Im not soo sure, looking at mine, look like the ATT logo is Laser Etched to the aluminum Body...
Did you try scrubbing it with a sugar cube? In the old days with dumb phones, it used to work well without damaging the plastic.

The phone isn't made of plastic though. This isn't a Samsung device.
I do believe it is laser engraved into the aluminum and will be almost impossible to remove without damaging the device in some way.

Yeah, I can't really tell if it's laser engraved or if it's painted. I don't mind the logo on mine, but if there's a way to get rid of the logo I would remove the "beats" logo too.
My Otterbox Commuter did a great job of removing both logos from the back.
I would try some 1000 grit sand paper. Just be careful not to hit the anodizing or you scratch that off too.

Bad advice.. I would never ever try that.
Once you use sandpaper, no matter what grit number, there's no way back. You'll never be able to make it blend with the rest of the area.

I hear putting it in the mircowave on high for 15 seconds will fix your problem. Or soaking it in water... Maybe is you shoot a shotgun shell real close to the phone it will burn it off??
(by the way don't try any of these things)

Keep hope alive. There's a thread over in the htc one (not att htc one) forum that has part of the beats audio logo rubbing off accidentally:

So it at least looks possible.

Has anyone got dust under their Amaze yet?
I have dust under mine and I'm wondering if there was any way (easy or not) to get it out. I emailed Wind and checked if maybe they could do something about it since I'm still under warranty, but if my warranty is one use only then I'll save it for when it's actually something more important.

Yeah, I had it on the first one I had, couple days ago. I got mine exchanged for other reasons but this one did not come with dusts under the screen new. But it did come with this strong women perfume scent, because they replaced mine with open boxed one. I hope this goes away soon, because.my palms always smells like a girl now...

try alcohol wipes, and wipe everywhere, back cover etc. Most of the smell will be gone.
Unless of course you're starting to like it

In case you didn't know, I meant dust...
I've taken my Droid Incredible apart, to replace both speakers.
Why would the bezel be in the way of the back of the screen?
I have to take the bezel off to get to the front of the camera?
I think I'll learn to ignore the dust, maybe in a year I'll see, but this is too new to me...

The only way to fix that issue is to disassemble the phone and replace the front camera. Then make sure you tighten it enough so that dust can't get in. Hit thanks if that helps.

I don't blame you. Some thoughts that came to mind were trying the old sugar cube trick (from old WinMo days). Believe the sugar cube is equivalent to a 1500 grit sandpaper?? Or get a pen tipped 1500 grit sanding tool???
However, since the white or dark shell of our Notes are plastic...sanding may not be the best option. Maybe trying something like Goo-Be-Gone on a VERY VERY SMALL part of the logo (maybe apply with cotton swab or tooth pick) to make sure it comes off and doesn't discolor the plastic?
EDIT: Sorry, I didn't read carefully that you wanted to hide the logo by a case or screen protector...
This aluminum case would do it too.

I don't have one, so can't comment on fit and finish but from the pictures it looks like it would hide the logo.

Just my two cents: I picked up two of these to under 10$ (hunt around, they're listed under dozens of different names) and I'm pleasantly surprised with the quality. They're certainly no Otterbox but at that price I expected much less.

Hey buys, be warned DO NOT PUT THIS PHONE IN YOUR BACK POCKET. the digitizer may crack.
I was sitting on a chair yesterday with my phone in my back pocket and i heard a crack sound, took out my phone and there were 8 hairline cracks on the digitizer (the thing underneath the glass) The screen didn't turn on. Toast. Its a $124 dollar piece on ebay. It sucks. Be careful. Have a good day.

Don't back-pocket the Note 2 either. I have not cracked the screen but I have experienced a few unexplained restarts! Probably cause by flexing and the battery losing contact!
Don't put any high end phone in your back pocket and then site on people come on you all should know better than that.

I don't mean this as sarcastically as it's going to sound, but how the hell is the back pocket the only pocket your i777 will fit in? Do you wear skinny jeans? Or are you just diminutive in stature? Again, I'm sincerely blown away by this notion, not just trying to be an asshole... But my gnex, hell my wife's s3 fits in my front pocket perfectly fine. The s3 fits in her pocket fine (you can see the outline clearly because she's a woman, with tight woman jeans) but she has no problem pocketing and retrieving it. What kind of tiny pockets to you walk through life with, sir?

But in all seriousness, quit wearing skinny jeans and instead wear leggings bro. Makes your butt and thighs look bigger and is REALLY popular among teenage girls. c;
Well, i do believe this thread has run its course.......
This is a strange one.
Last night I pulled my Maxx out of my pocket and it looked like an inch long piece of string was sticking out of the top of my phone in the place where the back panel and the top of the phone just above the camera and flash meet. I went to pluck it off realized it wasn't a string but a stretchy piece of something in between the two parts of the phone. Now that area of the back panel just above the camera wiggles. Anyone know what that stringy thingy was? Yeah, I know, "stringy thingy" is a real technical term. lol

It seemed a little more substantial than glue, almost like some kind of rubberized or silicone tape. I remember reading somewhere here on XDA that Moto used some kind of tape to make the Razr water resistant. Could this be the tape?
Try holding your phone under water for a few minutes and see if it leaks. If no water leaks in you should be OK.
I cannot say for sure but it's probably a rubberized sealant that was applied before the phone was assembled. They're semi-liquid and they cure to the consistency of rubber. After curing they are cut (manually or automatically) using a knife so that they conform to the shape.
I would assume that if the 'filament' that you took out has a constant width then you lost water-proofness for that area. You might be lucky and perhaps only teared part of the width of the sealant.
And no, don't put your phone under the water, it's a bad idea even if the seal is intact. It's splash proof only, not 'diving' proof, huge difference between those two.
