Since the Archos 80 titanium seems to bee more or less the same hardware as the cobalt, would it be possible to port 4.1.1 os to the cobalt or even just flash it as is?

I have been looking out for custom rom or atleast upgrade to Android 4.1 or 4.2 for the Karbonn Smart Tab 7 (ST7).
Has anyone been able to upgrade? Because lots of issues with stock ROM. I keep getting message that no SD Card found even though the SD card is present and detected by the device.
hi I have Archos 70 Internet Tablet 250GB froyo 2.2 android I wonder is there any customs rom working with this model. froyo IS slow very slow.

2.2 andriod Rom type are varied,but it seems all not full perfect,maybe you can consider MIUI ,with MIUI no pressues,

I have a rom that is currently running Android 4.2.1 on a mediatek device. I was wondering what files/what needs to be edited to upgrade my rom to Android 4.3 or 4.4.
I know I should modify the build.prop. But thats kinda it for the upgrade. Has anyone any knowledge about this?

Hey, the best firmware depends on the amount of the RAM on your device. The most compatible firmware is the latest stock one from Archos (4.0.28). It almost doesn't have any glitches. But it has a very old kernel with more vulnerabilities. And it also has a rather old Android distribution. If you have a device with 512 MB RAM (it's a bit smaller in reality) than you probably should try [4.4.4] CyanogenMod 11.0 firmware, but it has several bugs. If you have 1 GB RAM model than you should try the latest one in G9 development branch of this forum (5.1.* CyanogenMod 12.1).
I have a archos 70 xenon color tablet that runs android 5.1
I already search for a custom rom because this tablet comes with the worst bloadware but i wasnt able to find any custom rom.
also when i find one after a lot of search it was compaitable with archos 70 xeneon color but this tablet that compaitable running android 4.2 (not like mine 5.1) Is there a custom rom for archos 70 xenon color.I only hope a rom that get rid of this bloadware apps and if its possible with android 6
