thanks djranbhir. so u mean it is like beta JB European update(bugs) and not meant for Asian users, right. djranbhir will desire x really get official JB update even for Asian customers including India HTC has made one thing clear that 512 RAM phones will not get JB update https://support.htc.com/alerts_downloads/en/Updates_on_Android_4.1

And this phone has 700 mb+ of ram and I am pretty sure they wont release update just in middle & eastern europe, they just chosed this region to betatest update for them, before they make it avaliable worldwide (honestly, releasing update just for randomly selected nations would be highly illogical, therefore not true for company like this).
they cant release beta update all around the globe.. people who have gotten the update are already hating HTC (due to bugs), as to revert back is not as simple as installing any ROM, coz JB update, updates the hroot because of which to revert back one will have to revert the hroot version too.. Now think if that update would have released all around then what would have happened to all the Desire X users..
I think in around 2 months we all will get first stable release of JB on DX..
about the poll, its true HTC have released the beta JB update in certain regions of Europe
Question, is it fixable, can HTC do it from their side with an update. I assume they are clever people and are working on it.

Guys I found an RUU for Asia. ( Not sure if there's one already)
Couldn't test it as I don't have the device. Can somebody confirm its real?
Here is the Link
I just found the guy on XDA: Credits to him @BugsyLawson
I've PMd him. Waiting for his reply regarding the RUUs available.

I don't download/test it but as per the RUU no. x.xx.708.x it is for Hong Kong only CID HTC__622 and the 1.14 means the hboot is 1.20
HTC__038 - you need 1.18.720.x (hboot 1.24)
HTC__044 - you need 1.18.707.x (hboot 1.24)
Link Not working

Then why is the european ruu compatible with so many CIDs? i dont get it.

It's something that is controlled from the hboot which read the android-info.txt in each RUU/OTA
For EU they have a few CIDs in its android-info.txt and for India only HTC__038, Hong Kong only HTC__622 but for x.xx.707.x there are two HTC__044 and VODAP022
You can see this info in the build.prop too.

why are people so obsessed with this (not meant offensively)? it does nothing and more importantly proves nothing, recognised developer/contributor/themer/howmuchmorearethere tag is way better, are thanks a way to get this tag? that would explain a lot.

Hi navmad,
Thanks for your PM. I've had a look through my entire collection and emailed a few friends, but unfortunately I haven't been able to uncover the RUU that you were looking for. In the end I resorted to the old faithful method of Google to see if I'd missed anything, but instead of finding an RUU - I ended up landing here instead
As RUU's for this device seem so hard to come by, perhaps it might be an idea to ask around to see if anyone has a stock nandroid backup and recovery image your CID instead? Although I'm not active in the Desire X forum, I'd be happy to host any backups to ensure that people have easy access to the files. It was just a thought.
Sorry that I couldn't be more help.
Bugsy.
Anyone here got any !dea when will there be a RUU for 044 CID?
finally it is available for CID HTC__044
I'd specially like to mention @ckpv5
so that he could upload his full sense JB rom

Hello all,
Is there a way to MANUALLY update hboot 1.24 to 1.25? JB is still not out for CID_J15.
Thank you.

Hello all,
There is still no JB update for me CID_J15 although some people with the same CID got it!
I am on JB custom ROM, i return back to stock ICS to check for the update, but no luck!
A guy "ahmad" made a thread for all the official OTA updates, which includes CID_J15, but when am on stock, my software version is -as i remember- 1.18.405.x
So, can i use any of the OTA updates mentioned in that thread to update to JB?
I just need my hboot to be updated as am going to continue using custom ROMs.
Thanks

Try : http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=44076298&postcount=6
ill start off by saying, im a total nub to this. that said, a few months ago, i stock rooted my phone to scotts rom jb 4.3, ive been having issues with losing data connections recently, be it over at&ts network or wifi, didnt matter. so i decided to unroot my phone, lock the boot loader, and s-on. i tried using this ruu:
RUU_M7_UL_K44_SENSE55_MR_Cingular_US_4.18.502.7_R1 0_Radio_4T.24.3218.09_10.26.1718.01L_release_35656 5_signed_2
to go back to stock, but apparently the radios didnt match and i resorted to using the stock ruu which was:
RUU_M7_UL_JB_50_Cingular_US_1.26.502.12_Radio_4A.1 4.3250.13_10.33.1150.01_release_318450_signed_2
only problem with this is im now back to JB 4.1.2 and cant do an OTA update with AT&T. i have called their tech support to see if they could push the update, but they dont seem to know what theyre doing and said i should try "the htc website and download it from there". so anyway, my question is, can the rom be updated straight from jb 4.1.2 to kk 4.4 using an RUU? or do i have to do the updates sequentially? there was a later release with a slightly different radio which was:
RUU M7 UL JB 50 Cingular US 1.26.502.15 Radio 4A.17.3250.20 10.40.1150.04 Release 326691 Signed 2
so i dont know if i can just run that and then do the OTA for kk 4.4? or run that and then do the RUU for kk 4.4? im at a total loss.

I'm sorry so you can or can't take OTA's? If you can, you could always do that back to 4.4, only problem being at&t's wait 24hrs.The kit kat ruu should run as long as it's signed (since you are S-ON). Have you tried running it after you flashed that stock ruu?

The JB 4.3 RUU will take the OTA update no problem
get it from HTC here >> http://dl3.htc.com/application/RUU_...13_10.38j.1157.04_release_334235_signed_2.exe
you'll have to relock your bootloader if your not s-off
