hi everbody
I tried to install this rom http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1707876 but when I finish the instalation, the phone just bricked at the sony ericsson logo. I realy need help. :crying:
Sorry for my English.
Is your bootloader unlocked? Did you install the recommended kernel? Did you wipe what had been asked to be wiped in the thread? Did you wait for at least a few minutes before concluding that your device is bricked? Did you attempt to enter CWM and try to restore a backup? Did you try to boot into CWM and install another ROM which had previously worked for you?
All those things needs to be done before you can call your device a brick. It is no where near to brick I suppose.
Anyways, if nothing works, try to flash any official firmware for your device using flashtool.
Also, check the First Aid thread that had been pinned up in this forum.
Thanks,
Rick

it happens to me if ur phone can go to flashmode... then u can always flash the original .ftf files for mango... or u can also use wotan client... it also hapens to me when i acidentaly flash wrong kernel...
i hope this gives u any idea....
Don't worry It's not bricked, it just wont load the OS (ROM). If you have locked bootloader, then flash official firmware through PC Companion (SEUS), if you have an unlocked bootloader then flash the official firmware (ROM) through Flashtool which you can find here, and you need to download appropriate ROM for your device which you can find here. Hope I helped.

If you can enter flash mode, then use flash tool.
Unlock bootloader, install custom kernel, install the ROM once again and you're done.
No need to install stock ROM first, if your target is installing the custom ROM.

Good day guys! I have the same problem. It is actually my first time at this so forgive me. I was trying to install CM 10 on my Neo V. So I went to CWM, wiped data/factory, wiped dalvic-cache then went on to installing the rom. It gave the status 7 error. So I went back to the file to remove the getprop lines. Tried to flash it again, but got another error like this "set_perm: some changes failed". After rebooting, I'm stuck at the "SONY" logo. I can't go to CWM anymore and I can't go to fastboot (pressing volume up + plug usb) too. Is there any way to recover my phone? I'll appreciate any help. Thanks!

Also a clean install is what i'd suggest

ok here's what I did. coming from stock ICS, I unlocked the bootloader and flashed Sony Xperia Sola custom boot for 6.1.1.B.1.10 + rooted + CWM Touch recovery v5.5.0.4 from here. i was successful but it's still lag. So I tried flashing Infinity ROM using CWM then when I rebooted my phone it's stuck on the "SONY custom" boot logo. I waited for several minutes but it still won't continue.
I can still access CWM and flash again the custom boot 6.1.1.B.1.10 + rooted + CWM but to no luck. still stuck at boot logo
any suggestion would be appreciated!

If I'm not wrong, the Pixel team's ROMs need pure stock kernel. The ROM doesn't include the kernel i think, which is why wipe data is never needed. The One by munjeni has a modified kernel, and that could explain the bootloop.
You could flash either Stock, the xHybrid ROM, or the PureBlood ROM and then flash to Infinity ROM. As both have the Stock Kernel in them, they should work, but you'll lose data ( data wipes are always recommended when trying new ROMs, except updates from the rom you are currently running )
Sola Stuck on Sony logo+battery not charging
Hi guys,
I was using munjeni's jelly bean port+ etch04's experimental kernel for sometime and everything was great until yesterday. My battery died out completely and when I plugged it into the charger it turned on and was stuck in the Sony logo. There was no charging indicator. I thought omg so this is what a hard brick looks like. As you know, the sola's battery isn't removable so I thought I was doomed.Tried a hard reset and there was no difference. So I kept it there (plugged in, stuck in the sony logo) for a while, plugged it out and turned it on. Luckily, IT HAD CHARGED even if the charging indicator or display didn't show it. So I tried turning it on but it got stuck on the sony logo as usual. Since the battery had charged a little, I plugged the phone in fastboot mode and flahed etch04's experimental kernel again. But it still got stuck in the sony logo. Then, as a last resort I flashed the stock ICS .54 kernal using flashtool and IT WORKED! (charged with charging indicator and display)
Then I flashed etch04's kernel again and now everything's back to normal.
Here's the stock ICS .54 kernel.

Place it in flashtool/firmware folder and flash with flashtool.
Good Luck!

Hi
Placed the ROM.zip in sd card and did a full wipe. In my CWM, there is no option to go back, hence rebooted the system to install the ROM after full wipe. My phone got stuck at Sony logo and even unable to access CWM. Please help!

I happened to soft-brick my Neo V few days back after installing a custom ROM. Please read on to see what helped me get my Neo V up and running again.
If your phone is stuck at SONY logo, I doubt it will go into CWM recovery mode either. I had tried flashing stock kernel through Flashtool, and also tried the FOTA-Unbrick method via flashtool, but even that didn't help. Finally, I used the "repair" option in PC Companion which flashed Stock ICS ROM on my Neo V (however, all data on phone's internal memory was lost and my phone had to e rooted again). But at least my phone was recovered. Hope this will guide you.
Details Please!!
Details details !!!:fingers-crossed:
Without the details, people cannot help you!!!
From your statement, i beleive your's is rooted and CWM installed.
But let us know whether BL is unllocked?. I guess its not..
So first of all, the ROM you choose should be supporting BL unlocked phones.
let us know the firmware which you were earlier and the ROM which you tried to flash and the BOOTLOADER status.
NEO V | PAC MAN 18
Hit Thanks if my words lightened you hair
turn off device.
connect to pc on flash mode.
use flashtool to flash stock firmware.
at least thats what i do when my phone end up stuck in sony logo or bootloop.
